Chapter 5: Brian and Mr Marco part 2
Everyone just starring at us, it looked like the ground would swallow me to piece when I heard something unexpected everybody were clapping for us I then looked at him and he smiled and I did also when I saw Tess from behind she looked at me
I was in the school cafeteria with Tess and my head was down,on the table I looked so embarrassed because I was the talk of the day but wait who does he think he is, I his girlfriend???? I hope he was just teasing me but even so….my life is miserable.
I said so as I kept on growling on the table
"Tess, what is the fastest way to commit suicide"
She even pulled my hair and I stood up with my long hair scattered and messy
"Suicide?….I would have told you but your life is already miserable so it won't make much of a different"
I then fell down to the table hitting my head not considering the fact that I could have a bad headache
"(Sigh,as she eats her sandwich)Come to think of it, it really isn't something that bad, you have a boyfriend now and it happens to be everyone dream man)
Then cana got up again with her messy hair and looked less miserable
"Yeah you are right, it isn't something to be ashamed of "
" (Nods) Yep the most popular and handsome boy fell in love with a...(then cana looked at her in a way of wanting to hear what she will say)...normal girl"
Then cana kept the sandwich in full in her mouth and drank the milk and said
"Nah, I doubt he likes me he just used me as a decor by saying am his girlfriend to save his butt"
"Probably"
Tess said so smiling like she supported the fact that he is not my boyfriend but come to think of it ,she actually like him
"Come to think of it, what were you doing with Brian that night that you were caught together"
I then got up prepared to go early to class before the next lesson because as the class representative I had to get things done early
"Its a long story,I have to go now….bye"
I then left then Tess said
Am even more prettier than her why does she always get the hot shot"
I arranged all the Materials needed for the next lesson and brought out some paperwork which will be used (my assistant is useless and I am really shy to talk to others except for Tess)I carried heavy papers to the class in and out, then i suddenly spotted Brian he was talking to his friends(his friends are also cute so most girls that try to get close to him aren't doing it for him but to get close to his friend because they feel like they are way out of his league, and now he said that am his girlfriend with just one date wait it wasn't even a date it was just an apology dinner (he spent all my life savings)
I kept on running in thought not knowing that i was staring at him and he was doing the same when i noticed i then turned back and he followed me and grabbed the book from my hand I then paused and looked at him
"Next time call me, to help you I can't let my girlfriend carry load its embarrassing so from now on I am your load"
I kept staring at him and smiled to his face and said
"Am not your girlfriend"
"Huh…..yeah it was too sudden should we make it official"
"You already did"
"By saying official I mean we would invite the whole school for dinner"
I then stopped and looked at him and asked him for the book but he refused to give me
"Give me….you really don't look like you are prone to work and already there, boyfriend"
He smiled and gave me a peck and my heartbeat became fast and fast and I looked at him
"Let's go on a real date today, let's meet at the bus stop by 7:00pm OK"
I couldn't say anything as I watched him leaving I then kept the paper in the classroom and it soon was closing period so me and tess walked home together
"I thought you were going to ditch me to meet your prince charming"
"I didn't ditch you, i was busy at the library and happen to bump into him"
"As if…."
We then kept on going while everywhere was quiet when i remembere my date ,well i didnt forget i just didnt want to tell her
"I will borrow your makeup kit for today and also the curl just for tonight"
"A date ?????"
"Yep"
"Need some hot dress"
"Yep"
"One condition, you will feed me on your relationship timeline"
"Sure"
"Totally in"
It was already the time for the date and Tess dressed me up in the short red gown and did my hair curl and also make up so I left the house to meet him at the bus stop for our first date I feel so nervous ,this isn't my first time going to dates at the very least but this is my first time feeling so inferior to my boyfriend, what if the gown is too red for his liking I should have picked the Royal blue that would have been better ,is my makeup too much or small what about my hair , I ran into thought as I got there and kept thinking when I met a guy that came out from a car he was so hot then I realized he is Brian, wait doesn't he have taste for women , you are toast cana….no you have to grab on tight type him, yes you can do it!!!!(cheering for herself)
He then came towards me and gave me a wave
OK cana act like nothing happened
"Your car???"
"Yes...sorry I should have asked for your home address but I didn't, I just thought it would be weird to ask you that first"
(He even have courtesy,yep he is the one)
"No not at all"
He then kept his hand on his pocket, he looked so cool when he did that, and he said to me
"Where do you want to go to eat, its on me"
"(Smirk)(Revenge time😏😏) I have a perfect place in mind"
It is known to be the famous chicken palace it serve but grilled, fried and cooked chicken it is the best
I knew that I wanted to revenge but the more I look at it, I can't just do it I ordered for grilled chicken with cheese sprinkle, while he took his own order and they brought it he then ordered for two bottle of beer and poured for me in a cup but I rejected it
"No,I will pass"
"What??? You don't drink beer"
"Yes...No I do drink but I am...I will just pass"
"Um…"
"I don't want to get drunk….its embarrassing in front of people"
"People???"
