Reunions Part 1

"Trillion Dark!"

Meliodas destroys prehaps a trillion black snow masses. They are just like the ones Henderson had used during the battle of Lions, but much more powerful and deadly. They keep coming from this purgatory snake indura in front of him. He's had no choice but to fight this thing all by himself. He had instructed Willie and Nuri to steer clear, but he's not sure if the powerless but extremely stubborn vulacish will comply. He doesn't even know where they are at the moment nor if they're safe. The oversized cloak has been protecting him from impact, but it's starting to suffer some wear and tear. Meliodas has been frustrated with this thing and wishes to ditch it, but it protects him from the magic and especially the anti-magic, which can harm him as his unprotected left hand discovered earlier when he the snake indura which to Meliodas's shock contains high levels of anti-magic. The boar bone is cracked and broken in several places, and he's had to switch to his non dominant and "weaker" right hand as his damaged left can hardly grasp anything. His right hand also gets hit with anti-magic, but Meliodas ignores the pain and forces his fingers to remain grasped to the bone.

The dragon sin doesn't know how long this battle's been going on, but it's been a while now. He's defeated several opponents already, who were a much bigger challenge than expected. They were using "devil powers", devices and "power enhancers". When it seems like these opponents were on the verge of defeat or exhaustion, they'd stuff pills into their mouths, or inject themselves with needles, or both. They are becoming more and more deranged and zombie like, which is what eventually lead to their defeats. 

Meliodas is struggling against the snake indura. It has both magical and unmagical abilities, but it's currently only using anti-magic and physical attacks, not giving the dragon sin any opportunity to use Full Counter. He's punched, hit, and kicked this beast many times, but each time it falls, it just gets right back up. While normally out of character for him, Meliodas has tried more than once to abandon this fight, because he wasn't sure if this battle was worth fighting anymore, plus he's getting exhausted and hungry. However, the indura keeps blocking his path won't give Meliodas a chance to leave. He's also worried about Nuri and Willie but can't get a read on where they are.

The snake pounds Meliodas several times and scoops him into its mouth. However, he attacks from the inside. The snake spits him out before it can explode, which is what Meliodas had intended to happen. Instead, he puts everything he can muster up into one big attack. He does his best to form a sword out of his demon matter over the broken boar bone and strikes.

"I've had enough of you, Thousand God Slayer."

The attack cuts through right down the middle of the snake. It splits in half and collapses. However, it isn't dead, and Meliodas knows that it'll put itself back together in no time. He powers down and dashes out of sight, as some of the previously defeated opponents start to move and get up as well. When Meliodas is sure he's safe, he collapses, breathing heavily. He stays there for several minutes, listening to and feeling his empty stomach roar like an angry indura. Speaking of the indura, it's already whole again and seems to be following both Meliodas's scent and hunger pangs. So are most of the defeated foes who are also back on their feet. They are swallowing even more pills and injecting themselves with even more 'stuff' and magically enlarge a tube and needle to inject into the indura, plus a few giant pills. The snake and the others glow and get a very obvious power and energy boost.

"What the hell? That's cheating!" Meliodas says almost too loudly. He puts one hand over his mouth, the other on his stomach attempting to calm it down. Then somebody starts yelling in a foreign language. Meliodas takes another peak and somebody new has shown up. She's yelling at the others, hitting them, and holds up a strange object, pointing it at the snake indura. It starts cringing and nearly bows down to its tormenter in pain, obviously being forced to do so. Meliodas cannot comprehend just how she can possibly control a monster like that. The woman yells at everyone again and they follow her, their leader hitting and kicking and screaming at them as they move.

"What in the world?" Meliodas asks himself. "These people are crazy."

"Meliodas;" comes a thick accent. The dragon sin turns around to see Willie behind him. Meliodas scoops him into a big hug, nearly crushing and suffocating the poor monk.

"Sorry buddy. I'm so relieved to see you."

