Gone

The black shadow hanging on the church was staring at Pierce with its scarlet eyes. Its mouth seemed to be cracked open, as if it had been sliced by a sharp blade.

Pierce squinted and released his divine power into the lantern. Soon, with the intense light, everything around him was as clear as day.

The figure seemed to be searching for food when it decided to target Pierce's group.

Pierce's group was not afraid at all. After all, they were not humans, so they naturally did not feel any fear, except for Pierce.

He had not completely broken away from the ranks of humans. He was still transforming, so his heart beat faster when he saw the creature.

Both sides stood still. Pierce looked up at the figure hanging on the church and was lost in thought.

He could feel that he was no match for this shadow.
