Rule the Waves

Maria was in a lab with a bunch of others. They were all working hard on something that they thought was impossible but not her. She was asked by an unknown figure about what if what they were doing wasn't right. She responded:

"I don't think it is right. I would never even suggest it's creation. This being said, what if someone else gets their hands on this. A corrupt company, a messed up country, or just a psychopath. We can't have that happen. This is a good thing."

She was startled when she woke up to York at 5:00. She was talking in her usual manner about how the day has come for "Nullify Null". She wasn't listening to York though, she was still focused on her nightmares she had. They have been happening every 2 days, it was weird. She never remembered being in that lab. Was she being gaslit?

York rushed out of the room and into Booth's room. With a yawn, Maria got ready. For many, this was a day for national pride, drinking, and remembrance (mainly the first two), not for them. Today was the day Null talked about those days ago, and they know it isn't a trap by the conflict with them in the ally. Shipman saw on the news what happened with Null and the limos. The News cited that the information would be cited at The Square. That was they're location, they were ready.

"IS TIME TAH SAV DA KING!" she shouted at the top of her lungs toward Booth.

"This is a hotel, York," groaned Booth, getting up slowly from his bed "Stop yelling."

"Sory," she whispered "Is time."

As she tip-toed out the room, Booth got up to get ready. He had learned that shotguns wreak Null up, so that's what he's bringing. This means he has to face Null up front, but it should be enough. His Remington was fully loaded with extra shells just in case. For him, that is all he needs.

"Shotman, Shotman, Shotman wak op." York whisper shouted. "Tahay the hay."

Shipman wasn't asleep, unlike the others, she had been up all night. Shipman knew what day it was, and she dreaded its arrival. She glanced at York's cast, and reminded Shipman about what she was going to face.

"I guess it is." Shipman tiredly claimed.

"Dat monstar it gona git wat if deservef." York said with pride "Id will't git tah lae an hend on da king."

"Well I got to get ready then." Shipman said with an exhausted smile.

"Yah no wat ya gona us den?" York asked.

"I got a lasso." Shipman blandly claims.

"Wat god tas dat to?" York asked.

"You'll see Audrey," Shipman vaguely says "you'll see."

They talk a bit more before York leaves the room and enters her room. She is supposed to be "Home Base" for the others, but she has other plans, and a secret up her sleeve. The other 3 exit their rooms and discuss their plan. To sum it up, Shipman stays in the crowd while Maria and Booth. As they exit, Shipman askes Maria a question to lighten the mood.

"So," Shipman asked "Do we have to call you Katarzyna now?"

"Nah," Maria replies "You can if you want, Belle."

After that, Maria, Belle and Booth leave for The Square early, for the announcement starts at 15:30. This gives them time to set up everything they need and scout the area. Meanwhile, York waits. She is waiting for it to be 12:00, So she can put her own plan into action.

It is 5am. Null powers up from restoration, a process which takes energy from many minor things around them. They remember that they must go by Robert. Robert goes down ventures around the palace. As Robert does his daily paces, He runs into Ella Jackson (not in the killing or violent way.)

"GAH!" Ella was surprised by Robert's sudden appearance. "I didn't see you there, 'Paddy'."

"I did." Robert says "and I don't know why we have to use these fake names, like 'Union Jack'"

"It shows them that we are representative of their countries." Union Jack Ella explained.

"Whatever Jack," Robert says. "What is your jar covered suit and you doing this early?"

"Other than getting used to being in this awkward suit that helps trigger my powers," Union Jack responds. "I am thinking about the speech, and if that... thing shows up."

"No doubt in my mind it will." Robert says. "I do know from my sources that they have minions that will most likely show up to the speech."

"Minions?" Union Jack asked in shock. "Who are they?"

"A stupid English woman, a cocky American man with a shotgun, and a cowardice indonesian woman." Robert says. "I'll tell you if I spot them."

"Okay," Union Jack responds, fidgeting with the jars of water on her suit. "The Villains won't beat the Isle Team!"

Jack walks around the towering Robert and goes to the training zone to most likely break another dummy. Robert heads toward the kitchen to get breakfast ready, Irish stew. As the clock hits 9:15am, King Benjamin and Taoiseach Kelly head down stairs and into the kitchen.

"Good morning' your highness... and Cara Kelly." Robert says. "I have made breakfast. It is Irish Soup."

"Why thank you, Paddy." King Benjamin regally says "I will try the grody sewer water."

"Hold on Ben." Kelly halted. "How do we know you did poison it?"

