The clone that Mark sent out of the school, easily left the gate. But rather than heading towards the outer city, the clone headed towards the best place to spend his credits.
Also known as the commercial street.
It was in the very centre of the city, with bustling crowds dressed in all sorts of clothes. The shops ranged from huge buildings tens of stories tall, all the way down to small stalls set up by commoners selling the most basic commodities.
And this is exactly what the clone wanted however. A lot of coarse outfits made with poor skills, but they are cheap. Extremely cheap.
You can easily buy large stacks of clothes for a smaller price. And that's exactly what Mark did.
(I will start referring to the clones sent out as Mark still, or whatever identity they are going under rather than 'the clone' ; however I will make the distinction as clear as possible in the future.)
For a small price of 500 credits, Mark purchased 200 sets of coarse lined clothes packed densely into a large animal skin bag. This was all done in preparation for when Mark can use more clones.
Slugging the bulging bag over his shoulder Mark continued down the commercial street until he reached a large shop over 5 stories tall.
This was a reputable weapons market within the mercenary community. Selling decent quality weapons at reasonable prices.
As for the weapons shop that provides for noble families, Mark didn't even step near it for obvious reasons.
Mark watched the busy crowds filter in and out of the market with varying powerful auras around them. Luckily he didn't stand out with the large bag on his back.
A lot of hunters with prey hanging off their backs were walking around the streets and people purchased large amounts of products to provide for entire mercenary groups.
Entering the shop mark felt a burst of pressure pushing down on his body, limiting his strength. He knew this was a common situation in shops.
They would have a powerful warrior within the shop to prevent people causing trouble. This is also the background of these large consortiums. Any normal force wouldn't spare a powerful warrior just to watch a shop.
Looking around there were racks of weapons on display and a counter across the longest wall made of a strong resilient stone.
As he watched the weapons glinting, Mark walked up the stairs to the location where all the tablets were. Each tablet was sectioned into a small booth, with a long tube sticking out the top.
As a more advanced system, the shop could facilitate a lot more shoppers than the small market outside the city.
Mark found himself in an empty booth and scanned his watch against a small screen on the door. A light sitting above the door turned from green to read as the door opened and closed behind Mark.
Despite it being a clone, It still contained the memories of the original body. So he naturally understood how to work the tablet and easily found his way to the weapons section.
After earning 50 thousand credits, Mark decided to buy a small amount of better quality weapons. After all, he can't split into that many powerful clones at the moment.
His original body already decided that once he bought enough equipment for hunting he would send a large squad out to fight while his main body attended classes.
His strength was growing too fast, he lacked combat experience that his powerful peers would have. He had already learnt from Leilas lessons that the noble families would often capture weaker creatures for their younger generation to hunt.
The clone out at the commercial market flicked through the list until he finally found his weapon of choice.
Alloyed Steel Spear- 10000 Credits
Alloyed Steel Sword- 10000 Credits
While not as advanced as using beast materials for weapons, the two pieces of equipment were incredibly powerful solely because of a small amount of spiritual metal that was melted into the steel.
It is only a tiny percentage of the sword but it at least tripled its sharpness compared to an ordinary steel sword. Which is why the price increased so dramatically.
Mark gritted his teeth and purchased two spears and two swords. Enough for a small hunting team of 4 to be equipped. This allowed Mark to keep some spare credits in case.
After picking up his purchased products and placing a sword at his waist and the rest in the bag. Mark turned to leave.
However he suddenly thought of something.
The spiritual energy within the cubicle flooded towards his head and slowly formed a pristine white mask covering his face. It completely covered both his eyes and mouth and yet Mark could still see and breathe with no obstruction.
The clone took his own initiative on this one. For the weaker warriors in the city 50,000 credits is a huge sum. If someone saw that Marks clone at this point wasn't extremely strong and was holding so many weapons there's no guarantee he won't be targeted by thieves.
Luckily he didn't worry about the sword hanging on his waist. Unless it was someone with a discerning eye or a special skill it could hardly be separated from an ordinary steel sword.
As for fighting someone with unknown combat power for a single steel sword. It simply wasn't worth it.

Back at the original body, Mark finally opened his eyes after 2 hours of absorbing the crystals. Surprisingly as he got stronger the absorption reached its limit.
It was only then that he realised he had wasted half of the spiritual energy in the crystal the last time that he had absorbed it.
All of the clones sitting around him opened their eyes at this time as well, and Mark finally recalled them.
An incredible amount of energy injected itself into his body, his body finally felt agitated as it circled between each cell in his body, down every vein strengthening them.
If it wasn't for his constant exercise on his main body he might not be able to handle the extreme influx of energy in his body. This reinforced the thoughts in Mark's head that he needs to continue working out his body.
But that was for another day, right now Mark excitedly said,
''Status''
