Chapter 61

Haley glanced at the stuff animal, but she kept on walking as Marcus approached the student running the stand that had the stuff animal. She then arrived at Ana's memorial as she looked her picture and then lowered her head out of respect. Marcus then stood next to her with the stuff animal in his hand as he showed respect to Ana's memorial.

"Can we talk?" Marcus asked.

"I'm in a decent mood. So make your point across, moron." Said Haley.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for not saying goodbye. I'm a crappy brother for letting you guys worry about me so much. Just know that I was trying keep my distance. Because of what I was to the tribe. I thought I was a nuisance to the family and that's why I left the way I did." Said Marcus.

"Do you think we gave a crap what the tribe thought, dumbass!? Yeah, they made our family go through so much stupid crap. But we would've dealt with it for you! Why do you have to act so tough and selfish and not say anything. We're family, right? Talk to us, stupid! I wanted you around! We all did!" Haley sobbed quietly as she threw weak punches at Marcus.

Until she stopped as Marcus hugged her, while she cried on his shirt. But she punched him on the side as he it kind of hurt him.

"Dumbass." Said Haley.

"I get it. I'm an idiot." Said Marcus.

Meanwhile, we see Isaac breathing heavily as he was with Abe, training him. They were sparring as Abe looked concern for him, while Yuko was watching from the side.

"Uh, we can stop if you like, Isaac." Said Abe.

"Yeah, you look really tired." Said Yuko.

"Yeah, thanks." Said Isaac.

"Is the training with your grandmother and Mr. Gurerro that intense?" Abe asked.

"Yeah, I'm learning to using my mana and my life force better at the same time. It takes a lot out of me. And both of them don't like holding back." Said Isaac.

"If you like, I can help train Abe." Said Yuko.

"You'd do that?" Abe asked, surprised.

"Yeah, why not?" Said Yuko.

"Thank you! I appreciate it." Said Abe.

"Thanks, Yuko." Said Isaac.

"No problem. But you rest up a bit, okay?" Said Yuko.

"Alright. (But I have to train hard. I know something's coming soon. And I don't want what happened to Ana happen to anyone else I know.)" Said Isaac.

It would be the next day as the arena was full again, since it was the last day of the tournament games. Everyone was watching as even the security was watching as we see the students walk out in gym sweat clothes. They stood in each corner as Merlin's magic clone appeared in the middle, while everyone's family was watching.

"Welcome again, Ladies and Gentlemen to the last challenge of the Tournament Games! Our students have gone through a lot this past week! And today, we end this tournament the old fashion way! Students verses students!" Merlin shouted.

The crowd cheered as the gang looked anxious, but serious looks. Isaac watched from a TV as he was with his grandmother and Carol in his dorm. He looked a bit uncomfortable, while Carol served tea to them as Summer sipped from her cup.

"But here are the rules for this challenge. We will go in this order of schools. Thunderbird, San Teresa, North Winchester and Salem. You will choose what team you would like to face. We will let the team to pick to fight a leader or a member. For members, it will be randomized pick. And for defeating a member, the winning team takes away a point from the losing team and adds it to the winning teams points. But if you win a fight against a leader, who can only fight once, you gain two points. Any weapons are allowed. Each fight has a 5-minute time limit. If there are ties, all points remain the same. And we be going three times. So there will be 12 fights in total." Said Merlin.

"Great, we can lose points." Said Jasper.

"So we have to win to just gain or maintain our points." Said Franklin.

"Talking about raising the stakes." Said Violet.

"Now, Thunderbird goes first. What school do you want to face first?" Merlin.

Hunter and his team whispered to each other as they nodded in agreement. Hunter then pointed at Team North Winchester, while stood with him.

"Team Winchester! And we choose only a member." Said Hunter.

Merlin then made the screen show the pictures of team North Winchester members spin like a slot machine as it stopped on Patricia Irons. Patricia stepped up while Logan Smith stepped up for Team North Winchester. He and Patricia meet at the middle of the arena as he looked down at Patricia as she was tiny compared to him.

"You're a big lad." Said Patricia.

"I hear that a lot." Said Logan.

"But I've faced bigger." Said Patricia.

"Alright, no foul play. Let's make this a fair fight. Ready?" Merlin asked.

Logan summoned a lumber jack axe to his right hand, while Patricia fused with one of her dragon. She fused with an Earth Armored Drake as she was taller and bigger had earth armor on her body.

