Ch. 8 Nick Part 4

Not sure what to do with my arms, I start to set them down at my side. But before I can do that, Nick grabs them and sets them back on him.

"U-um," I say quietly.

"Shhh, go to sleep." Nick says even though the sun's starting to rise outside.

'AFTER ALL THAT YOU REALLY EXPECT ME TO GO TO SLEEP??' I think to myself. 'I can't believe I'm letting his head just sit on my chest like this.'

"Haha, your heartbeat just sped up a lot. Whatcha thinkin' about?'" Nick smiles and looks up at me.

"U-uh, nothing..." I say looking away.

"Hmm, it must be something," Nick continues to smile and raises up my shirt to draw lightly on my stomach with his finger.

"Nope, i-it's definitely nothing." I say, making strong eye contact with the ceiling.

"Haha, even faster now." He suddenly takes his arms and squeezes my waist close again-- burying his face in my stomach. Then he sticks his ear back on my chest and chuckles.

"You sure its nothing?" He stares at me, smirking.

I stare back with wide eyes. "...yes?"

"Ah, so thats how it is." Nick sits up, criss cross applesauce.

Confused, I sit up too. Immediately, he picks me up and sets me in his lap.

"U-uh, um..." I stutter.

Nick pulls me in super close. Finally my instincts come back and I try to get out, but its too late.

I look up.

Nick has a familiar look on his face--- the haughty look he constantly shoots me at school. But this time its raised to an all new level, as if there's no way I could escape from whatever's about to happen to me.

'Now I'm really confused. I thought he only did this stuff to get the girls at school to hate me or something. But they aren't here so why-'

My thoughts are interrupted by a sharp feeling on the side of my neck which lasts for a long moment. Then it fades away as Nick's face pulls away from my neck.

"There," Nick says.

"'There' what?" I asked confused.

Nick softly touches the side of my neck. "You're all mine now."

"Huh? Nick what are you talking about?"

"Hahaha, you're even calling me 'Nick' now." Nick says.

I cover my mouth. 'I have no clue what he's talking about, but when did I start calling him Nick?'
