Battle of Luxor and the Demon Realm

Cleo creates a barrier over Luxor to protect it, but not before a few managed to sneak in before it was completely closed. Gowther tried to read the minds of the attackers, but their minds are blocked. The Britannian ladies, including Margaret, make sure that everyone, especially children, take shelter inside the barrier. Iris (Scout) leaps into action with Gowther close behind. Both she and Cleo are shocked to see goddesses attacking them as the goddess clans of Egypt and Turkey are their friends and allies. Gowther quickly realizes that some of these goddesses are from the Britannian clan, which surprises him, since the goddess and demon clans called a truce.

Iris just stares up at them, as in a psychic glare. The attackers in front of her stop. Even with her face covered, they can tell that she must be making eye contact and glaring at them, somehow striking fear into them. One male goddess snaps out of it and attacks with a giant ark, as does the one next to him. Gowther redirects the ark aimed at him, while Iris just stands there, then puts her hand out at the last possible second. The ark dissipates.

"Counter vanish?" says a goddess in shock" "but he's human!" 

"Let me try." A strange being who looks human with gray skin on top but has the legs of an ostrich, as well as an elephant face and trunk actually sticking out of the abdomen, steps forward.

"Aw...aw...AW-CHEW!" A giant cannon ball shoots out of the trunk heading straight for Iris. She jumps into the air and grabs it with her bare hands, then throws it high up into the air where it explodes.

Gowther gasps, he wasn't expecting her to be that strong. "Sacred treasure, twin-bow Herritt, Invasion Game."

Purple light arrows hit every opponent. It seems to have no effect on them and some even laugh.

"I'll go next, Rosetta Stone!"

A giant, thick stone which looks like a typical head stone appears, aimed for Iris. She huffs, shakes her head, and jumps into the air, punching the stone and reducing it to rumble.

"My turn!"

"Wait a second, what are we doing? Everyone, attack!"

Everyone attacks at once, but several attacks hit their comrades as they get in each other's way. They start mindlessly competing and arguing with each other. Unknown to them, while Gowther can't currently read their thoughts, he can still mess with their minds. Suddenly, they sense something massively strong and what appears to be a flood of yellow mass grabs them both and starts chocking them, as well as knocking all the other 'fighting' attackers out of the way. The mass appears to be massive amounts of hair. It's stronger than steel and shapes itself into sledgehammers, hitting them both repeatedly. They can both sense that the hair does contain extremely high levels of magic, but also some devil's anti-magic and is gathering physical energy from the atmosphere as well.

"Well well, what have we got here?" comes a voice in Britiannian. Some of the hair moves like curtains to reveal a gorgeous woman with a ridiculous hour-glass figure and privative clothing, or lack of. Her aura is that of a goddess, but her four goddess wings are black, plus she has two much smaller wings shaped like those of a bat or devil creature. Her power level is near equal to that of Meliodas at his normal level, even armed with his sacred treasure.

The goddess sets part of her hair on fire. "Oh, lovely flames, engulf my beauty and gorgeous hair in your light."

The flames head for Iris, but she manages to rip her way out with pure muscle, and Gowther escapes uses his sacred treasure.

"What? Oh my, both or you are stronger than I expected. No matter, nobody can defeat my lovely hair." Her hair attacks them both, Iris proving to be much too fast and agile with crazy acrobatic moves to catch. Gowther is also able to avoid most of the hairs, but one does cut his face.

"Somethings not right here;" the goddess takes a good look at them and points to Gowther. "How amoral, you're a man in ladies clothing, how revolting and disgusting."

Gowther starts to use Herritt on her when he's grabbed from behind by a long, sticky tongue. "Lady Halbet;" comes a muffled voice speaking German; "Your loveliness, let me play with him. He's like a doll. In fact, I think he is one." The tongue leads Gowther to an awful looking creature. He resembles a Britannian red demon, but he's much uglier with sweaty mucus dripping from his dark gray skin. Also, his power level is equal to Gowther's.

"Thank you, my lady, and oh how your beautiful hair and face just sparkle in the..."

"GO AWAY! The sight of you makes me vomit."

"Of course, anything for you, your gorgeousness." He goes underground, taking Gowther with him. Halbet stares at Iris, who stares back. "Ew, those drenched, dirty boyish clothes. I know who you are! You always cover your face, so I've heard, and you're not even a Muslim or a Persian. You must have the ugliest face in the world to be hiding it like that. Mind if I have a peak."

