A happy day

"Here you are!" The hostess were smiling at the exited girl, and gave her the gems, they had made.

"Thank you very much!" Valerie pick the small box with wide smile. "Look!" She showed the gems to the others.

The gems were ice blue diamond crystals.

"They are beautiful!" Elie said, and the boys nodded diligently.

Conrad and K.O. weren't so fond of gems, but they didn't want to discourage Valerie. The girls have weird customs, and K.O. said there was no need to argue with them about these customs. So Conrad and K.O. managed to say one compliment each about the gems.

"It is high time to go back to the service area of the textile company." The old man ended the gem-wondering session.

The little team left the jewelry store just in time. The next minute, after the door closed behind them, a girl's crying made the hostesses nervous.

"Mr. Kerry-Orr!" The chief of the service came to greet them. It wasn't a good sign.

"What's the problem?" He asked the chief.

"It isn't a big one." He replied. "We could insert the balloon properly, but you should see the bottom part of the caravan's top.

He led the little group to the garage, and showed them the little claws, which were holding the balloon.

"There are started to get rusty." K.O. nodded. He didn't swear loudly just because of the kids.

"Is it a big problem?" Conrad asked anxiously.

"No." K.O. said, but the other three looked at him so suspicous eyes, that he had to tell the truth. "Yes, it is, but it it could be solved easily. Tomorrow I have to travel to the Kingdom of Iridium."

"Okay." Valerie agreed. "What is Kingdom of Iridium famous for?"

"Iridium is corrosion inhibitor." Elie said. "K.O. need it for the claws on the roof. Although, Valerie! Do you insist using gold for your earrings?"

"Why? Shouldn't the gems be put in gold?"

"You could use platinum instead. In this case you could accompany K.O.!"

Valerie nodded.

"But where will you and Conrad sleep?" Valerie asked. "I suppose we will need the caravan anyway."

K.O. and Elie looked at each other, and smiled.

"We have a surprise for you!" Elie told to the kids. "Close your eyes!"

The twins closed their eyes, but when they were led, they both opened them a bit, to see, where they were going.

"Peeping is not allowed!" K.O. protested, and covered Valerie's eyes with his hands. Elie did the same with Conrad. They were leading them to the entrance hall of the factory.

"You could open your eyes!" K.O. told to the kids, and they both took their hands away from the kids' eyes.

Valerie and Conrad were winking a bit, while they were getting used to the light again. When they could see again properly, their gaze fell on a strange something. It was unrecognizable at first, but as the children's eyes got used to the strange color scheme, they both began to cheer.

"It is a tent!" Conrad cried, and he looked at K.O. with tearful eyes. "They said we didn't have enough yarn for the tent!"

"Well, they were right, because yarn really wasn't enough for the balloon and the tent at the same time. But the material of the old balloon was enough to make the tents. You don't want to see it?" The old man asked, and the two kids went to the tent. "It seems they are happy with this solution." K.O. turned to Elie. "Thanks for the idea."

"Not at all." Elie replied, and she could take her eyes off the tent. "It became more flashy than I originally thought."

Well, the tent was surely unusual, especially the color schemes. The body of the tent was sewn from the orange-red flowery patterned part of the balloon. The cover was made of the blue-green-yellow patches. The red-orange material was enough for two, double sized, warm sleeping bags. Anyone with common tastes would have found the color scheme disgusting. But the cheering voices coming from the tent suggested that the twins liked the tent.

"Kids usually don't care about the color scheme." K.O. noted.

Electra looked at the old man skeptically. She even remembered what kind of condemnation the twins had made because they didn't like the color of the tent, chosen by the other.

"If we go towards Halogen Kingdoms, we can jump in for textile dye. You will be a little less hurt your eyes by the color of the tent."

"Good idea!" She smiled to the old man. "Valerie! Conrad! Do you want to come out? We need to fin a good parking place!"

The twins left their new, pardon reused tent, and before they could make another argument, Elie asked Conrad, to store the tent into his hand device.