"Ready!" Said Logan and Patricia.

"Fight!" Said Merlin.

Patricia bolted into Logan as he used his axe to absorb most of the impact. She pushed him back as Logan slid back, while Patricia jumped at him as she swung down at him. Logan swung his axe at her arm, knocking it away. He pointed his back at her as she landed on him. Logan withstood her weight as everyone was surprised. Logan then grabbed onto her and hurled her over his shoulder, slamming her down to the ground. He then swung his axe down at her as she unfused and rolled out of the way. She made distance as she had a serious look, while Logan spin his axe with just one hand.

"Clair, who is that young man?" Merlin asked.

"Logan Smith. He comes from a family of lumberjacks. He and Hunter are distant relatives. And they both train together. Hunter is stronger than him, but Logan is a close second. Feeling, nervous, Al?" Clair asked.

"Hmph, I have faith in my students. (But I am a bit concern. Patricia, though is able to fend for herself. Her fusions don't last too long.)" Said Alastair.

Patricia then switched to a fire dragon and flew in the air, making more distance. She then inhaled and breathed out a large stream of fire at him. Logan gripped his axe with both hands and swung his axe, splitting the stream in half as the flames blew away from him. Patricia then flew around him, firing fireballs at Logan as he split them in half with each swing. Patricia dove towards him, spinning around to build up momentum and swung her foot at him. But he blocked her leg with his right arm and then punched her in the face. Patricia was knocked back but recovered as she slid back a few feet. She placed her hand on her cheek as the shock of his fist was too much for her scales to absorb.

"He's really strong. I can't beat him. My only chance is to run out the time. And we only have a minute left." Patricia thought in her mind.

But Logan charged towards her at full speed as she realized he mobility was slow. Patricia unfused as she was her normal self, catching her team off guard.

"W-What is she doing?" Oliver asked.

"No. She's tamed a lot of dragons. But for being overgrown lizards, they are fast." Said Faye.

Logan swung at her as Patricia dodged the axe and quickly jabbed at Logan's left arm. Logan swung at her again as she successfully dodged again and jabbed at his right arm. Logan saw that she was trying to hurt this arms, so that he can lose power and speed to waste more time. But he then tossed his axe at her as she instinctively dodged it. But Logan charged into her as both their hands meet and fended each other back. Patricia was holding her own, but you could see her veins bulge as she was giving it her all, while Logan was slowly pushing her down to her knees.

"Man, for a little lady. You're really strong." Said Logan.

"Th-Thanks. But this isn't anything compared to what my dragons can do!" Said Patricia.

Suddenly, the horn went off as Logan stopped, while Patricia was relieved.

"There was no victors! All points remain the same." Merlin announced.

Clair was surprised, while Alastair had sweated up a storm, but calm down as he dapped his face with a handkerchief. Patricia was panting heavily, but Logan held his hand out to her as she looked up to her.

"Good fight." Said Logan.

"Thank you." Said Patricia as she took his hand.

"I have to admit that you are really strong. I wasn't expecting that for a cute girl like you." Said Logan.

"(Snort) Oh, you're too kind. Stop." Said Patricia, bashfully and adorkably.

"Alright, then! San Teresa!" Said Merlin.

Enrique chatted with his team as he then pointed at team Salem.

"Team Salem and against a member." Said Enrique.

The screen spin pictures of the gang as it then stopped on Jasper's picture as he stepped, while for team San Teresa, Alicia Martinez stepped.

"Jasper, she's a Mexican witch. Be careful. Her magic is likely to be able to hurt you." Said Scarlet.

"Thanks for the tip. Wish me luck, guys." Said Jasper.

"Good luck!" Said Garry.

"You got this, bro!" Said Franklin.

Jasper walked over as Alicia walked over as well as they met in the middle.

"Alright, no foul play. Let this be a fair fight." Said Merlin.

"Right." Said Jasper.

"Of course. But be ready. I don't intend to lose this fight. Enrique is watching. I cannot let him down." Said Alicia.

"Okay." Said Jasper, feeling awkwardly.

"Ready?" Merlin asked.

Jasper stood ready with his hands in his pockets, while Alicia waved her hand across her face as a day of the dead mask appeared on her face as her eyes glowed. Her hands ignited with blue-green flames as Jasper started to look concern.

"Fight!" Merlin shouted as the fight was about to begin.