Iris holds on to her hijab and shades as Halbet's hair chases her. Halbet taps even more into her power and her hair's now strong enough to inflict damage on the young woman. Blood soaks through her hijab, as well as through different parts of her shirt. "You must be hiding some hideous, bulky muscles underneath those masculine clothes to match your strength. I hear you work out a lot to maintain your strength since your body is primarily human. Woman should never build their muscles or have such a small chest and narrow hips. What a disgrace to womankind."

At first, Iris's blue shirt receives some cuts and tares, but her clothing quickly repairs itself. "What? That's cheating;" goes Halbet; "You're clothing must be made from purgatory or volcanic plant clothe to regenerate like that."

She senses power from behind and a giant red ball of what appears to be blood damages some of her hair. "Juno, how dare you strike my lovely hair!" Juno, a female Roman goddess, flies next to Halbet, speaking in Latin. "What are you babbling on about? Just kill her already before she powers up."

"And who are you to order someone as beautiful as me, you repulsive freak (actually Juno's quite pretty herself with the smile of a sociopath). You're not even part of my clan."

"Madame Caelestis put ME in charge. Now, out of my way!"

The ugly creature raises back above the sand, with Gowther still wrapped in his tongue. "What? Why am I back up here? I thought I was torturing you."

"EW! OUT OF MY SIGHT YOU HIDEOUS CREATURE!"

"Oh Lady Halbet. The sight of you fills me...why hello Lady Juno. You're just as lovely as ever. Now I've got two beautiful faces fighting by my side"

"Go back to your hidey hole." June powers up and fires a big blob of blood power at him. Halbet shoots some flames from her hair to torch him. Gowther struggles to free himself when a cling is heard, just like when Meliodas uses full counter, and the attacks are reflected right back to the senders, at double the strength.

"Captain!" says Gowther, only to see that it's not his captain in front of him, but Iris. She's holding her shades in her right hand, which she used to activate the power. Gowther's in shock; "You? You can use full counter? But that's the captain's technique." Iris, shades back on, tickles the creature. He laughs so hard that he's in tears, and Gowther wiggles free.

"Who are you?"

The two goddesses float back up, with half of their bodies now covered in black mass. "Devil power, 25%." Halbert grabs not only Gowther, but the other creature into her hair. Juno fires many small dots of condense blood power towards Iris. She just stands there and takes it. She then sends a message to Gowther telepathy and tells him what to do. Gowther's surprised at her plan, but he manages to send an arrow at her. She grabs it with her bare hand while blood dots continue to hit her, causing her to bleed more and more. She then combines some dark energy to the arrow and cuts Gowther free.

"Devil Power, 30%." The goddesses try to attack the people around them, but Gowther manages to dull Halbet's senses just for a few seconds to throw her off course. Then he follows Iris's directions to create dozens of more arrows, her adding the same dark magic to them as before, and the goat sin uses the arrows to chop off some of Halbet's hair, bringing her to tears.

"My HAIR! My beautiful hair! How dare you! 40%." Halbet goes to 40% devil power, which is the max she can use. However, Juno can go as high as 60%. She creates a blood-water type of vortex. The hideous demon also taps into the devil power he's been given and doubles in power. Iris swiftly pushes Gowther out of the way, preventing him from getting swiped up into the vortex. However, she allows herself to get swooped up into it. The three of them push themselves to their power limits with the goal of killing and destroying everything for miles around. This was exactly what Iris was waiting for.

Gowther sees a bright, sparkling water blue light form around her. The goat sin's astounded by what he's witnessing. However, she tells him telepathically to get everybody away from there. He zips the command to run into everybody's minds and leads them away. He then notices dozens of creepy red eyeballs in the air and knocks most of them out of the sky with his arrows.

Jericho and Guila are trying to protect some locals from some strange creatures. They look just like ostriches, except they're twice the size of normal ones, have long claws on their fingers, shoot fireballs from their wings, and acid tar from their mouths. Jericho's able to neutralize the fire balls and acid tar with ice attacks and freezes them both, but the creatures manage to break out. Guila uses her explosion power, but they both use their speed to create a whirlwind, absorb the attack, and send it right back at the holy knights. They barely get out of the way, but the attack hits one of the giant pillars of Luxor Temple and is about to land on some people. Cleo arrives just in time to catch it and uses her demon strength to push it back into place, her magical power repairs it instantly. While that was going on, the ostriches try to take advantage of the rattled holy knights by sneaking up on them but are both suddenly hit by a sledgehammer in the heads, making them momentarily disoriented. The knights are shocked to see Margaret with a sledgehammer, and she can barely lift it.

Guila and Jericho attack and defeat the ostriches.

