My new life

"Show me the way out," I said with a dominant voice I learned to use when I was working as a CEO.

"Yes, young miss" Bill replied fast.

Bill began to walk in the direction the magic circle he came from was located. The more he moved the more I thought about how my life as a duchess and the head over the demon race will be and about what more I can do with mana.

Over the next 10 minutes, Bill took out a knife and cut himself so he can bleed a bit then he used his blood to draw a magic circle.

"Yung miss we are finished are you ready to go out," Bill said excited almost like a kid that got his favorite toy to play with.

"Yes let's go out," I said excitedly too.

A light began to emerge as a crack in space began to show itself. Bill said that's the place we need to move towards.

The light began to disappear slowly but surely and we began to see the outside world.

"Wahh" is all I could say at that moment.

I was on top of a big mountain that had a dark rose path for me to walk alone.

"Will you not be coming with me Bill," I asked looking for an answer to the question.

"No miss I will not be coming with you"

"Why"

"Because on the other side of the path, you will find the other supreme children"

(From what I mean with supreme children is the 4 children of gods)

"I see," I said and started to move forward not looking back.

Rin moved thru these dark roses and felt as if they were connected to her in a way. They were dark red and some were black then there were the ones that had blood on them but strangely enough, I don't feel scared or even uncomfortable I feel very calm and clear-headed.

When Rin finally reached the end of the path she saw was and human or something similar to that it had long ears. Suddenly Rin remembered this creature was an elf. Rin observed the elf for a few minutes it was a female elf and she was beautiful. She had long lime green hair that gave you the same feeling as when you are alone under a tree on a summer evening when everything is just going right and everything is working out for once. Her eyes gave the same look a naive defenseless animal would give. Her skin was so smooth it glistened in the sunlight that penetrated the trees to where we were. She was simply breathtaking.

She then shifted her head and looked at me curiously. She moved to me and said.

"Hi..." she said

"Hi I'm Rin"

"Hello I'm mina," she said after a pause

There was an awkward silence after that.

Rin looked around and found there were only 2 ways to this place and it continued forward with the 2 paths merging into one path. The path that continued had both green tees that looked like mid-summer and there were berry bushes and on the other side there were black roses and a bit of flame on them but they still bloomed dutifully.

The 2 girls felt that they should not speak to the other even if they really wanted to. The elf suddenly hugged Rin and asked.

"Are you into women?" she asked bluntly with no shame.

"Y-yes" Rin studders because she is embarrassed and is now blushing.

Rin suddenly realized that her cold attitude in her past life had died with her past but her thoughts we interrupted by an elf.

"I like women too," she said again ever so bluntly.

"Oh did you like women in your past life too?" Rin asked

"Yes I did but it was not accepted and I was killed and now I'm here with you" she steered at Rin for a few seconds with those green eyes of hers and asked how Rin died.

"I died when I was leaving my home," Rin said with a reminiscing expression.

"That must have been horrible," the elf said in shock as she herself died by poison in her sleep.

"No it was actually the best thing that has ever happened to me" Rin smiled and said to the elf while you could see a glint of death in her eyes.

Mina was taken aback by that answer but decided it was safest not to ask any more questions.

Mina began to stare at Rin again and thinking that Rin's looks are unholy. She had the cutest pair of black horns that existed. Her white hair looked like silk and the red on the ends made it perfect the type of perfect that should not exist. Her eyes were cold and warm at the same time and the individual color on each eye just made it better. Her long dark eyelashes looked like small crowns for her eyes. Her skin looked like silk too for that matter but softer like a diamond that was in a fast stream of water for a long time to the point of it being too smooth to exist. Her wings had a majestic look to them with a claw on top.

Mina found herself in awe when looking at Rin with a closer look and finding her so attractive. She decided to keep quiet until she found out more about this world and how they treated people with romantic feelings towards the same sex. She did not want to end up like her last life in a bed. Dead after poison by her own mother to spare face to family and friends.

Mina was also ashamed of the fact that her mother killed her. The person she trusted and cared for the most in the world.

*sigh*

Rin looked at Mina because she was sighing and they were almost at the end of the path.

"Are you ready Mina?" Rin said with a smile"

"Yes I am" she was a bit surprised by hearing her new name out loud by another person but she liked the way it sounded.
