After arriving back at the castle, Thragnor decided to clean up all the mess before the kid enviable came back. Starting with the hall, he began to grab any item on the tables, only for them to disappear as soon as his hands touched them.
Humming a little song, he moved towards the library, checking that the rune array he set up kept people from taking or damaging any books inside. While it might not be his best work, he was still proud as it still stands to this day.
Happy with his array, he departed towards a part of a castle that Myrddin didn't explore, entering a room that seemed to hold a forge. The interior of the room was adorned with all kinds of weapons swords, axes and bows all hung on stands
If anyone were to see the weapons inside the room, they would be shocked at how beautifully designed and powerful they are.

(Thragnor pov)
After cleaning up the castle, I started to think. I don't know how long I was asleep, nor do I know how the outside world looks. From looking at Myrddin's clothing, it doesn't seem to have been a long time.
Sighing to myself, I sit on my throne on the high table.
'It seems my plan to sleep until the outside world changed has failed.'
Drumming my fingers on the table, I start to think about what I should do. I had a few options I could choose from.
First, I could go back to sleep and wait until somebody else found me. The main problem with this is the lack of evidence telling me what the outside looks like. For all I know, Myrddin might just come from a place that hasn't changed its style of clothes in decades, so I probably won't try this again for a while.
My next option would be to explore the world and see if anything has changed, whether that be magic or people in general, but again, I probably won't do this as it could turn out nothing has changed, and it would only serve to waste my time not that I'm running out of it.
Guess the only thing left I can do is carry on my research into magic and live a life of dullness, ha. Who am I fooling? I'm not going to do that shit; I would instead do nothing and stare into space for the rest of time. Now that I say it, that doesn't sound so bad ill give that a go for a bit.

(Myrddin's POV)
After I retold the castle's events to mother, she forbade me from leaving the cottage for a whole week and forced me to do chores the entire time.
During my punishment, I had time to think about what happened and managed to conclude that Thragnor was a (Viking) that had shipwrecked near the castle and was now inhabited it.
Though there were still a few holes in my assumption, there just wasn't enough evidence or clues the come to a reasonable hypothesis on the matter; thus, I decided to go back to the castle as soon as mother let her guard down.
--------- 1 month later ---------
(general POV)
Inside the great hall sat upon his throne was the figure of Thragnor, though if one were to look closely at him, they would be surprised as all he seemed to be doing was gazing into the open hall without blinking.
It was a confusing sight as no ordinary man could be so stationary and motionless yet still be alive at the same time, yet here was such a person though calling Thragnor ordinary isn't right.
Having come from a humble farm, he demonstrated skill and intellect above those of the village at a young age, often helping those with any problems. In turn, this gained him the love of all the villagers.
*Knock Knock Knock*
Being brought out of his 'state.' Thragnor stands up and starts to head towards the castle's door, changing into another outfit on the way; this time, it is made up of bone and hides, making him look barbaric.
Reaching the entrance, Thragnor pauses for a moment, seeming to be in a mental debate with himself before hitting his hand on his palm, and with a happy expression, he opens the door.

(Myrddin POV)
For the past month, mother has done nothing but keep an eye on me to make sure I don't take off, so in the end, I asked her if she could come with me to the castle. That way, she wouldn't be worried.
So that was how we ended up here in front of the castle door, knocking.
"Are you sure this is fine, myrdd?" asked mother in a worried tone for the tenth time since we arrived on the island.
"Yes, mother, he might seem a little weird and dress funny, but he doesn't seem to be a -----" I was cut off mid-sentence as the door started to creak open.
"Who, goes, there!" A deep voice came from inside. The voice sounded like that of the Cornovii tribe that lived not far from the village.
As the door slowly creeps open, mother seems tense and reaches into her pouch. Until fully revealed is Thragnor in hides and bones. He was holding a giant club and appeared to have an angry expression.
Once he was revealed, mother pulled out a short wooded stick, pointing it towards Thragnor and pulling me behind her.
"Who are you?" mother said in a cold and sharp tone whilst slowly making the distance between them larger this entire time; Thragnor seemed to be unbothered by anything that happened and kept speaking in the same voice.
"I, Thragnor! Thragnor, the, wise!" The air seemed to boom with each word he spoke, though if one was to look at him they would think he was anything but wise.
"Mother, all though different, he is the same man I told you about a month ago" I tried to soothe mother, but Thragnor wasn't of much help as he kept chewing on some meat he pulled out from who knows where and making a mess everywhere.
Though still wary of him, mother lowered the weird stick in her hand; what did she think it would do anyway? Before she took a breath and looked at Thragnor.
"Mister Thragnor, this is my mother, Aela Wyllt," I said, trying to keep the good mood going, but it seemed I had failed as while saying mother's name Thragnor had a slight look of grief in his eyes before returning to normal and greeting mother with a smile.
"Nice to meet you, Lady Wyllt," Thragnor said, dropping whatever act he seemed to be performing, his club disappearing mid-sentence as his clothes changed back into his jester outfit.
"Would you like to come inside?"

A/N: hello, sorry for my lack of updates recently; I had thought work would calm down during winter (I work on a campsite); however, I didn't account for 100mph winds to knock down a few trees (7), so I've been raking and moving logs for the past few weeks and coming home tired.
And it seems I will be doing more of the same for a while, so ill try to update whenever possible thanks for the support.
