Chapter 18: Audrey and Leila

"Don't you guys have light bulbs here? Its so damn dark here." Cain complained as he followed Audrey to meet the others.

Cain sighed and complained a lot but still followed Audrey. Audrey had a lantern on her hand and stopped in her track, infront of her was a closed door. She used her free hand to open the door .

"Hm? Audrey? Why are you here again...." The girl walked to the door with a complaining voice before she stopped on her tracks.

She stared at Audrey who had a lantern on her hand and then to a man a little taller than Audrey. His long bright brown hair was tied in a short pony tail, his orange eyes stared at her with curiosity in his eyes.

He was handsome, much more handsome than her own boyfriend who was called the City's No.1 Prince.

Cain stared at her curiously and dug through his memories before finally realizing who she was.

"Leila! You're so big now! You were shorter than Luke who was 5 years younger than you!" Cain smiled brightly.

The girl, Leila stared at him with a blank face before a murderous aura oozed out from her. Her hand suddenly moved in fast speed and punched Cain.

Cain chuckled and grabbed her fist.

The air around them vibrated. Cain smiled brightly and sent a kick towards Leila's knee. She saw his legs move towards her feet and jumped, bent her body like a spring, she grabbed Cain by his wrist and tensed her muscles, trying to slam him on the floor.

Unfortunately, Cain was too heavy for her as he casually stood there while Leila constantly pulled his wrist behind her back. Cain smiled and suddenly hugged Leila, making her blush and embarrassed before she flew and crashed on the ground.

Cain, who slammed her on the ground, chuckled at her bewildered expression.

Leila stared at Cain before her eyes watered. Cain was surprised and crouched down on the floor, hughing her while patting her back. Leila cried marble size tear drops as she constantly bit and punched Cain like a child.

They both stayed on this position with Audrey, who also joined because she felt left out, hugging the two of them. After a while, Leila finally calmed down and invited the two of them inside the room.

"So, what brings you here, 1st Brother?" Leila asked as they walked beside each other.

"Well, Yur sent me this letter a while ago, telling me to come to this place and explore it." Cain took out a letter that he had a while ago from his pockets and waved it in the air.

"3rd Sister?" Leila's eyebrows twitched in surpried but her surprised face turned into a cold and mature one as if to hide the previous one.

"Can't you just be happy that 1st Brother came to see us after two years?" Audrey sighed as she watched Cain and the Trying to be Cute Leila, talking.

"Shut up. My Baby Sister must be respectful to her older siblings." Leila answered back.

Audrey scoffed and went inside the room, brushing past Leila who had a smug smile on her face as if she had won.

Cain watched their childish antics before chuckling.

Cain went inside casually like he was entering his own room and marveled at the sight. The room had all sorts of weapons inside. The room was big, almost the size of a gymnasium. A forge was on the corner with a man hammering a molten metal on the anvil.

He followed Leila and Audrey, who walked towards the man. Upon closer look, the man had a beard, his hair was pushed to the back making him look like a lion with a terrifying mane.

The man had a wide shoulders and bulging arm muscles, his stomach was chubby but if you ignore that fact and imagine him without his beard and his belly, he is a charming middle aged man.

He wore what appears to be an apron made of leather, a white sleeveless shirt and brown shorts. The man wore a metal plated boots.

Everytime his hammer that he raised in the air shot down to the metal below him, a loud roar like sound would echo all around the room.

Cain suddenly felt the temperature rising as they walked towards the man. The man ignored them as he focused on his work, no, the man was too focused on his work that he didn't even sense and realized that they were walking towards them.

He constantly hammered the metal as the flames behind him roared.

"This is uncle Joseph, our Master Artisan and the Legendary Blacksmith of this age. He had completed and created countless Legendary Grade weapons and armors, he also managed to create a few Myth Grade items." Leila introduced the bearded blacksmith, Joseph to Cain.

Cain stared at the middle aged man before a smile on his face blossomed. He asked Leila if there was a chair that he could sit on, Leila nodded her head and ran somewhere before comming back with a stool in her hand.

Tang! Tang! Tang!

Cain's smile became wider as he listened to the noise that the hammer and the metal makes when the two of them hit each other. It sounded like a tune to Cain that he somehow enjoyed listening.

He took the stool from Leila and sat infront of the sweating blacksmith, Joseph. He watched the entire thing without any words and admired Joseph's talent and workmanship in blacksmithing.

Tang! Tang! Tang!

Cain's smile became wide as he patiently waited for Joseph to finish his creation. The heat was becoming more hotter and hotter by the second, Cain was sweating, so was Audrey and Leila.

Tang! Tang! Tang!

The two of them went away and cooled down after they tried to make Cain come with them to cool down on the fan that was on the corner of the room. Cain declined their offer and told them that he wanted to admire and watch Joseph work.

Tang! Tang! Tang!

The two understood Cain's intention and walked away. Cain stared infront of him with his eyes focused, the heat was bothering him so he took off his coat and his top, revealing a chiseled and muscular chest.

Tang! Tang! Tang!

Seconds became minutes and minutes became hours. Cain was too focused on watching Joseph work that he didn't show much reaction when Audrey and Leila tried to give him some water for him to drink.

Tang! Tang! Tang!

"Uuuuoooooooohhhh!!!" Joseph suddenly screamed on top of his lungs as Cain clenched his fist, his smile was so wide that it went to his ears.

Joseph was finally done with his new creation from days of work. He held his finished product and lifted it in the air. The product shined and everyone in the room saw something infront of them.
