Chapter 70

"Noooo, Carter!" I shouted in despair. I struggled to escape from the hands of the pirate who was holding me. I tried to pull his hands away from me, but his grip tightened as I resisted. I pushed him with all my strength but to no avail. "Let go of me, filthy animal!" I shouted again, putting my hands on his face and pushing him hard.

"Oh, you littlie rat!" the pirate fumed.

He lifted my body above the handrail, and I hung in the void.

"Come, Viggo, grab her before she gets out of my hands and falls into the sea, and don't leave her out of your side; she may want to escape falling into the sea," said the pirate warning his partners.

"Okay, Jack, don't worry."

I felt the hands of the man in the boat grabbing me by the waist.

"Okay, Jack, I'm holding her. Leave her," he shouted, and Jack left me.
