Gyatso and Poseidon 2

Gyatso was in an arranged marriage, but not a single day passed that he did not go to the ocean, the place where he first saw the siren that made his heart beat and also where he last saw it. The sea's throbbing heart generates a gentle surge, and the waves falling onto the coast have that ancient alchemy of purr-and-pound. As they uncoil, it's as if an old vellum parchment is unrolling in front of Gyatso's eyes.

His eyes moved from the stones to the ocean. Gyatso shaded his eyes from the glowing full-moon and looked out to the ocean again. His eyes are drawn to the dot in the sky. He saw someone swimming not far from his place. He no longer expected it to be Poseidon and just followed it with his gaze, but as time went on, Gyatso could no longer just watch it and he did not realize that he was swimming closer to it. Gyatso was surprised by what the siren did. It left a call that echoed in the emptiness of this place.

"This is the kingdom of Poseidon and you should not be here." Gyatso suddenly froze when he suddenly heard what the siren said to him. The siren suddenly flicked his fingers and as soon as Gyatso opened his eyes, he was no longer in the ocean water. He's sitting on the rock again. He stood up suddenly because he knew he was in the ocean water because he followed the siren. He looked around and even managed to pinch himself and realized that everything that had happened earlier was true. Gyatso started walking towards home when he heard people whispering at each other as if they were talking in secret. But even though they were whispering, Gyatso could still hear their conversation.

"It's their business, I shouldn't listen." He already started to make his way home but stopped when he heard the two men mention the 'siren'. He stopped and decided to listen to the conversation of the two people.

"Let's just sell it, we'll earn a lot of money." said a bald man.

"Let's kill them, sirens, plagues here with us." said a man talking to him. They argued for a long time before deciding to just kill the siren.

"Who's the siren they're referring to? I hope it's not Poseidon. But even if they're not talking about Poseidon, I still have to help that siren." Gyatso secretly followed the two men. The two men entered an old house not far from Gyatso's house. Gyatso waited for the right time before entering. He was shocked when he saw the siren that was full of wounds, as if they were torturing her. Her two hands were chained.

The bald man poured water on the siren, which Gyatso had heard earlier that he wanted to sell the siren. The siren didn't move even though she was now soaked with water. The bald man approached him angrily and raised the siren's face so that they could face each other. Tears continued to seep down Gyatso's cheeks, but he didn't sob when he saw that the siren they wanted to kill and sell was Poseidon. Gyatso looked around, and when he noticed that the other man was not around, he quickly picked up the wood log that was just next to him and beat the bald man with it.

He did not stop beating it, but the bald man's body was like a rock and was not affected. The man confronted him and they fought for the wood log that Gyatso was holding, and unfortunately, the bald man managed to get the wood log from Gyatso. The bald man broke the wood log he had taken from Gyatso. Gyatso stepped back, balancing his weight on his left foot, thinking of some strategy to beat the man, and suddenly he threw his right fist out in a curved punch at the man's temple. Turning ninety degrees to the side, the bald man brought his right forearm up to counter the blow, formed a fist with his left, and threw it at his outstretched jaw. Gyatso knew he was in trouble.

Poseidon looked at the two men and noticed that Gyatso had no chance of winning against the bald man. Poseidon would have thought of singing to get the bald man's attention, but she couldn't because her mouth was covered. When the man was about to hurt Gyatso, the pearl on the bracelet suddenly glowed, too bright, which caused the bald man's eye to bleed because of what he saw. Even with Poseidon's mouth covered, you can tell she's smiling, because the pearl he gave Gyatso when he was a child is the one that protects him now.

Gyatso quickly broke the chain that was chaining Poseidon's hand. He also removed the cloth that's covering its mouth, lifted Poseidon, and brought her into the ocean immediately, because its life would not last if it was not taken to the ocean immediately, because she had been out of the ocean water for how many days.

"Are you alright?" Gyatso asked Poseidon worriedly.

"Yeah, my wounds will heal down when I'm in the ocean." said Poseidon.

"T-thank you," Poseidon said while smiling at Gyatso as a sign of gratitude. Poseidon wiped the tears from the young man's eyes.

"W-why? Why are you crying?" She worriedly asked.

"I-I thought you left me." Poseidon smiled at Gyatso's answer to him. Gyatso, on the other hand, accelerated his run so that they could reach the ocean immediately. When they reached the ocean, Gyatso slowly threw Poseidon into the water.

"Why would I leave you if I promised we would meet again when there was a full moon?" she said while looking at the full moon. Poseidon's wounds slowly heal when she's in the ocean water.

"You know the pearl you gave me? This protected me twice already." Gyatso caressed the pearl on his bracelet that saved him from his near-death experience. Poseidon smiled and also held the pearl she had given to Gyatso when he was still a child.

"Gyatso!"