Meliodas then notices about three large boxes that the monk managed to put down right before the hug.

"Is that food? GREAT! I'm starving!"

The largest box is filled with six foot-long Romanian eclers, filled with vanilla cream and topped with chocolate and sweet peanut-butter icing. Another box is filled with some kind of thick apple pie cake topped with powdered sugar. The final box contains different types of cheese. Willie had found these on an abandoned party table and took as much as he could carry. It takes Meliodas almost no time at all to devour everything, even licking the boxes cleaned and eating the spills and crumbs right off the floor. He then immediately asks for more holding out his hand, which is obvious to Willie. He hands Meliodas a gallon of cow's milk to drink, which the demon gulps down quickly, followed by a huge belch.

"Thanks buddy, I really needed that. Where's Nuri?"

Hearing her name, Willie has a concern look on his face and points back the other way. Meliodas gets up and follows him. They both look at each other awkwardly, with a little bit of sadness.

This really sucks; Meliodas thinks to himself; We really need to find that amulet.

I'm going to learn Britannian once this is all over; thinks Willie.

Meliodas takes off the cloak, which he's tripping on and has gotten a little bit warm in. They soon find Nuri. Meliodas is horrified by her savagely beaten-up state. It's obvious that she's seen more action. Even the cloak she's wearing is severely ripped and torn (but not her throb, although it's dirty and covered in blood).

"Nuri, what happened?"

"Don't worry about me. Took you long enough."

Meliodas gives a sarcastic chuckle. "Yea well it got complicated." The dragon sin notices what appears to be an open box of brownies on the floor and picks it up.

"MELIODAS NO!" Nuri swiftly knocks the box from his grip. "Don't eat those. They're loaded with dangerous stimulates! If they effect the goddesses, they'll harm you too."

"Seriously?!" replies Meliodas; "A few shouldn't harm me?"

"NO! Just one will make you highly addicted. You won't be able to stop until you're dead. It's not worth the risks." She quickly grabs the 4 boxes that she had grab from the same party table as Willie and places them in front of the dragon sin. "Here, eat these if you're still hungry."

Meliodas grins; "Thank you." He starts eating real brownies that are very soft and googy, filled with extra chocolate chips, while Nuri and Willie clean up the drugged brownies and discard them.

"YUM, these are so delicious and gooey." Willie sits next to him to rest, the dragon sin notices that Willie's nose and head are bandage up, and he's got some deep scratches. "Are you alright? Did you want anything?"

"I'm ok, and no thank you. I can't possibly stomach that stuff. What...Meliodas?"

"Willie?" Meliodas swallows; "I understand you!" He grabs the monk into a big hug again, but not crushing him so badly. "Man, I'm so happy! I really missed talking to you."

Willie smiles back."It wasn't long, but I missed talking to you too. Hey wait, this must mean that the amulet..."

"Is right here." Inuyasha has appeared from seemly nowhere holding the amulet.

"Inuyasha;" the demon and monk say in unison. "Where have you been?" adds Meliodas, swallowing the very last brownie and licking the chocolate from his fingers.

"Chasing that pathetic llama;" answers the half-demon handing the amulet back to Willie. "He skedaddle at the first sign of danger, just like Myoga always does." He then takes off the cloak, revealing not only his still dyed hair in dreadlocks, but also that he's now wearing pink pajamas the are two small on him. Willie and Meliodas are both stunned.

"Um...Inuyasha..." starts the dragon sin.

"Don't ask! As for these, we made a stop at that pink-obessed goat's quarters because the stone that Iris had lead us to a pink pearl that was stolen from my country. That place is a pink nightmare. I don't how she lives like that."

"Pink's a nice color;" replies Meliodas as he finishes licking the gooey chocolate from the now empty box and starts on a another one of cold Romanian fried pork meatballs. "I use pink."

"Everything in the room, floor to ceiling wall to wall, completely hosed down pink."