"No that's not what I meant, its just…. "
Dammit am trappsilent(I remained silent and kept on eating then we left the place and went to a swing)
"Sorry, I ruined our first date"
"You owe me beer,just know that"
I then nodded and looked at him as he looked up to the sky
"What are you thinking about Brian"
"Nothing, what about you"
"Alot of things"
"A lot of things like what???"
I then tighten my hand ,almost as if I am afraid to let out what I want to say, I then released my hand and said to him in a soft tone
"Like, how am suddenly falling in love with you"
He then smiled at me and it was getting cold so he gave me his jacket and I entered his cae, when he gave me his jacket I was shocked and didn't say anything until we reached the bus stop
"I will drop,here"
"No, let me take you to your house ,what district are you living"
"It's fine I will drop here(I then opened the door so he parked his car)it's late you should go home"
I came out but surprisingly he did the same thing he came out
"What….what are you doing, I said its fine,I...."
"Jacket, give me the jacket"
I then looked at my body and saw that I was still wearing the jacket this is so embarrassing dammit why did I forget to pull it off, I then gave him but I was expecting him to leave but he didn't he was calling a taxi for me but it was so ridiculous I suppose this is his first time calling a taxi , I then joined him and after 15 to 20 minutes we got one
"I will take it from here….you should really be going now, bye"
"hm…..bye"
I then smiled at him and he did the same then i brought out my phone from my small purse and asked for his number then he asked me why and I said
"Because you said that I should call you if I needed anything"
I pulled my phone to his front he collected it and gave me his number and I collected it back and told him bye and was about entering when he grabbed me by my hand and we were about to kiss but he stopped after making my heart beat fast and he pecked me again and waved at me and left while the poor disappointed girl went home
The restaurant was filled up with lot of people and I came in with a sad look and greeted Mrs Quinn
"Oh… .please help me take the order for table 9 and serve table 2"
"Yes, ma'am"
I did as she said ,and joined Tess in washing the crabs
"You don't look so happy"
"I am happy, infact am more than happy"
We kept on doing it until midnight and there was still lot of crabs and pork
"Why did Mrs Quinn buy this much"
"I heard mom say she is having a reopening at one of the branch so they need this much"
"Oh.. "
We kept on doing and we were finally done and we refrigerated it and I went inside as Tess and her mom were making budget for the supermarket , I tried studying but I couldn't because I just can't stop thinking of how we were about to share a mouth to mouth kiss but he then suddenly stopped, what happened did my breath stink was I unattractive wait(I then removed my glasses and looked at them and wore them and got up to go outside)its probably because if the glasses , I went to where Tess and her mom were and said to Tess mom
"Mrs Quinn, I need a contact len"
"Uh….OK I will get it for you"
"Um…"
(Brian was talking to his friends in school)
"Are you really serious about dating that old fashioned girl,seriously there are lots of better chicks outside to date"
"Yeah, common the whole school are mocking you"
"Do you....woah whose there is it you cana"
She sneaked at his back and covered his face then she released him and says surprise then his friends left
"Woah your glasses"
"Contact lens, do you like it"
"Yep"
"I got you this (she gave him the package and he opened it and sees cupcake and mixed blended juice and he collects it and smile) Brian let's go out after school, I know a nice place, let's take grilled chicken and beer together and get drunk and spend a whole night by ourselves"
"(Holds her on her shoulder as they leave) are you sure you are not already drunk, you really have a thing with word"
When in love you become too possessive,you can sometimes forget your place, because love knows no positive, I thought this would be a happy ending for my lovestory, i thought I would live my life to the fullest with Brian Hunter but I should have known my position I should have, and never fallen for him
I was going home with Tess that day when I received a phone call that Brian has an accident, I immediately asked for the place and gave Tess my stuff(we just left the convenience store) and ray to meet Brian then Tess called me back but I didn't listen and kept on running as she followed but I wished I had turned back time then I wouldn't have seen that site, Brian and his friends were with lot of girls drinking, smoking (cigarettes) and dancing he saw me and held onto a girl and kissed her and I shivered in fear and I went to meet him but he didn't stop then I said
"Stop(about to cry)let's go outside and talk*
"No"
"What is all this why are you (raises her voice) behaving like this, if its a mistake just say sorry and I will reconsider this"
"(Laughs as he stops kissing her)Reconsider what??? To Still being your boyfriend, you see I never liked you at all and I will never like you"
"(Shakes)what are you talking about, what of all the time you said you love me what about that time when you said am your only woman"
"(Laughs as he rubs he face and faced her)words are much easier to say than you think , I thought about dating you because o were the type which others will get curious about, but either ways i really liked your service as my girlfriend"
Then Tess suddenly came in panting
" (She holds Brian in her hand as she was crying) let's talk about this, I believe it is a set up"
"oh...it seemed like you are the one who later had the accident(smiles as he leaves) thanks for the cupcake"
Cana fell down on the floor and realized that she was the one that was set up and she is the actual accident.
