Chapter 34

"Come with me and share your secrets; let me ease your pain."

The papers were now accumulated in a small pile on my desk, just looking at them gave me a migraine. It was one thing to be a civil servant for one of the nationalist parties, I had chosen it since my father was someone who believed in 'change to conserve', it was something that I did not necessarily agree with and something that I and father had good debates on. My father was a good man before his untimely passing, he had fully supported my opposite ideology - I can never recall the time when my father truly got angry at me.