Meliodas swallows and coughs; "Hell no! Are you kidding me?!"

"No!" Inyuasha smells the meatballs. "Give me some of those."

"You're going to have to take them from me;" smirks Meliodas who buries his head in the box.

"YOU PIG! I haven't eaten since this morning!"

Meliodas looks at him with his mouth full. "Chill, I'll give you some, if you say please."

"What?! Give it to me!"

Meliodas hands the box to Inuyasha, only now the box is completely empty. The dragon sin laughs as a furious Inuyasha throws the box back at him and starts to fight.

"HEY! Knock it off your guys!" Willie gets between them and hands Inuyasha an untouched box of barbecue chicken and chips. "Here Inuyasha. And here's your clothes."

"Thank You! At least somebody's competent around here."

Meliodas sniffs and shows interest in Inuyasha's meal. Willie gets him front of him. "Really Meliodas, why are acting like that? At a time like this."

The dragon sin is annoyed by Willie's attitude. "Oh, come on, need to unwind a bit. We're not in battle right now." He gets behind the monk and massages his shoulders. As much as Meliodas gets on his last nerve, the monk knows he's going to miss the dragon sin's company terribly when the adventure's over. Maybe they can use portals or make a new gate connection to visit each other now that Britannia's no longer cut off from the rest of the world.

"Hey Inuyasha, I want some of that chicken and chips." Meliodas gives his fellow half-demon a puppy dog look. Inuyasha, who's just finished putting on his regular clothes, tries to keep the box out of the dragon sin's reach. Willie again intervenes by handing the final food box to Meliodas. It is filled with over three dozen deviled eggs. Meliodas has already gobbled down half of them when Inuyasha ask if he can have a couple, grudgingly saying 'please'.

"Maybe, if you give me some of that chicken and chips."

Inuyasha huffs but agrees, and they share their food like they should. 

"Hey Inuyasha, did you say that you found my sister. Where is she? What about Gowther and the others? Did Hawk find you?"

The half-demon nods; "They'll be here soon. They got tangled up with some deranged indura and anti-magic user that were beating on some children. They sent me and the pigs ahead. It was such a pain finding a weakness in that barrier to get over here."

"Meliodas!" Hawk comes running down the hall with both Melidy and Bluey on his back. He stops just sort of them and plops to the floor, breathing heavily. "Ok Bluey you can get off now." He looks at Inuyasha. "Hey, what's the big idea running ahead of us and leaving me to fall into that pit? Took me 15 minutes to climb out of there, with Bluey hanging onto my tail with her teeth."

"Sorry Pinky Hawk...maa;" replies Bluey; "I should be able to move under my own power again soon. Hey Meliodas, how are you feeling? Are you getting enough to eat?"

Meliodas stuffs some chips into his mouth. "I wish I was. Trying too."

"Ooo, is that a barbecue chicken box with chip grease? Are you done with it?"

"Here;" Inuyasha throws the empty boxes at her. "That was far better than those old, stale cheese sandwiches you gave us."

"Old and stale?" Bluey says crunching on the box. "They were only 4 days old."

"I liked them," says Hawk; "I would, I'm a pig."

Meliodas giggles, then Hawk takes a four-day old grilled cheese sandwich out of Bluey's fur still in the pink wrapping (by special request). "Eat it yourself, then we'll see if you're still laughing."

Meliodas is used to eating his own horrible cooking, so he accepts and chugs the sandwich into his mouth. He clearly doesn't like it. It's like eating hard rubber and, old crusty bread. He swallows it anyway and definitely isn't laughing now.

Melidy, back in her pink and blue tutu dress, makes a cute snort and taps Hawk. Her brother unstraps her and lets her down to roam. Meliodas scoots next to her. "Well, hello little porker. Come to Uncle Meliodas."

Melidy sees him and screams. She crawls underneath Hawk, crying and shaking.

