The ground stopped shaking and Taeil checked if he could use his powers. He tried opening a portal, and surprisingly, it worked.
"Get in everyone!" He shouted, telling everyone to come inside the portal. Without any hesitation, everybody started going inside the portal, and in a second, they were already outside of the building.
People were panicking about what's happening, it was total chaos.
"Everyone, please report to the Town Square immediately. We repeat, everyone please report to the Town Square!" A loud speaker started to announce this. People were already starting to walk to the Town Square.
"Does the mayor or president already know about the situation?!" Alex was panicking.
"We already told them." Woonggi replied.
"Any moment from now, the Shadows will start attacking..." Taeil said. Now everyone was nervous about what's going to happen.
"Let's head to the Town Square first." Somi insisted. All of us started running to the Town Square, but even before we could enter there, we were stopped by a group of gangsters.
"What now" Lein was irritated. I sighed after seeing them.
"Give us what you have... Or else." One of them said.
"Or else what?" Lein hissed.
"Or else this..." One by one, the summoned a weapon. They already figured it out, Taeil facepalmed.
"Now give us what you have." The man in the middle said, which looked like the leader of the gang.
"Give me a break! Let me handle this!" Alex walked in front, ready to beat the living out of everyone, but she was stopped by Taeil.
"Sure" Taeil spoke. He threw his wallet to the ground. A member went up to this and picked up the thrown wallet. He opened this and was surprised when there was nothing inside of it.
"Are you playing with us?" The man said. Taeil shook his head. Annoyed of Taeil, the man ran up to him and threw a punch at Taeil. But to everyone's surprise, Taeil caught his hands midway.
"Why are you punching him?! We have weapons!" The leader shouted.
"Oh boy" Jihoon was bothered.
The gangsters all went in to attack them, but Somi blew on the gangster's feet and they were frozen in place.
"Nice one Somi!" Woonggi cheered, making Woonggi and Jihoon giggled.
"We don't need t waste our time with this cockroaches, let's go!" Somi joked, making the rest laugh.
After their encounter with the gangsters, they ran to the Town Square. They saw people boarding dozens of bus. On the far left, they some numbers of people in a line. They went to them and asked the person in front about why they were in a line.
"They said that players of The Loop level 500 and above will get in a line." One of them answered. Jihoon thanked them and they asked who told them to get in a line.
"It's them." They pointed to 3 people talking to the citizens.
"I should've known." Taeil muttered.
"Uncle!" Woonggi shouted, getting the attention of one of the people helping the civilians. The group ran to them and greeted them.
"My Baby W!" The uncle Woonggi shouted greeted him. He pinched his cheeks and pat his head.
"We've already sent out 20 Buses out of the border so they could be safe." A person appeared, swiping the sweat in their forehead.
"How we doing Auntie!" Somi greeted the person that just arrived.
"Great as always Somi" The aunt replied.
"We're letting the players 500 and above to guard the entrance of the border." Another person came. He looked similar to Taeil, which made Taeil smile a little after seeing him.
"Dad" Taeil whispered, he ran to his dad and hugged him tight. "I miss you." Taeil said quietly, which he got a pat in the back from his dad.
"By the way, why are the people evacuating outside the border?" Alex asked.
"That's a great question! We already calculated how massive the land will overlap with the game. If we're right and we get the people out of the border, hypothetically, they would be free from the chaos that will unfold here in our city... our should I say Pandora" Somi's aunt replied. Jihoon and his friends nod upon understanding the situation.
"We need to get back helping the people. You already know what to do! Good luck kiddos!" Taeil's Dad wished everyone's luck.
"Thank you." Jihoon thanked him, receiving a smile.
"I could tell Taeil found a great holder for 000" Woonggi's Uncle replied. Taeil and his friends bid goodbye their family as they left to continue evacuating the civilians.
"The game has not fully overlap with the real world so we need to wait for it to fully overlap." Taeil began.
"We should practice your abilities while waiting, as well as unlock more of your potentials and more elements to help you with the 7 Mythical Beasts." He continued.
"Wait!" Jihoon took everyone's attention, curious of what he's going to say next.
"I need to find Jay!" Jihoon took off right away, even before his friends could say anything. Taeil heaved out a loud sigh.
"Where are you Jay" Jihoon said to himself. He totally forgot about his best friend! Searching in the crowds, someone caught his attention.
"Jay!" Jihoon shouted, running towards his direction he hugged Jay upon seeing him.
"Don't leave, come with me." Jihoon said this as he buried his face in Jay's chest.
"Don't worry about me Jihoon, I'll be staying here protecting the border." Jay cupped Jihoon's face, wiping his tears with his tumb.
"Stop crying okay? Mom and Dad doesn't like it when you cry." Jay tried to stop Jihoon from crying, but the mention of Mom and Dad made him sobbed even more.
"Jihoon!" Taeil shouted from the distance, getting both Jihoon and Jay's attention.
"Let's go!"
'They're calling you already, Go. Don't worry about me okay?" Jay assured Jihoon that he will be fine. Giving him a pat and a last pinch in the cheek, Jihoon waved goodbye to Jay.
"We'll see each other soon!" Jay shouted as he kept waving to Jihoon. Jihoon and the team started walking away from Jay.
Separating ways, what would unfold when Jihoon and Jay meets again?
