A boy named Eli, a teenage boy lives a hunter-gatherer lifestyle among the people of his village.



Eli and his people live the way of nature and live the way to honor the sanctity of life. However, when his thirteenth birthday marks the start of his agoge, a rite of passage from boy to man, he must earn his mark as a Kalorian. The mark that will prove his right to continue as a hunter by day and warrior for life.