"Hey, what's wrong Little Porker? I won't bite. I want to play."

Melidy screams even louder and tries to bury her head on the back of Hawk's foot.

"Why do you think she's scared of you?" replies Hawk. "You tried to eat her just last night?"

"Hey;" replies Meliodas; "I said I was sorry. Come on out Little Porker, I'm ok now. I'm fun, big time."

"Meliodas;" says Inuyasha; "It's going to take her time to trust you after that. Believe me I know."

"And quit calling her Little Porker;" orders Hawk. "Her name's Melidy."

"Melidy ha?" Meliodas peaks underneath Hawk, the baby refusing to look at him. "I love that name. Did you by chance name her after me, Hawk?"

Hawk's face softens; "Yes actually I did."

Meliodas smiles and gives a thumbs up. "Well, you did a good job, buddy.

"Maa...where's Willie going?" asks Bluey. "Where's Nuria Shila?"

That gets the two half-demons and pig's attention. "What?"

"They wondered off while you guys were talking. First Nuri then Willie followed her."

They hear noise from down the hall. Hawk smells something very unpleasant. While the two half-demons can sense a presence, they can't tell what it is.

"It's not magic;" says Inuyasha; "It's...."

"A SHADOW DEVIL!" shouts Bluey.

A 40 foot tall black humanoid shape with no features appears. It appears solid. Meliodas and Inuyasha immediately go for a direct hit. They go right through it, feeling some pain go through their bodies. Then the creature slaps both of them into the rock walls, which tumble down.

"Oh my gosh!" yells Hawk, keeping Melidy underneath him.

The two half-demons raise from rubble. Meliodas especially looks tense and powers up. He's fought shadow demons before, but this feels different. He uses his black flames and throws them at the thing. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be working. The flames go right through the devil creature. It then picks up some rocks and throws them at the half-demons. They both jump out of the way. Inuyasha assumes that it's going solid as it picks up more physical objects and takes the chance to strike. Meliodas follows suit. Both are in demon mode, Meliodas with his demon matter blades and Inuyasha with his claws infused with his blood. Indeed, the beast is solid, but the two half-demons get caught by the monster and start getting sucked in. Hawk and Bluey watch helplessly as their friends get sucked into that thing, calling out to them. They are almost fully engulfed when Meliodas shouts; "NO!" The dragon sin taps into his demon power and causes the shadow beast to explode. He and Inuyasha fall to the ground, and the shadow creature's black mass body is scattered. It suddenly seems to be getting vacuumed up, and to their surprise two goddesses are actually absorbing the mass into their own bodies. 

Meliodas can sense that they are extremely overpowered, even for him right now. He grabs Inuyasha and drags him to another chamber away from those two.

"What the hell Meliodas?! Why didn't you let me fight them?"

"Because they're too strong;" answers the dragon sin; "And there's others behind them. If we fight them now, we'd just be wasting time and energy, especially without proper weapons." Meliodas takes a deep breath. "To be honest, I've never seen so many at such ridiculous power levels before, and I'm starting to think that some of those powers aren't natural."

Inuyasha gives his fellow half-demon a funny look. "Since when did you when start using your head?"

Meliodas smiles. "I can, I just usually don't unless I'm forced. Thinkings alot of hard work. That's why I've got friends to do it for me."

"Wouldn't hurt you too use your head more often." Hawk appears with Melidy. "If it wasn't for me, the boar hat wouldn't have had any business at all."

"Now now Hawk, not all my business decisions were stupid. Some were so dumb they actually work." Meliodas gives a huge grin.

"Sometimes."

Bluey appears. "Hey guys, Gowther just contacted me. They're helping those children who were attacked. He says just stay put until they get here."

"You're kidding me?"; says Inuyasha; "Just sit here doing nothing. If anything, we should be helping those children too."

"We don't have to do nothing," says Meliodas; "We can arm wrestle. Maybe you'll actually beat me this time."

