Rin’s journey

Rin stared at the plain blue screen with a big red warning on it. She was trying to calm down her thoughts with all questions but in the end, it was futile. Only one thing kept repeating.


She realized she was wasting precious time. Rin looked around in the room and understood what it was for. She closed the door and went for the seat. She sat down and glanced at the window for the timer.


THE SYSTEM WILL NOW STOP HOSTS MENTAL PROTECTION


A blood shrieking scream could be heard through the soundproof home. All weak demons that heard the scream fell on their knees. The previous clear night turned into an intense thunderstorm. The rain fell fast and hard just like tears from gods.


Rin was alone in a room staring up in the ceiling blood oozing from every possible place in her body. She had just experienced the halt of mental protection.


Her mind was blurry there were too many thoughts to process while she was experiencing death over and over again in a loop. Soon she would start to feel the pain of rebirth and the construction of a new body. The shock of becoming a woman. The disgust on humans and the overwhelming amount of emotions making it hard to process anything right.


A clear thought surfaced in the midst of the torture.


She moved her shaky body with desperation. Her body barely made it up when she fell on her knees again blood still oozing out. Her mind gave up but life would not make it easy for her as she woke right up.


She then tried to bite her tongue and choke on her own blood but it didn't work out. She then began hitting her head violently on the floor again and again over and over begging for everything to just disappear and not come back. Of course, this didn't work either but now the room was painted in blood splashes.


Rin suddenly lost all power in her body everything she had left. She is now helpless on the floor being tortured in a mental prison her body breaking down and reconstructing. Rin couldn't even scream in agony anymore. Her vision was red as blood was in the way of everything.


The almost dead Rin is on the floor in the darkroom. A pool of blood around her body. Her finger started to twitch. Rin let out a light-grown. She could not move her body good but well enough to move into a fetal position.


She was crying in that position to let out everything that she went thru. Rin then got the ability to move her body more. She limped into the bathroom so she could take a wash.


In the shower, she washed the blood off her body. Her clean body began to show again. She had a cold almost emotionless look again. Her emotions got stripped off her.


The mental protection had blocked almost all of her questions and made her emotions amplified this made her naive and vulnerable like a child. While she still had some emotions they were almost all gone.


She left the shower and looked at herself in the mirror. Her cold and lifeless eyes stared back at her. she then heard a ding.


EVERYTHING THAT GETS DEVOURED INCREASES THE POWER OF THE HOSTS DARKNESS


*What is this and how is it powered* is what Rin wondered while trying to touch it. Her hand went straight thru it. She then remembered how in her past life she read about something like this it was called isekai and this is a system that one gets in reincarnation.


Then picked up her clothes and put them on. The sun started to rise it was delightful as every sun rise and sunset is.
