Story four: Learning to cook with Jigen Daisuke.

Three weeks after my fall break escapades with Lupin and Fujiko, Lupin texts me early on a Sunday morning. Jigen has came to this world, and he's going to be cooking a special dinner for my family tomorrow after school because it's almost Halloween and apparently Jigen likes to celebrate with cooking a whole lot of food. Only thing is he, plus Fujiko, plus Lupin are coming to my house. And my parents need at least a 24 hour notice, and the house is so messy it looks like a train wreck blew through it. I tell Lupin what's going on, and he says "Okay. Just let me know by 2 PM this afternoon if we can come."

I explain to my parents later that day what's going on, and they say fine with an ugly groan from both of their mouths. Just that I must get the kitchen clean, the dining room clean, and the living room clean all by myself. Grandma announces that she will be going to her sister's house, my great Aunt Vicki's for three days because of it. I get the dining room clean, living room clean and kitchen clean by Lupin's deadline and tell him the gang can come over tomorrow.

The next day, once Lupin, Fujiko and Jigen arrive my parents say they're leaving the house until Lupin and the others leave. It makes me and Lupin feel angry. Then my brother refuses to come out of his room from upstairs. "Oh dear, what are we going to do now?!" I ask. Jigen thankfully comes up with a great solution to this problem. "Well, I'm just going to teach you how to cook. But we're going to have to adjust the recipes as it's only the four of us eating." He says. Jigen teaches me how to cook his recipe of fresh pumpkin soup, which tastes really good. Then we throw some frozen chicken tenders I found in my freezer in the oven and cook those. Fujiko makes a really tasty Italian salad, and Lupin makes dessert which is ice cream sundaes.

Dinner with the gang was really good. But we were still missing one important member, Goemon Ishikawa. We pray together that he finds the way to this world soon. Soon enough, Jigen is helping me do the dishes. Fujiko gives me the clothes and makeup and perfume and other stuff she used to make me beautiful, but gives me a firm warning to hide them really well from my parents. Like hide it all under my bed and in between my mattress. Lupin gives me a wrapped present with a handwritten note that says "open when you either really miss me or want to kiss me". And I tear the wrapping paper immediately because I want to kiss him before he leaves. It's his pink blazer, with his smell all over it!! He brings me in for a kiss, and we kiss fully, locked in on the lips for the first time. He then hands me another handwritten note that says "use this when you need to cuddle or you want to hug me from a distance. I promise you, I'll feel it. And you can even wear it too despite its big on you. You'll look cute with your boyfriend's jacket on." I kiss him one more time, then Fujiko helps me hide everything In my room.

Soon, I part with the trio, and text my parents that they can come home now. I take my evening medication really early, and I fall asleep holding Lupin's pink blazer; inhaling his scent in and out. Lets just say I slept perfectly that night.
