Chapter 12: Led into a Pit
Cain accidentally found out that he can place the same item at one space in his inventory, the apples was placed at the same slot and became Apple ×2. With that in mind, he placed a cloth filled with loot and placed it on his inventory, he tought that the things placed inside the cloth would come out but instead, it was placed on the slot without any problems whatsoever.
He found a cheat way to make his 20 slot inventory into a infinite storage system that he could use anytime anywhere. He stole cloths and placed all his loot and the things he stole in the cloth and threw it into the inventory.

He didn't know how or if it was a bug in the system but it actually works. He then started to arrange and sort the loot that he got and placed it inside the cloth in a clean manner. With the loot he got sorted out, he could quickly take out a cloth from his inventory and use the things inside the cloth if he needs to use them.
There was a cloth full of valuable and powerful loot that he stole and looted from the ruins, monsters.... Anyway, inside this particular cloth was one weapon that he found when he cleared an unknown ruins, there were also stones that he mined from a mine he found. It was a valuable stone that he could use if he needed to.
This item that he found was called the Champion's Halberd.

Cain's purple eyes glowed as he took out the Halberd carefully from the cloth. The Halberd was long, atleast twice as taller and longer than an average human. Cain held the Halberd tightly on his hand and threw the cloth after taking out 10 Magic Core Stone from the cloth.
He grab one stone and crushed it in his hands.

He grab another stone and crushed it on his hand, he repeated this after all stone was crushed.

"Whoo..... A few more hits like that is going to get me killed..." Cain let out his breath before holding the Halberd tighter in his hands.
-Huhu.... Then you should drop dead then!
The Lamia dashed towards Cain with her spear on her hand. She thrusted the spear towards Cain but Cain immediately dodged to the side and twisted his body, moving his legs to fast speed and kicking her body.
The Lamia blocked his kick with her tail and grabbed him by the neck. Cain crouched down, forming his hands into a fist, he punched her abdomen making Anasta grimace in pain. Cain used this chance to stab the spear through her chest but Anasta narrowly avoided it and countered with her own stab.
Cain, however, dodge it with ease and kicked her again. She moved back a little and easily caught her balance but she didn't expect thag Cain would kick her again. She expected that her back would be slammed on the ground but instead of that, she was feeling as if she was falling.
She looked behind her and saw that it was a hole filled with sharpened sticks stabbed on the ground. Instinctively, she reached her hand on the dirt beside her along with her spear and stabbed it to the dirt, stopping her from falling and die from being stabbed by the sharpened sticks.
Cain was above her, grinning at her. She felt something was wrong and heard something rushing towards her. She looked back and what she saw that she thought was sharpened sticks was actually an underground monster with large spikes on its back.
Anasta sensed a foreboding feeling from when she saw Cain's evil smile. Anasta gulped down her saliva with a hardened expression on her face.