"For the last time Kelly," King Benjamin states. "Paddy has been here for 5 days and has not done anything that would lead to you or me getting injured.

"Fine," Kelly replied. "But I'm not trying the soup."

They continue to eat as Robert exits the palace. He did poison the soup, the killing will be done later. He was told yesterday to set up The Square for the announcement. As he made his way to the setup, He spotted Wilson "Loch Ness" MacGavin.

"'Ey Paddy!" Loch shouts. "Have ya met Causeway yet?"

"No," Robert says "They're gonna be at the announcement?"

"Yeah, just was wondering." Loch states. "Help me set this stuff up."

as Robert helped out he continued a conversation. While they talked, Robert saw Maria and walked up to them.

"You are Maria Katarzyna, aren't you?" Robert asks

Maria froze and turned to the behemoth that was in front of her. Robert could read the internal panic on her face.

"Umm, yes." Maria responded.

"Wait," Loch butted in on the conversation. "You are the author of Sallow's Journal and was at the Mascheracheaiuti last year?" Loch eagerly asked.

"I didn't write Sallow's Journal, I translated and published the journal from another world." Maria responded. "And I did attend the Mascheracheaiuti last year."

"Well my friend here Paddy was there as well, as a guard." Loch fangirled over Maria. "Also I love Sallow's Journal and the possibility of time travel."

Maria stared at Null. "I bet they were." She said to herself. "Also my theory is that Sallow didn't succeed in his quest."

Robert stared at Maria with his no existent eyes. Booth and Shipman were in the background watching the awkward conversation turn out. Booth begins to walk off into the crowd.

"Where are you going?" Shipman asks nervously.

Booth turns toward Shipman and turns on the mobile radio. "Hey York, can you tell Shipman what the plan is again?" Booth says passive aggressively into the radio. There is no response. "York, are you there?"

Shipman grabs Booth's radio and says "over" into it. York's voice pops out the radio.

"We have to have Belle stay in the crowd while Maria and James go from behind, over." York responds.

While this is happening, the transmission is sent to Maria's radio as well. She stops talking and picks up the radio.

"I have to take this, we can talk after the announcement." Maria says as she walks away.

"Okay then," Null said, "We'll see you... soon."

After Maria left, Loch turned to Robert and continued to set up the stage.

"Isn't it crazy that you could possibly travel to different multiverses?" Loch says.

"Yeah, crazy," Robert said sarcastically. "Let's just get this stage set up.

It is 15:20. The announcement is about to happen. Behind the stage is The King and Taoiseach. Among them is the SPTF, including Paddy, Loch Ness, Causeway, and their leader, Union Jack. Causeway seems to be familiar to Robert with a look like the brailian president He killed a couple months ago. Causeway is John Johnson, but how? Null thought he killed him in Rio. that isn't important, for the plan is about to start.

Behind them is Booth. Booth has his shotgun ready with a bayonet on it for extra (unnecessary) punch. He has been told if anyone says the code would "HIT IT!" to charge onto the stage and attack Null. While He is mainly driven by the promise of a million dollars, he also wants to see this super durable foe fall. He is waiting with his finger on the trigger.

Behind Booth is York. She knows (or thinks) they won't be able to take down Null with just 3 people. She had also wanted to get a rematch with Null, feeling that an attack on the king is an attack on her. She also had gotten a steel gauntlet to cover her right arm. It is supposed to help the healing process of her arm, but York has a different idea.

Taoiseach CK starts the speech.

"First things first," Kelly starts. "Tá súil agam go raibh lá iontach Naomh Pádraig agat. Deoch níos fearr go freagrach. Ní fearr an Rí ar mhaithe leis féin!" The crowd laughs. "Scéalta grinn ar leataobh, b'fhéidir go bhfaca tú figiúr ollmhór ag ionsaí duine atá ag gluaiseacht go tapa." CK continues. "Is iad seo baill an tascfhórsa nua ardchumhachta! Tá siad anseo chun stop a chur leis na hionsaithe leanúnacha ón Party Killer. B'fhéidir fiú iad a thógáil síos. Anois, tá Benny anseo chun a thaispeáint duit cé hiad na daoine seo."

"Thanks Kelly," King Ben starts. "First is the leader, Union Jack." UJ runs out from behind the stage. "Jack here has the power to strengthen when near water." King Benjamin explains.

"Ahem," Jack preps herself for her part of the speech. "I am Union Jack. You can call me Jack, UJ, or anything really. I can, like The King said, get strength from nearby water. I am the leader of the SPTF. I am the english representative."

No one says anything for the next 5 seconds. After the silence which was supposed to be filled with clapping, Loch stands up to introduce himself.

