Infinite Clones!

Along the path he saw tanned students shuttling between buildings, and decrepit school rooms through the windows. Despite being thousands of years later the facilities were still garbage.

This was because no one in the district was willing to waste their precious resources and time on building a school for some refugees with no talent.

Anyone without benefit will be easily discarded during these times.

The only reason they were willing to build the school that Mark was currently at now, was to train good service staff for the powerful warriors. Also the district required a large amount of clerical workers to keep it running properly. So they trained a large number of poor people in the district and all the refugees for that purpose.

The refugees willingly did it because it provided a decent salary and they cherished the safety of the districts. Most ordinary people wouldn't survive a day out in the wild.

With those thoughts in his head, Mark finally reached the dorm room. Looking up at the tall building made of stone Mark gave a sigh and walked up to his room.

He looked at the number 30100 Mark pushed open the door. Inside the room was a single bed with a 5mx5m space around it. It had an old-fashioned wooden wardrobe with a metal bedside table. There was a small bathroom leading off of the main room with a shower and some small facilities, however there was no kitchen or other utensils.

Every set of 1000 rooms shared a communal kitchen. Altogether the room reminded Mark of a cheap hotel during the 2000's.

At Least the bed was made of a new material that Mark hadn't seen before. When Mark sat on it, it was incredibly comfortable. He couldn't help but close his eyes and fall into a deep sleep.

As he slept he felt himself being pulled into a deeper sleep and heard a faint ringing sound in his head.

'Ding'

'Ding'

'Ding'

'Activating the Infinite Clone System… 1%'

'15%... 46%... 98%... 100%'

Mark only heard an ethereal voice before falling into a deep sleep.

'Congratulations to the host for a successful binding'

Sun broke through the cracks on the wall and showed a tragic scene of Mark laying headfirst on the floor with his legs propped up on the bed. The sheets were ruffled and coloured with a blackish substance.

''Huh?'' Mark opened his eyes and looked at the hardwood floor below him.

Mark rubbed his head as he pushed his body up onto the bed. However he was stunned when he pushed against the now squishy blankets.

''What happened to me?'' Mark whispered. But before he could think it through he heard a slight sound in his head.

'Ding'

'Congratulations to the host for a successful binding'

''Successfully binding what?'' Sam replied to the ethereal voice

[The Infinite Clone System]

''System? What the ****? What do you do?''

[The system requests that the host checks his status to find all relevant details]

''How do I check my status?''

[Please think of the command inside of your head]

''Alright I guess''

'Status'

'Ding'

[Status

Name: Mark Ashfield

Combat Power: 30 (Combat power is the power shown during ordinary attacks, not during special moves. Ordinary person-10)

Cultivation: None

Abilities: Cloning (Ability to split hosts body into multiple forms, hosts combat power will split during each use. So if there is one clone the host will have 50% of the combat power while the clone will have 50% and then 33% if there are 3 clones. After the clones are recalled their actions will affect the host. For example if the clone has been running it will increase the hosts stamina.]

''Incredible! Does that mean if i do push ups with hundreds of clones and get all the benefits?''

[Correct, however the amount of push ups will be decreased as you increase the amount of clones. So if you can normally do 10 you and the clone will only be able to do 5]

''I see, but what is this black stuff on my sheets?''

[It was detected that the hosts genes were unable to hold many memories from future clones so the system has optimised the hosts body. ]

''That must've led to the increase in combat power!''

Mark was originally confused as to why his combat power was so high. The body he had taken over was originally quite powerful but definitely not three times the strength of an ordinary person.

[The host is correct, this also led to an increase in the hosts talent]

''What is the combat power of a Small warrior?''

[Host, there is no specific combat power value of warriors. Various abilities will affect the warriors combat power. The ranks are just a general specification based on the spiritual energy absorbed.]

[However each strand of spiritual energy will increase someone's combat power by 10. And to become a small warrior at Rank 1 they must have absorbed 20 strands of spiritual energy]

''Spiritual energy? How do I absorb that?''

[The host currently has no need for any specific methods to cultivate. Just sit and meditate]

''Can my clones cultivate as well?''

[Yes and it will provide double the speed however the available storage of spiritual energy is limited based on the strength of the clone. However there is no limit for the amount that the host can absorb.]

''Awesome'' Mark rubbed his hands together happily.

'System clone me once'

'Ding'

Mark immediately felt a sense of powerlessness, he knew it was because his strength had been halved. In Front of him a small vacuum of energy was formed quickly creating a variety of shapes.

It was like building a 3D model of a person with no distinct features. Until the final moments a 180cm tall yet naked man looking exactly the same as Mark appeared in front of him.

''Put these on!'' Mark quickly threw the spare set of clothes provided to him by the school, towards the man who quickly put it on.