"Get those people underground NOW!" shouts Cleo pointing to an underground entrance. "HURRY!"

Black lasers start to attack the demon queen. Margaret successfully gets the locals underground, but Jericho and Guila hold back to face this opponent. There are dozens of floating eyeballs all around them shooting non-magic energy at them. Cleo uses the perfect cube to defend them. When the energy clears, Mr. Anti-Magic is standing in front of them, much bigger and bulker then when Meliodas faced him, along with two demon slayers behind him. He easily breaks through the perfect cube and Cleo just barely manages to avoid getting slashed. Some of the eyeballs turn their focus towards the holy knights, while Cleo moves quickly to avoid the anti-magic attacks. Cleo tries some of her demon attacks, but they prove useless against Mr. Anti-Magic and his armor, and she receives a deep wound in the arm from one of the slayers' weapons.

Out of sight, the mage that's controlling the eyeballs is laughing and mocking the demon queen. Pathetic. I heard that Queen Hatshepsut isn't very battle experienced, but I expected a bit more from the granddaughter of Azarath."

The demon slayers start fighting Jericho and Guila, but they too are getting hit by the eyeball's lasers and shout seemly into thin air in a foreign language. Cleo realizes that she can't fight Mr. Anti-Magic with magical attacks and goes direct. She punches him hard into a pill of stone, but he quickly gets up, barely effective by it. Fortunately, the demon queen has another trick up her sleeve. She takes out of her pocket what looks like a small bronze ball, but it quickly evolves into bronze colored, Valkyrie armor, along with a large shield and a spear with what looks like a bronze tip. Guila and Jericho freak out by what they see as Cleo charges for towards her opponent, the tip of the spear cutting through his armor and into his skin.

"Oh;" says the eyeball mage; "Maybe she is prepared to fight after all." Suddenly he's knocked senseless from behind. Gowther has tracked him down and knocked him out cold.

The demon warriors in the demon realm rally behind Inuyasha as they hold off the attackers long enough for all the citizens to be evaluated to the nearby emergency bunkers in the caves. The battle in the demon realm has been fairly even so far. It has taken the invaders a little longer than expected to get this far as the demon realm is full of traps, which temporary took out the first wave of attackers. At first, the well-trained demon warriors keep the enemy at bay. However, their inexperience soon comes to light, especially in their inability to adapt in mid-battle, as the invaders now start tapping into their stronger tricks. Anti-magic users, as well as the human demon slayers, are able to take out most of the magical traps, and the physical traps can no longer hold most of the invaders as they tap into their new upgraded powers, as well as injecting themselves with needles and popping "pills" into their mouths.

Inuyasha's has taken out several goddesses so far, but he's soon tangled up by this one goddess whose became obsessed with taking him down. Inuyasha cringes at the sight of her. She's giant sized and brunette with an impossible hourglass figure, including an extremely tiny waist, much wider than average hips, and extremely over-sized boobs and cleavage. Inuyasha isn't attracted to this at all and finds it downright disgusting. She isolates him away from the main battle and corners him towards a big cave. For a while she simply just toys with the half-demon. When he realizes this, he demands that she fight him for real. She takes the hint and starts tapping into her devil power, overpowering Inuyasha, even destroying his Wind Scar. She creatures several bolts of lightning and creates several "miniature" human sized versions of herself.

Inuyasha charges but his sword just goes right throw the miniatures as they're make of light. They, however, can hit him and they all attack, sending him flying into the cave wall. Unknown to the Inuyasha, Ching Liang is also there and tosses her now bloody boomerang towards him. Fortunately, Willie's threads grab the half-demon and pulls him out of the way just in time.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Inuyasha scolds; "Get back to those bunkers NOW!"

"I thought you needed some help;" answers Willie fixing the tares in Inuyasha's robe.

"You're not a fighter! GET OUT OF HERE!"

"Watch out!"

A bunch of magical lightning bolts are headed for them, along with a huge Ark.

"Full Counter!"

All the attacks are reflected back towards their senders, dissolving all the miniatures. Meliodas is standing in front of Inuyasha and Willie.

"About time you showed up;" says a furious Inuyasha.

Meliodas giggles sheepishly. "Hehe, sorry about that. Care to tell me what's going on?"

"All I know is that these freaks crashed through the gate and attacked." He does a double take at what Meliodas is holding. "You're fighting with a punny kitchen knife?"

Meliodas looks at the knife. "It was the first thing I saw. Guess I could've grabbed a bigger one."