"I am Loch Ness, or just LN." Loch breaks the silence. "I have the power to shake about anything violently. I am the only one that is part of the team that came here not in a plane. I am the Scotish rep."

The crowd fills with light applause. Loch smiles and then walks backstage to take a rest, not spotting Booth.

"I am Causeway," Causeway exclaims to the crowd. "I have the ability to duplicate myself and what I have on me. I am the only one in the team that didn't take an experi-" The King gives a glaring glance. "Oldest member of the SPTF. I am the..." He looked at the crowd. "Welsh representative of SPTF."

As another wave of silence reaches the crowd, Null walks up to the front of the stage.

"I go by many names, Paddy, Robert, Frank, Hanna, Carlos, Aiden, Null, and 'TK'." Null says, saying the last name in a whisper. The CK whispers to themself about how they wish they got the Prime Minister of the UK instead of The King. "I don't have any mythical powers," Null continues. "But you don't understand modern military grade tech."

Booth whispers into his radio "Now?"

"Not yet." Maria quietly responds.

"I can't wait to pop him like a balloon," Booth replies. No one says anything back.

"I am the only member of SPTF that has a body count of 99." Null turns to the CK "And t would be nice i-"

As the crowd was still in shock, a loud female voice yelled from the crowd. It was loud. It was Maria. It was 2 words, "HIT IT!".

Booth busted out from behind the corner with his Remington. He turned toward Null and pointed the shotgun at Null. Null stuck his hands up. Loch and Jack ran out from backstage.

"I would stop if I were you," Null states calmly. "I can take that, but I doubt CK or the King will."

Booth almost lowers his gun, but then brings it back up. "Then let's take this away from them then." He responds.

Null lowers his hands and turns to Jack.

"What is going on?" Jack whispers. "Who is this dude?"

"Remember what I said about the cocky american?" Null said.

Jack shot Null off the stage and the crowd dispersed. The only people who stayed were cameramen, Shipman, and Maria. Jack tackled Booth and called the rest of the SPTF to help.

"I AM HELPING YOU!" Booth shouts, pushing Jack off him.

"You shot a government official." Loch states trying to take the shotgun away from Booth.

As the Loch and Jack struggle to fight Booth, Null got up from the shot and had less damage then last time they got shot with a shotgun. Null saw Shipman and Maria.

"Professor, love day isn't it?" Null states blandly, giving up is irish accent for a mixture of his victims' voices.

"It is," Maria responds. "You left the VIPs to escape and you have engaged in a 1v2."

Null stares back to see guards escorting the King and Taoiseach toward the car. They swear to themselves.

"John!" Null shouts at Causeway, who is hiding in the corner. "I gotta protect the Taoiseach, take care of the terrorists!"

Causeway approaches them and prepares himself while Null runs at a surprisingly fast speed toward the VIPs.

"I gotta stop them," Maria says while running off. "Cover me!"

Shipman and Causeway are left in a standoff as Maria chases Null. Booth gets the shotgun ripped from his hands and Loch uses his powers to break the gun.

"Now," Jack exhaustedly said. "You are under arrest for attempted assassintation."

"WE ARE IN IRELAND!" Booth shouts, "AREN'T YOU A BRITISH?!"

"Ya still tried to kill an irishman." Loch exclaimed while holding down Booth.

Booth pulls out a glock 19 and fires it through Loch 2 time in the shoulder. "You guys are insane!" Booth pushing Loch off his body then pointed it at Jack.

"Make a move." Shipman says, getting in a pencak silat battle stance. Then she gets a good look at him. "I thought you died."

Causeway stopped standing at their cowardice stance. "I do from time to time." Causeway states. "But I really don't."

Shipman pulls out her lasso. "I don't have the time for this." She says.

"Then I guess you are gonna have to free up your schedule." Causeways maniacally responds.

A blob comes off of Causeway, shaping into another Causeway. This kept happening until Shipman was surrounded by 10.

Null catches up to the limo in the middle of 2 armored vehicles. The van leading the escort has a gunner pop out of the stop and start firing a SA80. As the bullets bounce off Null, they stick their arm into the rim of the limo, stopping it from further movement. After that, Null hops onto the van and tosses the gunner out the van which is still slowing down. Null pushes the armed vehicle into the way of the other one, having the moving one swerve off to a different road. Null looks at the gunner, who is minorly scraped.

"Ná gortaigh mé le do thoil!" The gunner cries.

"Congratulations," Null states apathetically. "You are number 100."

Null stomps on the gunner's head. They turn backwards and walk toward the limo.