Hawk says that's probably not a good idea. Inuyasha then realizes that Bluey's moving around like normal on her own.

"Hey goat, I thought you were paralyzed."

"I'm not?"

"Bluey, you ran here on your own;" says Hawk; "How did I not notice?"

Bluey moves around. All her normal feeling and strength is back. "It's worn off! I'm not paralyzed! I'M BACK TO NORMAL!"

Bluey twirls, leaps, and dances, even on her hind legs at times, with joyful enthusiasm! "I can move! I can leap, I can run, I can dance! I'm free." She grabs the pig; "Come on Pinky Hawk, let's dance!"

"MEEELLLIIOODAAS...help me!"

Meliodas is staring awkwardly at the goat's dance of jubilee. "That's...one...ah...jovial goat...isn't it?"

"I've seen weirder;" replies Inuyasha, although he too finds this display rather...odd.

Hawk loses his footing and tumbles over, Bluey right on top of him. "Bluey, no offense. I like you, but can we please skip the dancing."

"Oh don't worry Pinky...maa...you'll get used to it."

"Meliodas! Inuyasha!" Comes the voice of Willie. He's running towards them in a panic. "Willie? What's..."

There's a sudden crash through the wall. Several giant rats with glowing red eyes, seemly possessed but frighten, run frantically passed them and quickly out of sight. Before anybody can comprehend what that was all about, a voice comes from the hole in the wall.

"Captain?"

"What? Ban? No way!"

"Ban? Oh no!;" says Hawk. "Bluey, get behind me and help protect Melidy?"

"What? Are they going to play fight and bring ceiling down?" replies a chilled goat; "Happens all the time around here?"

The dragon sin and the fox sin glare at each other momentarily, until they explode in excitement.

"BAN!"

"CAP'N!"

The two best bros go into a crazy series of hand slaps and fives, which Hawk calls 'a game of pattycake gone horribly wrong.' They punch each other in the face laughing hysterically. Willie's in a state of baffled shock. Inuyasha grabs the monk and gets him out of the way as Meliodas and Ban takes turns punching each other through the walls, then go into a "playful" arm wrestling match, manging to shake the chambers.

Bluey laughs at the whole thing as a frighten Hawk, who's never gotten used to this, shields Melidy from falling debris.

"What in bloody blazes?" Willie finally manages to say; "They're insane!"

"Actually, it's common;" says an unfazed Inuyasha. "Wish I had a friend I could do that with? Wait...maybe I do."

The two best friends are evenly matched as Ban reminds the dragon sin that he's currently ahead in matches won. Meliodas gets a sudden motivated drive. "I don't think so." Ban goes down, his best friend declaring that they are now even again.

Suddenly, Inuyasha appears and strikes Meliodas in the face, the dragon sin going down because he was off his guard.

"What the hell? Who are you Mr. Dreadlocks?!" Ban looks furiously at the half-demon. Inuyasha responds by punching Ban in the face.

"Whoa, Inuyasha;" says Meliodas getting up. "Why are YOU punching Ban? You don't you even know him."

"Because I felt like it;" responds the half-demon crossing his arms; "and maybe because I'm a little jealous."

"Ban, you came!" calls out Hawk holding Melidy.

"Master!" Ban scoops them both up; "We went through alot of trouble because of you. Don't ever get kidnapped again. Little Madame, your safe." Melidy wags her tail and oinks happily as Ban cuddles her. Meliodas is baffled, and a little jealous.

"Guys!" Willie calls out.

"Captain!" Diane reveals herself, along with King and Merlin.

"NO WAY! You guys are here too?"

Diane scoops her captain into a big hug, followed by a more settle one from King. "Captain, what are you doing here?"

"What are you guys doing here? Man I'm so glad see you all."

Meliodas then notices the boar sin a few feet away, with her normal calm and stoic expression. "Merlin? Your here too?"