"Look out!" They both jump out the way of an Ark. When they land, the goddess's wings are turning black, as has part of her face with a couple of horns on her head. She glares at the dragon sin.

"Why Meliodas, it's been a long time. Fancy running into you here."

The dragon sin's jaw drops. "YOU?! I remember. You're Lucy, the most violent and rough of the goddess clan. You would side with whoever gave you the biggest offer at the time and have single handily killed 50,000 demons and goddesses alike. What are YOU doing here?"

The goddess gives a wicked smile. "I've killed millions and millions more since then, especially humans, revolting insects."

"MONSTER!" Meliodas enchants the knife with his dark flames and jumps towards her. She easily blocks his slash attack with her hand.

"By the way, I've always hated the name Lucy. I'm now known as Nemesis."

Meliodas forms a blade with his demon matter. "Whatever, I see you haven't changed."

A boomerang suddenly hits her head, leaving a bloody cut. "What do you think you're doing?"

Ching Liang, who knows some Britannian with no assistance, glares at Nemesis. "Revolting insect?!"

"Sorry, let me handle this, it's personal."

Ching Liang rolls her eyes but decides to focus on Inuyasha, throwing her spear through his shoulder blade. An evil smug smile appears on the demon slayer's face as she walks towards the half-demon.

Meanwhile, Nemesis creates a light vertex with some darkness mass mixed in around herself and Meliodas, trapping him. The dragon sin just laughs.

"Nice trick, but do you really think I can't escape from this?" Meliodas goes demon mode and tries to burst his way out. All his dark matter, however, reflects back towards Meliodas and blasts him instead. Crashing into the ground, he slowly opens his eyes. "What happened?" He sees that the vortex is still up. An unaffected Nemesis has several strange magic rings around her, as well as nearly half of her body now covered in black matter.

"Devil Power 20%. Still cocky are we Meliodas. Sorry to disappoint you, but I've grown so much in power over these past 3,000, I'm stronger than any of the archangels."

They proceed to fight. While Meliodas holds his ground, the enchanted steak knife proves ineffective against her and is knocked out of his hand. Nemesis sends a gigantic lightning bolt and knocks Meliodas down again. She precedes to hit him 5 more times. However, Meliodas, while a somewhat bloody and battered, smiles and laughs.

"Talk about cocky." He slowly gets up and looks at Nemesis. "I'll admit, you have gotten a lot stronger, and I don't know how you're using demon power, but I've been fighting even tougher monsters then you!"

Meliodas goes into his assault mode form and flies towards Nemesis. Like before, she blocks his attacks with her wrist, but this time he punches his way through her arms and hits her face, leaving a mark. Furious, she increases her power. "Devil Power 30%." They start clashes several times over, both holding their own at first, but Meliodas starts pushing her back. "Devil Power 40%" Her skin becomes tougher, making it harder for Meliodas to dent her. He uses Trillion Darts and sends hundreds of consideration dark energy balls at her, piercing many holes into her skin. Her low-cut top become damaged enough that it falls down, exposing her full chest. While she's distracted by the embarrassment and covers her boobs with dark energy, Meliodas tries to slice his way through the vortex with demon matter swords but fails even in assault mode. 

"Devil Power 47%." Nemesis grabs Meliodas. He burst his way out and flies down in a hurry to find the knife. He tries to use full counter as she attacks again, but this time he's unable to reflect her power and gets knocked out of the sky. She again strikes him several times with lightning bolts, increasing to 52%. After taking several more hits, Meliodas isn't beaten yet and enchants the knife again with his hellblaze flames, again turning towards the vortex trying to slash through it. He tries several more times, over and over again. Nemesis just watches and laughs before hitting him with dark matter again. She increases to 55% and creates a dark lightning blade. Breathing heavily, Meliodas taps into his adrenaline and power reserves and increases his power, takes to the air once again, and clashes with the lightening sword. He tries harder and harder to push it back. Nemesis goes up even more, to 58%, nearing her own limit. Meliodas feels that he's being pushed back and deliberately let's go of the blade, causing Nemesis to charge forward and the blade goes through the vortex. Meliodas smiles and flies towards the hole, but unfortunately, it seals at lighting speed. He crashes into it.

"NOT GOOD?"

Nemesis increases to 60% and hits Meliodas. He gets up, hoping he can trick her again. Again, he clashes with her blade, but he gets pushed back. Meliodas tries to put everything his got into pushing the blade back, but he suddenly feels his power drain and collapses. His assault form fades, turning him back to normal, and he's wrapped in what looks like tree roots. It's followed by the most awful smell the dragon has ever smelled, he's sure.

