Tammy Never Happy To See Me.

Mei excuses herself and run out of the lobby.

"Well, that just happened."

Tammy returns me a groan, "it's no one's fault."

"I know, parents got to do what they have to do."

She looks at me with disgust, "I'm not her parents."

"Not in my eyes," I shrug. "To me you'll be a better mother."

"What do you mean?"

Woah. She stretches her fingers as if the next mistake I make with my word I'll get the taste of what a formal cop's fist is like. No need, the palm is enough, thank you.

"Well…" the glass door still holding a silhouette of the frail girl, waiting for me. "If her 'real' mother is a real good one, then why is she not here when Mei needs someone the most?"

"What do you know about Mei?" Her glare turns into anticipation, "did she tell you?"

"Tell me what?"

"Everything?"

I chuckle, "why? Afraid I'll snatch her away from you?"

"She wouldn't want a man anyhow."
