Meeting Aftermath I

With his mind already focused on his free time and holidays, Jun quickly decided to rush through the last two tasks he had to get done before he was released from his work related obligations.

Introducing Manaka to the group was unexpectedly simple and easy. She was confident, powerful, devoted to Jun despite only having just met him, and most importantly, she had some screws missing, being more than a little "cray, cray", meaning she fit right in the group.

Manaka herself was quite shocked seeing the absolute powerhouses that Jun had gathered around himself but also felt a bit like "As expected from the man I chose!".

Being surrounded by so many powerful and distinguished figures and becoming aware of the unspoken competition between the girls vying for Jun's affections, Manaka got right to work in creating a foothold and strengthening her position for a possible future rise.

She base magical might was high and she was talented to a degree that put even Age of Gods magi to shame so she decided to put her mind to refining her talents.

After all, now that she had real competition that was, for now, so far ahead of her, Manaka's competitive instincs and drive to be better were awakened with full force.

Morgan and Scathach were both Jun's wives and powerful magi, the mightiest in Jun's group. They both had very different styles of Magecraft and Manaka, being the bearer of an all abrangent talent when it came to the magical arts, decided to ask both for their teachings.

Neither of them was particularly interested however, Manaka was going to be a part of Jun's forces and her talents meant she could one day by a key element and so, they both felt a duty as his wives to let her bloom into something more useful for him.

Manaka realized why she was accepted but it only raised her opinion of Jun based how he had tamed these powerful and dignified women to the point their were willing to forgo their personal preferences a bit just for him.

But also, wishing to be integrated into Jun's harem, Manaka vowed to impress the two ladies and make them revise their opinions of her by awing them with her talents.

Alas . . . One of her teachers was Scathach and the Queen of Dun Scaith rarely, if ever, taught only magecraft to those that came under her tutelage. Now, that was only part of the package, the other part being copious amounts of physical and combat training.

And so, Manka's hell she she did not believed she had signed up for began . . .

As for Jun, after properly introducing Manaka to the group, at least those that were around, he gathered his wives to speak of them about his rather impactful encounter, but not before activating any and all defensive measures Domina Coronam had and leaving them active, even if it slowed down his ascension by a marginal amount.

This of course drew the attention of all those inside since Jun never had those systems active ever since he had driven Domina Coronam into the Root of Akasha, outside space and time where no one could reach and thus, no defensive systems were required.

Still, "Jun must have his reasons. Maybe he is doing some tests." They all thought something along those lines and paid little mind to the change.

However, since it happened right after he had called his wives for a meeting, the group of four felt it was related and what ought to be a routine exchange of latest news of events turned into something more serious for all of them.

Soon, they arrived at the Crown of Magecraft: Lemegeton, namely, at the Ars Paulina temple/workshops where Jun did most of his work when he was not in any of the two Worlds he had access to.

In truth, he had just arrived there himself since in his current state, he had to be present in the central Crown, the Crown of the END: Babel, in order to control Domina Coronam at a sufficient scale and level to turn on all of its defences.

"What is the matter husband? Is this discussion related to the reason you shored up our defences?" Penthesilea asked. She was the most proactive when it came to battle.

Cleria preferred diplomacy, Scathach enjoyed a good scrap but saw fit to leave the fighting to those who could learn and grow from it since she was already far beyond that realm.

As for Morgan, she was high and mighty, trifles did not concern her so she only moved when the problem became big enough to warrant personal intervention.

It was one of her flaws no doubt, and part of the reason for her death in the British Lostbelt since it was that kind of attitude that allowed Oberon Vortigern to success in his schemes to bring about her demise.

Penthesilea however, was a warrior queen full of initiative and preferred to lead her host from the front line. She didn't go out much but she was in charge of strategic defense in case deployment of forces was necessary and Jun was no available for some reason.

Back to her question however, Jun promptly yet vaguely replied.

"Partly."

Penthesilea gave him an unimpressed look that convinced him it was in his best interest to quickly elaborate and stop with the dramatic pauses.

And so, he went over his encounter with [Shiki], how she orchestrated their meeting, what her intentions, atr least the ones she claimed were and most importantly, what she had been doing for quite a while now.

Jun shared everything, including his own thoughts and evaluations of the matter in a concise, truthful and precise manner, not concealing his mistake in the slightest or trying to make himself look better or not as bad.

The four women were his wives and if he wanted their honest council, which he did, doing things as such was a must.

Cleria was worried but also mildly relieved since it didn't seem that this [Shiki] individual had any ill intent and Jun told them he believed as such despite also wanting their appraisal of the situation.

The other three however . . . To say they were pissed . . . Would be a massive understatement.
