Chapter 16: Letter

"Brother. Yur told me to send this letter to you. Can't they just use a phone to send messages? What era are they living in?" Anya went inside Cain's room with a letter in her hand.

Cain was on the bed, with his phone in hand, he blankly stared at Anya that was complaining before giggling. He then stood up and grabbed the letter from Anya's hand and opened it.

"Well, they told me all kinds of excuses like their phones might be hacked and our conversations going to be leaked and stuff. I can't even retort them because all their reasons are logical for some reason." Cain sighed and read the letter on the paper.

Anya stared at him before quietly sighing and then went out of the room while whistling.

His eyes slowly read the words and sentences in the paper before his eyes became cold. He then took out a lighter from his Inventory and burned the paper, he then wore a suit and a brown coat. Opening the window frame near his bed, he went out of the window and silently closed the frame.

He then jumped down from the roof and climbed up the wall of their house before walking towards who knows where.

Cain walked in the city before entering a old book store. When he entered, he was greeted by the sight of many costumers picking and buying their books. Cain stared at the scene before walking towards the counter where a gentle old man sat as he talked to the costumers.

Cain walked in front of the old man and stared at the old man indifferently.

"Have you seen the stars dyed black?" Cain asked the old man who was surprised by the question that Cain asked.

The old man narrowed his eyes and measured Cain with a slight suspicion on his face before pointing at a door behind him.

"Over there."

The old man pointed at the door before ignoring Cain as he went inside the counter and went inside the door that the old man pointed at.

Cain saw that he was in a dark room with no lights on. He took out a lighter from his Inventory and turned it on so that he could have a small light to guide him in the darkness.

He saw that the room had an elevator inside which had a bunch of multiple colored buttons on the side. Cain walked towards the elevator and tapped the red, orange, white, red, yellow button in a unhurried manner.

Soon, the elevator opened its door, a girl in a red uniform stood on the side of the elevator. Cain went inside and ignored the girl that was too young to work and tapped the most bottom button.

He then calmly stood on the elevator as he felt the shaft slowly going down. The girl looked at him with curiosity in her eyes that it wouldn't be weird if she started to have a conversation with Cain but fortunately, she kept it in inside her and calmly stared at Cain with curiosity in her eyes in silence.

For what it felt like a long time, the elevator's door finally opened. Cain indifferently walked out of the elevator and calmly walked towards the dark abyss. Just when he thought that he was alone in this dark place, a voiced filled with surprise suddenly rang out the room.

"Oh My. I didn't expect that you would visit the Organization today after disappearing for 2 years." A small light could be seen in the darkness.

It slowly became bigger as it closed in towards Cain who was also walking towards the light with an indifferent face. The light then revealed a girl wearing a black evening gown while holding a lantern on her hand appeared infront of Cain.

Cain stared at the girl before sighing. He then flicked the girl's forehead making the girl gasp in pain and cover her forehead with her hand.

"What did you guys do in just the few years that i was gone? And place some lights here, you stupid girls." Cain complained and took the lantern from the girl.

The girl stuck out a tongue before coughing awkwardly. The girl then pointed with her hand and Cain followed her unhurriedly, calmly carrying the lantern as the girl made turns.

The girl stopped infront of a door and opened it. She opened her hand and a small flame appeared above her palm. She then lit the candles inside the room, revealing a cozy and warm bedroom if you ignore the fact that you could barely see infront of you.

The girl smiled and then hugged Cain by the neck. She then casually unbuttoned his suit, revealing part of his chest and his neck which was filled with hickeys, bite marks and nail marks everywhere.

The girl saw all this and gritted her teeth.

"Is that bitch doing this to you? How could she bear to hurt you like this...." The girl asked in anger as her eyes turned into a dangerous glint.

Cain grabbed her hand and got it off him. He then calmly buttoned up his suit and calmly sat down on a chair.

The girl stared at Cain before sitting on his lap, rubbing her chest to his as she hugged Cain by the neck and kissed him, leaving hickeys.

"Stop that. My neck's going to get full of hickeys at this rate." Cain stopped the girl and tried to get her off him. "Where did you even learn this from? You should be 12 this year."

"Im just marking my territory, 1st Big Brother."

The girl pouted before sighing. She retracted her arms that was hugging his neck but still sat on his lap.

"I didn't know that you're such a loyal man." The girl pouted and complained.

Cain blankly stared at her before sighing. Remembering the time when he slept with Tyere, he sighed and blankly stared at the empty space.

"Im not loyal at all. Although Lilith trained me, she can't do something about my natural behavior towards women that i like." Cain calmly answered.

"Anyway. Audrey, what happened to the Organization when i left it to you girls' hands?" Cain asked.

The girl stared at Cain before sighing, she then got up from his lap and dragged a chair infront of Cain, sitting down.

"Well, we made it into a Multinational Organization." The girl, Audrey, smugly said.
