Just as with the water wave, Zexi's attack had targeted the precise weak points in the sharkmen's defenses. Her speed and power had been so overwhelming that they had never stood a chance.
She reappeared without so much as a drop of blood marring her pristine form, her expression one of mild boredom.
"Really now," Zexi sighed, brushing an imaginary speck of dust from her sleeve. "Is this the best this realm has to offer? I was hoping for at least a bit of a workout."
The two remaining sharkmen, driven mad with fear and rage, unleashed their mightiest technique. A colossal vortex of water essence energy began to form, threatening to become a cyclone capable of drowning entire worlds. The very fabric of space began to warp and twist, unable to withstand the primordial forces being unleashed.
But even this last, desperate gambit was doomed to failure.
