Aya

Aya wakes up to the sound of her phone ringing.

"Who is calling me?," she asks in a disgruntled tone.

She declines the call without checking and rolls over in her bed.

[Why do I even exist] she thinks as she stares at the ceiling.

[What if I didn't exist? Would the world cease to exist? I am the main character after all.]

Aya gets up and brushes her teeth before sitting at her desk. She turns on her pc, puts her headset on, and gets on her favorite first person shooter game.

"Of course none of my friends are online," she says to herself.

She queues a lobby solo with her mic off.

[Domination? This will be great for leveling up weapons.]

The game goes on and Aya remains bored.

When the match is finished, Aya closes the game, takes off her headset, and leans back in her chair.

[Is every day going to be this boring?]

She gets up and gets back in her bed. Pulling up the covers and laying down, she heads back to sleep.
