Tournament day 2

The second day of the tournament started with two fights of people in Dannys' crew.

The first battle, Momotaro versus gods' ears.

tap tap tap tap tap, pshhh.

Momotaro stayed as silent as possible but then his leg got dragged on the ground for too long.

''There you are''

Gods' ears said with a smile and dashed towards Momotaro.

The speed of his movement was unnaturally fast and his hearing was enhanced by his gift but he was blind so if Momotaro could have stayed quiet enough, gods' ears would never have been able to find him.

But now that he has been found, there was nowhere he could run or hide.

As the average looking man in front of him dashed towards him with a greatsword in each hand, he chanted.

''Kenshi no teikō''

And his body started glowing with a golden protective light.

''You think that little shield can stop me!''

Gods' ears laughed and hit Momotaro with one of his swords.

Momotaro was unaffected.

After the sword hit him he let the sword slide off and continued with that movement in order to pierce his opponent's heart.

With his sword's hilt, gods' ears hit Momotaros' hand and diverted it from its' target.

Momotaro turned the direction of his swing upwards and cut gods' ears all throughout his belly and grazed his sharp chin.

''You are not half bad, dude, but I'm still better''

Gods' ears said, dropped his swords, and did a handstand at the same time, from this handstand he moved his legs to create a kick that hit Momotaro directly in his head.

''Yo, sir genius. You forgot something''

Momotaro said and quickly grabbed gods' ears' leg which was in the air and knocked him to the ground.

''With this shield, your attacks don't affect me''

Momotaro finished his sentence and pointed his sword to gods' ears' neck.

''Good job on maintaining a somewhat formal form of speech throughout our fight, you win. I yield''

Gods' ears said.

''The win goes to the Oni slayer!!!''

The announcer yelled out loud and the crowd cheered.

''Well, it was a good fight, my actual name is Momotaro, what's yours?''

Momotaro said as he helped gods' ears to rise back up.

''I'm Mark, nice to fight you''

Gods' ears answered and went back inside the preparation rooms to meet up with his party.

The second battle they had early that day was atlas versus gods' light.

''Luminare won't be happy that I beat the one who inherited his essence. But what shall do?''

Atlas said sarcastically and then he appeared right before where gods' light was.

''I thought the name 'gods' light' would make it obvious that I am as bright as light, as warm as light, and as fast as light''

Gods' light counted his skills proudly as he moved from where he previously was before Atlas could notice.

''Not again, what is with you new gifted that you reveal all your powers at the start of the fight?''

Atlas said in disappointment like a parent who is not angry.

Atlas appeared even faster in front of gods' light before the young gifted could run away and grabbed him by his head.

''I lepída tou ouranoú''

Atlas said and a blade appeared in his hand.

''You know, unlike you, arrogant novices. I trained for years by carrying this lazy, old demon Uranus around because he had a lot of places he needed to show up and I needed both money and training. When I finished my training he gifted me the 'sword of Uranus'. It's' a simple long sword that is told to have been carried by the sky and that it could reach the ground below, I don't believe this story but you should be proud that I will scar you with such a legendary sword so you will never forget your place again''

Atlas said and cut gods' lights' cheek.

''I... I yield''

Gods' light said and Atlas dropped him to the ground.

''Atlas, the hero of the first multi realm war!''

The announcer said and it seemed the cheers from the crowd were never louder.

''Can you please be my master!''

Gods' light ran towards Atlas, bowed, and said.

''Not now, as of now I'm busy, but maybe in the future''

Atlas said coldly and went back inside to meet up with Chaos and the team.

At noon there was another fight for a member of Dannys' crew. Ishtar versus gods' night.

''If you lose, it will be humiliating for you''

Gods' night said.

''I'm okay, I am well aware of your disadvantage but I can't trust it to help me because I don't know the gap between us''

Ishtar said and then chanted.

''Ronahiyê girtin''

And a cage of light formed around gods' night.

''What, no. This ain't fair. I might be able to beat you at noon but not when I'm inside a cage that is made of my greatest weakness!''

Gods' night cried out loud.

''Qefesê bixin''

Ishtar said and the cage started to be dragged by itself towards the edge of the arena.

''No, please. No!''

Gods' night cried but Ishtar couldn't care much less.

After the cage was pushed off the arena, the announcer was surprised by who won.

''The winner is Ishtar Baal!!!''

The announcer yelled but this time the audience cursed at the winner because they lost a lot of money in bets. There were only a few who were happy, and of course, Danny was one of those few who could smell the money going their way.

And that concluded all the fights that Danny's party participated in on the second day.
