"I got promoted to third class junior rank" Asta said to Magma
"Congratulations but what is that?" Magma and Luck replied
Yami explained how the ranks worked and how you could gain one.
"You guys are still 5th junior class magic knights, better show Asta some respect, Charmy is actually 1st class Junior magic knight and Ren on the other hand is got promoted to 3rd Senior magic knight he was already a 5th senior magic knight before joining our squads he is been doing missions from when he was 10 for the wizard king."
Luck and Magma were surprised and shouted "EEHHHHHHH"

During the next few days I started working on the FTG trying to improve its range because against higher ranked opponents its not as usefull compared to when you are fighting low rank opponents because they will easily get used to it and also they can sense you so sneak attacks won't work easily so I primary plan to use it for travelling. After 2 days working on it without getting any sleep I have increased the range to cover half of the kingdom and placed the markers in every major city and village but I can still only transport 1 person and travelling long distances takes quite a lot of mana especially when travelling with someone.

Finral went with Luck and Asta on the mixer, I started training the susanoo its skill half body but it no longer a skeleton and has got some armour around it now, I am quite happy with the progression I guess.
I have also been working on amaterasu and kagutsuchi I have gained basic control of the flames but its quite hard to master it.
During all time the capital has been repaired and my business has been booming and profit has almost risen by 50% compared to when I took over I also go visit home from time to time Boris my butler decided to retire and since then no one stays at the mansion but every week a maid comes to clean things up.

Today was finally the day when the children where going to get kidnapped I saw Asta and Magma leaving so I joined them.
Everyone visited the church and we went to sleep at a inn and I felt the children move after sometime everyone noticed the missing kids and started to search for them I had already marked a kid when they started moving so I tracked the kids pretty quick so everyone followed me outside the cave we saw Marco fallen and me and Asta rushed into the cave just as the brothers were going to remove the mana from the 1st kid I threw a kunai to break the machine.
I attacked the white haired kid and cut one of his legs with chidori and walked towards the 2nd one cut both of his arms I knew the white haired mage was just being manipulated so 1 leg should be enouch while the other guy was just a piece of shit. I placed an FTG marker on him because I knew that crazy bitch was gonna break in and turn him into a monster it was the perfect time to kill her.
Asta hit every kid on his head to dispell out the magic as they started to move out of the cave to safety.
Then the finally the crazy bitch arrived through the spatial magic.
Baro the older brother said "It took you long enough to travel through spatial magic I lost both off my arms because of you coming late"
"Ohh I guess I can use you for an experiment" Sally said in a sadist tone.
She went near him to inject him as I planned as the others were just watching like dumasses and just let her do it I quickly teleported and slit her throat 'Finally no more dreams of this crazy bitch trying to dissect me haha I can sleep in peace now' I though
"Hey you killed her was there really a need to do that" shouted Asta
'Characters like Naruto an Asta always have plot armor but for a guy without plot armor in this world I definitely don't want to get dissected by a crazy bitch' I though
"If I did not kill her she would have probably extracted mana from hundreds of children it was lucky that we were here during the kidnapping or else every kid here would have no mana like you and you probably know how hard it is to live without mana right?"
But as I was saying that Baro transformed into a huge mud monster and he managed to scratch me before I dodged 'damn this crazy bitch is creating problems even after her death'
Asta cut on of the golems arms with his sword while he almost got squashed by the other one I teleported him out of there while the fight was going on the children finally got out.
I guess I can use it now huh, I created several clones surrounded the golem "Fire Style: Fierce Dragon Flame Jutsu"
As several flames dragon attacked the golem releasing intense heat if the children were in here they probably would have fainted and maybe something worse could happen.
The golem instantly turned into glass as I swung a sword breaking it into pieces.
As everything finally went peaceful that moment Litch arrived.