Ivy Jane emerges from the soil and looks up at Nemesis, who glares at her.

"How did you get in here?"

"From underground of course. Thought you could use some help."

"Get back outside and maintain that vortex, you RECK!"

"You sure do;" adds Meliodas holding his nose.

Suddenly, a blasts smashes through the vortex. Ching Liang crashes hard into the ground. She is badly beaten and bloody, part of her armor destroyed. An equally beaten up Inuyasha enters through the opening, followed by Willie. 

The half-demon clears his throat and swallows his pride. "Thanks for the help, Willie."

"Willie, Inuyasha!" Meliodas calls out. Inuyasha's able to keep Nemesis busy just long enough for Meliodas to free himself as Ivy Jane tries to close the vortex.

Willie runs to Meliodas. He hands the dragon sin the khopesh sword, which he's been keeping in his bag.

"Thanks a bunch. This should be much better than that silly kitchen knife."

Nemesis in her fury foolishly attacks Ivy Jane, which causes the vortex to dissipate.

"So, she was controlling that thing?" asks Meliodas.

"More like helping that goddess maintain it;" answers Willie. "Sorry we didn't break through sooner. Had to steal an anti-magic boom from her (Ching Liang)."

Nemesis starts attacking again. "Adamant Barrage;" shouts Inuyasha as ice blast come from the Tessaiga and cut throw Nemesis skin as her devil power fades. Meliodas enchants the khopesh and sends Hellblaze blasts at her, further injuring her.

"Now's our chance;" says Inuyasha; "Meliodas, send me your demon power."

"For what? What are going to do?"

"Trust me, give me everything you've got."

"On it!"

Inuyasha jumps back a good distance as Meliodas once again enchants the khopesh with his black flames. "Dark Dragon Strike!" A gigantic black flame in the form of a dragon goes towards Inuyasha. He unleashes the Tessaiga and forms the dark energy around himself.

"Now! Backlash Wave!"

The attack hits Nemesis from behind and knocks her out. Inuyasha and Meliodas then collapse from exhausted. Willie kneels next to them.

"Are you guys alright?"

"I feel like crap;" answers Meliodas. His stomach growls loudly. "Not to mention awfully hungry.

"Seriously;" says Inuyasha annoyed, trying to ignore the pain from his own body.

"Need to get you guys to the healers;" says Willie. He looks at Meliodas clothes, which are bloody and torn. He fixes them completely, and entirely spotless.

Meliodas looks at his perfectly repaired clothing. "Man, if I had you around all the time, I wouldn't have to get new clothes so often."

"Funny how that demon slayer neutralized all my attacks;" informs Inuyasha; "yet she wasn't prepared for simple thread magic. Let's get out of here."

Ching Liang comes around and takes out a dark blue jewel. She points the jewel towards them, and a screaming energy comes out. Before they have a chance to response, Meliodas and Inuyasha get sucked into the jewel, but Willie gets rejected as the jewel doesn't accept lower powered beings. Ivy Jane quickly uses her vines to squeeze the monk hard, causing him to pass out. Several of the invaders appear, grab Nemesis, and they all escape through the portal.

On the surface, Kaida the phoenixgon has joined the battle and has sent several invaders running scared. Halbert, Juno, and their accomplice have been defeated by Iris and Gowther. Cleo, with chunks of her armor missing, had managed to hold her own against Mr. Anti-Magic for a while. Just when it seemed both of them were getting exhausted, he pops a ball into his mouth and gets a huge second wing. An exhausted Cleo had to hid from him temporarily to regain some strength, then engaged him again. It took extra help from Iris to finally defect him. By now, most of the invaders have either fallen back or retreated.

Suddenly, Cleo collapses. Iris runs to her, and it looks as if her veins are sticking out and a magical purple rash starts to form on her body. Guila, Jericho, and Margaret soon collapse as well. Many people around them are also dropping like flies, coughing up blood and displaying the same magical rashes. Gowther and Iris are unaffected and notice glowing purple particles on the ground. It's some kind of diseased allergen that was released by one of the invaders. Iris quickly glows a water blue light and puts her hands on the ground, neutralizing the disease from miles around. Unfortunately, she's not able to cure those already infected with it.

"Lady Iris;" ask Gowther; "What do you want us to do?"

Iris tries to use her vocal cords, but it doesn't work, so tells Gowther via telepathy that they should go to the church up the road and call Azarath immediately.

All of a sudden, a feeling hits her like a ton of bricks. She nearly collapses, not from a disease, but a sixth sense.

She grabs Gowther's wrist and leads the way.
