Enclophobia

Everyone's faces were distorted, you know that feeling you get when you lose something you really, really care about that was exactly it, the room was filled with dispare and the atmosphere was very sullen with worry.

"Madam is here alongside Ms kylie and Mr Mark" one of the security guards informed the sorrowful crowd.

"Where is she?" asked a man wearing a plain white shirt with three of his buttons loose and was none other than Andrew (Kylie's Dad).

Infact, he was not the only worried one, everyone in the room had worried expressions, some even had their wigs and extensions taken off, they were all feeling heat despite the intense cooling system.

"Dad, I'm over here" Kylie finally had the chance to speak when Sherry left to go talk to the police commissioner.

She immediately ran to embrace her worried dad, Andrew in a hug.

"My little girl, where were you? what if something happened to you?" he questioned as he hugged her tighter.

"Dad, dad, I can't breathe" Andrew's hug was getting a bit too tight.

When they pulled apart, so many people paraded Kylie with questions.

"Kylie where were you?"

"Kylie are you ok?"

"Kylie"

"is everything alright?"

"Kylie?" most of the people questioning her were mostly nosy neighbours, worried relatives or reporters looking for a juicy story.

But one way or the other it was still a crowd, maybe it was the repeated questions or just the environment, one of the two made Kylie feel nauseated until she couldn't take it anymore she fainted on the spot.

Mark, who was right beside her immediately caught her, then carried her up to her room, princess style.

"Everyone should leave!" ordered Andrew before heading upstairs to Kylie's room.

******

"How is she doctor?" asked Andrew

"I can't say for sure, we need her to be awake first" replied the family doctor, Dr Angela.

"Is she gonna be alright?" asked Sherry

"Don't worry she's in a good condition right now" Dr Angela responded with a reassuring nod.

Right now everyone including Alexis, Shawn and Mark who is sitting beside her on her bed waiting for her to wake up.

After a few minutes of waiting, Kylie finally regained consciousness, they decide to let her rest for a while before the doctor came to check up on her.

Dr Angela did a few basic test like checking her heart rate, her eyes, her breathing, stuff like that before proceeding to asking Kylie a few questions.

"Can you please explain what happened to you earlier before you fainted?" Dr Angela asked

"I felt.. nervous, I was having like serious anxiety... my heart was racing, I felt dizzy and just plain suffocated" Kylie replied trying to find the right words

"Right" Dr Angela never stopped taking notes

"So is there like a trigger? a reason why this happens" Dr Angela continued with her questions.

"Well actually it only happens around crowds" Kylie responded

"Crowds?...hmm ok" she seemed to have found the reason as she stopped taking notes instead she handed the notes over to her assistant and asked him to prepare a diagnosis report.

"(Breathes out) so what do you do in those situations?"

"Honestly I try my best to avoid these situations, I do not go to the mall, clubs or attend meetings with lots of board members, practically any crowded places" Kylie stated honestly she had no reason to hide it anymore after what happened today

"Have you had any serious cases where you start to cry or you just pass out like you just did today?"

"hmm... yeah, there was one time I cried but today I just....." before she could finish her sentence she felt dizzy.

"Careful" said the worried friend, Mark

Hearing his voice Kylie soon came to realise everything that had happened today, including...

Kylie bore her eyes into his she could feel the worry inside his mesmerising blue irises, she felt something that she couldn't explain

"So what's wrong with her doctor" Shawn said bringing her back to reality

"Well I can't say for sure but through my past experiences, I would say she has Enclophobia" answered the doctor

"Enclophobia?, what's that?" Andrew asked

"Enclophobia also know as fear of crowds is an anxiety disorder" emphasized Alexis, she had an history in both medicine and psychology.

"That's right, and in Kylie's case it's quite serious" Dr Angela concluded Alexis's words as she stood up from her sit.

"So what's the solution?"asked Mark in a very worried tone.