"His storage space are bigger!" She justified her decision for the upset Valerie.

Time was running until the evening festival. They found a good parking place, to their surprise next to the Toyama family, so Valerie immediately joined the three girls to play with jumping rope. Conrad also disappeared somewhere after a conversation on his hand device. K.O. made him promised that he would join them at sunset. This way the adults could relax, and talk to the others. It was a pleasant afternoon.

"What are you wearing?" Elie asked in surprise, when Valerie came home at sunset.

"It is a yukata." The girl replied. "Miya's mother lent it to me. Isn't it beautiful?"

Elie nodded. The flowery garment was nice after all, and looked good on Valerie.

"Take care of the clothes!" She warned the girl, and Valerie cheerfully nodded.

Conrad and K.O. also returned from the shower, which Conrad still didn't like, but he was so dirty, after playing football in the afternoon, that he really needed to take. K.O. praised Valerie's dress, and told Elie, that there was a spare blanket under the staircase. After getting the blanket, they began to find their place on the festival.

K.O. was right, the shops were all open, and sold various things for the people, and the mass of the people was amazing. The twins wanted to buy everything, so Elie and K.O. had hard time to dissuade them for the most tripe, they had chosen. As a last resort, they were given huge, colorful lollipops that seized them so much that they didn't want to buy everything.

The darkness won over, when they reached their designated spot. The meadow was full with families in a safe distance from each other. There were familiar ones. Conrad waved happily to boys, and Valerie also discovered one of her friends from the playground.

"When are we going to fly them?" Conrad asked impatiently.

"There will be the official firework parade at first." Elie replied, as she was reading the page of the event. "This is followed by a parade of big companies and families, and only then can we fly ours."

"Why can't they start with the little ones and then continue with the big ones?" He growled in frustration.

"Look! It has started!" K.O. told him, when he heard a hissing sound.

He was right. In the next moment a huge, orange bulb were exploded on the sky, and leaving orange stripes, than vanished. The next ones followed that in the next moment, but that time with orange bulbs, the next one was green, and blue, and there were a lot of them with different colors. Meanwhile Elie founded the music, recommended on the official page, and they could enjoy the show with music. The performance was long, with a lot of fireworks, and ended with a white waterfall-like element.

"It was gorgeous!" Valerie clasped.

"It was the biggest one." Elie nodded. "Next up on fireworks for companies and families will be smaller, but those are always interesting too."

Elie was right. There were smaller fireworks shows with music. The twins couldn't even recognize the musics and the companies, but K.O. and Elie told them, where on the globe the companies were from. The variety of the families were even bigger. Conrad and Valerie sometimes didn't even recognize the countries, they were told. But the sight of fireworks prevented them from mourning their incomplete geographical knowledge. They were all beautiful, and the shapes, the colors were different in each group.

"Whoaa!" This was the most gorgeous one!" Conrad was amazed. "The dinosaurs were moving!"

"Unfortunately, Elie's hand device went wrong, the sounds of the music would complete the dinosaurs!" Valerie said, but didn't mind, some sound were heard from the neighborhood.

"Sorry, the battery slid on its place." Elie told them, and put back the back cover of her hand device. K.O. patted her shoulder. He was aware, that the hand device didn't went wrong, only Elie didn't want to the kids heard the name of the Noble family. She was right because it would have really ruined the beautiful evening.

The time had finally come for everyone to light their own rockets. Since K.O. and Conrad was unable to tell the colors of the rockets, everybody chose one of them. Valerie' choice was orange, Elie's was blue, K.O.'s was white, and Conrad chose the yellow one. The big flowers were blooming, one after the other on the sky.

"We have one more. The golden one" Valerie said, and gave the last one to Elie. "This is yours, for the tent!" She said, and Conrad nodded. Although he wanted to fire the last one, he agreed with Valerie in a moment. Elie deserved to be able to ignite the last one.

They only fired rockets in just a few places when Elie launched the golden rocket, so their last fireflower was very spectacular.