Merlin gives the very faintest of smiles. "Hey Captain. I hear it's your fault we're all in this mess."

Meliodas laughs putting his hand behind his head; "Yea well maybe it is a little."

Merlin continues to stand there with her arms crossed; "I'm glad you're ok, Meliodas."

The captain of the Seven Deadly Sins dashes for the boar sin, smiles, and opens his arms wide. "Come here you."

Merlin smiles and embraces her longtime friend. Watching from the hole in the wall is Jasmine with a smile on her face, Hana, and Arwin. When they are done, Willie breaks through the circle and taps Meliodas on the arm trying to tell him something.

"Oh yea;" the dragon sin says glee. "Everyone, this is my new friend Willie, who's stuck by me for the past several days despite myself. And this is Inuyasha, a very worthy rival indeed."

Hearing that name rings a bell for some of the new arrivals.

"Inuyasha?" Jasmine calls out approaching them. "Are you the one that Kagome is looking for?"

"Kagome? Where is she?"

"She got separated from us;" informs Arwin stepping out from behind Jasmine.

"What do you mean she got separated from you?" Inuyasha in a fury tumbles on top of Arwin pinning her down. "You better not have lost her you understand!"

The half-demon feels a slight burn on his hand. Jasmine has touched him with her finger. "It's not her fault. It's nobody's fault except the one who put up that barrier. "

Inuyasha releases Arwin. "You're right. It's all Vald's fault."

"Vald?" says Arwin; "So Apolline's hunch...NO! It can't be. I won't believe it."

"Wake up lady it is?"

"What do you mean...he's still alive?" asks a surprised Merlin.

"Yes woman;" informs the half-demon; "In fact, he's the reason Caelestis is still alive."

"WHAT?!" shouts a shocked Meliodas. "What do you mean he's the reason she's alive?"

"MELIODAS! EVERYBODY!" Willie shouts, finally getting everyone's attention. "I don't mean to interrupt this reunion, but I've been trying to tell you that a mage took Nuri. Said Ching Liang has unfinished business with her."

"What?" replies Merlin; "Where did they take her?"

"I don't know. Somewhere away from that purified lava, he said."

Jasmine's group had figured out together that they could purify the ancient supernatural lava globe, turning it into natural lava. Merlin immediately glows and starts to disappear.

"Wait Merlin?" says the pastor; "Don't go by yourself. It could be a trap."

"Pastor Jaz, I need to rescue my sister. I will not lose her again."

"No, you won't. We'll save her."

"She's right Merlin;" says King; "It's not like you to make rash decisions. We'll go as a team, right Captain?"

"You're right King. We go together. We'll get Nuri back, for both you and Willie."

Merlin looks touched and relents. "Thank you Captain. All of you."

"Maa...hey everybody;" says Bluey; "Iris and Gowther are that way. They've got Vald in their custody."

"Iris," Jasmine and Meliodas says in unison. Meliodas looks at her. "Excuse me, who are you?"

Jasmine smiles and gives the others a firm look, as in telling them not to say anything. "You'll find out soon enough, Meliodas." She then notices the dragon sin's burnt hands. "Let me see your hands. They look and feel like anti-magic burns. I can heal that."

"You can?"

Jasmine nods and has Meliodas hold out his hand. While her flames burn and sting for a few seconds, his hands are soon as good as new. Meliodas is impressed, so impressed in fact that he notices her boobs and unable to help himself as usual, almost touches them. Jasmine shoves him away, giving him a warning look with her hands and eyes glowing red lava. Meliodas's inappropriate attempt reminds him of somebody extremely important that he hasn't seen yet. 

"Hang on. Elizabeth? Where's Elizabeth?"

"She's been separated from us again Captain?" informs Ban; "Along with that Kagome girl. Also Zeldris and Gelda, and Wild and thoughs other girls."

"Wild?" asks Hawk.

"We'll fill you in on the way;" says Jasmine; "Let's go."