Jack rushes Booth until he throws Loch's unconscious body at her.

"Take your friend to the hospital, sicko." Booth says repulsed.

"I can't stop until the people are prot-" Jack proudly claims.

Booth fires a shot into the sky, then points it at Jack.

"Fine, I'll be back!" Jack says, running off with Loch's bleeding out body.

Booth runs off toward the fight between Shipman and Causeway (and Causeway and Causeway and etc). As the Group of Causeways surrounded Shipman like a pack of wolves, Both the Causeways and Shipman heard a loud bang. One of the Causeway's fell over face first revealing a bullet in the back of his head and Booth with his gun.

"Huh," One of the Causeways states. "Looks like we got 2 lamb for the sla-".

He stops speaking in hearing a battle cry from a not that far away. York delivers a running punch to Causeway with her right hand, killing him.

"MEAK DAT TREE!" York screams.

With the 8 other Causeways still alive, The Darecays take care of 7 of them, Shipman lassos the last one.

"Now," Shipman pants "Any last words, or can we make a deal?"

"Killing me won't do anything," Causeway states. "I have a clone in the limo, so I'll see you la-"

Booth shoots the head of Causeway. Shipman stares at Booth while York stares at her own hands.

"Let's go catch up with Maria." Booth says, walking toward the direction the vans went.

"Booth," Shipman sighs. "We could've got more information from him."

"We don't have time to play 20 questions." Booth responds. "Now, let's get to the target before Maria dies.

"I hate you." Shipman says exhaustedly. She turns to York and sees her in a stunned state. "Hey Audrey, are you okay?" Shipman asks.

"I killed this dude 3 times." York looks up toward Shipman. "And he is still alive?"

"We'll see." Shipman responds. "We'll see."

Null walks up to the stopped limo and rips open the top. This action reveals 2 guards, Causeway, CK, and The King. The 2 Guards point their guns at Null.

"Don't worry," Null states. "I took care of the terrorist."

"Bréaga, kill him before he hurt us!" CK panics.

"Hold on." Causeway interrupts. "These are British royal guards, not Irish. Plus, Paddy saved us from the terrorist."

"He's right in both ways." The King responded. "Lower your guns."

The two guards lower their rifles and stand to the side of the van. Causeway walks out the limo and shakes Null's hand. As the king is about to speak, Maria arrives at the location of the broken limo, covered in sweat.

"Null, let's talk." Maria says after taking a good couple breathes.

"TK!" Null blandly says. "Your killing spree is over."

"Yeah!" adds Causeway.

As Null walks slowly up to Maria, Causeway runs up and punches Null in the face. This knocks them over, but Null gets back up. Null stares with it's faceless metal face at Causeway, who is holding their hand in pain. Null grabs Causeway and rips him apart. Another Causeway appears behind Null. Null tosses Causeway into the nearby beach.

"I'll deal with the VIPs, then Causeway." Null states. "I don't have the time to fight right now"

Null turns to the King, who is running away from the scene. Null gets shot in the head by a rifle of the guards. Null rushes them and tosses the guard at the other guard. Maria picks up the drop rifle and bashes Null with it. The rifle breaks on impact and Null doesn't flinch. He tosses Maria toward the limo and runs off to The King. Once Null catches up with The King, they pummel Ben to death, then runs toward the beach.

Maria slowly gets up from being thrown at a limo. CK peaks out of the limo door and looks around to make sure Null is gone. She walks out and sees Maria.

"Are you okay?" CK asks politely.

"I'm not dead or bleeding, so I'm fine." Maria responded.

"Shite," CK says as she sees the king's body. "I knew he was evil. Null was it?"

"The big metal dude? yes. Me? No." Maria jokingly says.

"Well, thanks for trying, but we should get out of here before they come back." CK explained as she climbed out of the limo."

As This is said, 3 people are seen running toward the limo. It is the other Darecays.

They check on Maria and CK. York sees the body of the King and is enraged. They make their way to the palace to recover from the event that just happened.

Null is on the beach, people flee from the beach. Null grabs Causeway and sticks him inside the spiky suit. Causeway can't clone himself in that small space and begs for Null to release them.

"I'LL TELL YOU WHERE DEFIMANIME IS, PLEASE!" Causeway begs.

Null enjoyed the screams of pain and learned it much rather watch people suffer than instantly kill them. Once Null heard about this "Defimanime", it was interested. Null pulled Causeway out of himself and Causeway cloned himself, heavily panting. Null stomped on the dying body and turned to the health Causeway.

"Elaborate." Null demanded.
