FOR THE THIRD CUP

Viktor looked at William with brooding expression in his dark eyes. A small sigh escaped his lips as he turned his attention back to the race. "You knew." It wasn't a question that needed confirmation from William but a statement.

"I have been in the police force for several years and I've seen thousands of criminals over the years, not that I thought of her as a criminal, but small gestures and expressions could give someone's lies away." William responded with his yes trailing on Sofia's car. His finger was tapping on the soft couch, mirroring the nervous beating of his heart. He was terrified for her. He was anxious. Every single time she nears a car, just few inches before she crashes on it, she'd subtly move to the side before speeding away.

"So?"

"What do you mean 'so'?"

"So, why are you still approaching her? Why are you still befriending her? Just so you know, my sister deals betrayal the hard way. She won't just cry and smile at you."
