Jack: "Could you elaborate?"

Tethys: "Yes, it is time I explain your current situation as of now. You, Jack Galloway, have been chosen by me, Goddess Tethys, to become the first member of my new reincarnated familia."

Jack: "A familia? As the ones from Danmachi?"

Tethys: "Similar but not quiet. I am a Goddess that is recruiting people to join together in a group, but instead of a Falna, my children will be allowed a total of three wishes, and instead of adventuring in a dungeon, you will get a chance to reincarnate into another world of your choosing."

Jack: "Wow....., that sounds pretty awesome. Does this mean there are other Gods and Goddesses with their own familia? And you said "first member," am I the first to be given this chance?"

Tethys: "Yes to both questions. There are other Gods with their own familia's, consisting of people from different worlds/universes that piqued their interest and you are one of the first people I planned on giving this chance. Along with other potential candidates, I have been watching the life you lived for quite a while Jack, and since you were the first to past due too unfortunate circumstances, you will be the first I to join my familia with open arms. You of course have the right to decline this opportunity, and spend your time in my afterlife that each God has for their familia. Now that you are informed of this opportunity, what will you do Jack?"

I take a few moments to comprehend her words and think carefully on what I should do. I have read these kinds of fanfics before, but to think reincarnation exist and is grander then most expected.

I've had conversations related to this subject before with my siblings and friends when we asked each other 'what would you do if you could reincarnate?'

I immediately think to my favorite anime, RWBY, and what I would have wanted to do in that world if given the chance. After a bit of thinking, I respond.

Jack: "First, I want to thank you, not just for this amazing opportunity but also for comforting me when grieving. And as for what I will do, I would be a great privilege to become a part of your familia. Oh, and would you rather I call you Goddess Tethys or just Tethys?"

I might sound too accepting to this offer but like I said, she comforted me and helped me in a time of need. In my family, said person would be recognized as a trusted friend.

Tethys: "Hahahaha. You can call me Tethys. And I am glad that you accepted my proposal and as someone who loves to plan ahead, I can tell you have plans to enjoy your new life to the fullest. So as for your wishes and what world you would like to be reincarnated too, along with other info for your rebirth, what are they?"

Jack: "I would like to be sent to the World of Remnant. As for my wishes, I first wish to be reincarnated as Jacques Gelé, no transmigration. For my second wish, I wish for my semblance to be a hybrid of the water breathing sword style from demon slayer and water bending from Avatar, both being more versatile then originally in their respective worlds. For my last wish, I wish for my body to be created by you, with my aura, for when I unlock it, to have the same calm and comforting aura you emit."

I never liked Jacques. He was one of the main antagonist in RWBY who caused extreme pain to not just his family, but too many Faunus he discriminated and enslaved, just because he inherited the Schnee name due to him tricking Willow Schnee and her father Nicholas Schnee. Based on my world's history, as well as other fanfics I have read, on slavery, discrimination, and racism, I cannot even imagine of the horrors he and others committed because of their belief in their own supremacy. And while most of Jacques' family background is a mystery, I know that I can make an enormous difference if what some theories were true. Plus, with my knowledge and wishes, I might be able to live longer life, maybe even find someone.

I don't mind re-accomplishing my dream again in a different world and more, but I never had chance to find a loving partner due to spending most of my life on preparing my plans and inventions for the world.

Exiting my thoughts, I notice Tethys stare at me with a shocked face then goes into deep thought with her right hand holding her chin.

Tethys: "Hmmm, I expected the World of Remnant as much watching your life, your first and second wish are quite capable, with you having the option to changing your appearance. However, what is surprising is how you want ME to create your body. Are you certain of this?"

Jack: "I trust you Tethys. You know everything about me (not in a weird way), so I believe you recognize what kind of body I've always wanted when reincarnating into Remnant. Plus, I would complicate my description since I've always been more of a visualizer."

Tethys: *smiles* "Thank you Jack. It's nice to hear that from you, being my first Familia member and all. I will do my best with creating your body, based on your preferences and a little bit of my own tweaking. Now time for your appearance."

A screen suddenly pops into existence. It seems to be a basic character customization screen, but more advanced and a search bar!

I choose to make my appearance similar to Arthur Pendragon from "Seven Deadly Sins" since I always liked his character design. I make it so my hair is black but with golden tips at the end. I customize my eyes to be a mix of solid deep cobalt blue and ocean blue that glow whenever I use my semblance. Satisfied with my appearance, I swipe and a huge check mark appears with the disappearance of the screen.

Tethys: "It seem everything in order, all that remains is too send you on your new life. Do you have anything else to say or change at the last minute Jack?"

Jack: "No, I thought carefully about this and am prepared to accept my new life. However, before I go want to ask you something. Are there moments when the Familia will meet up with each other and see you again?"

Tethys: "Yes, but only after a certain point in time in your individual worlds will the rest of the Familia will be able to meet or even explore your own worlds if need be. Also, if you manage to find a lover/lovers, as long as he or she agrees, you may bring them with you to the afterlife, as well as your family and friends. Now if that is it, then I will be sending you off now, it was nice meeting you Jack."

Jack: "Thank you and too you as well Tethys, see you and my Familia whenever."

I am then consumed in darkness once again but with a smile on my face.

Jack: 'Oum is this what it feels to be birthed with full awareness of ones body. It hurts, but it's not completely unbearable. And why did I just say "Oum." Oh wait, it doesn't hurt anymore, I think I'm out.'

I am then enveloped in light with a frown on my face from the pain of being birthed. Probably should have requested to gain consciousness at a certain age, oh well, at least I can get a look at who my parents are.

Nurse: "Congratulations Mrs. Gelé, you have birthed a healthy baby boy."

I then feel enveloped in a pair of warm arms. As my vision gets less blurry, I see the motherly smile of a beautiful women with blue eyes and long black hair with gold tips.

(AN: I will be making some stuff up in Jacques' family background since there wasn't much to begin with, but hey that's fan-fiction.)

Mom: "My precious boy, from this moment on your name is Jacques Gelé."

As I stare into her loving eyes, I start thinking of my mother, Rose. I knew when I accepted to be reincarnated that I would have 'new' mother, but I just see as now having being blessed with two loving mothers. The mother who raised me in my previous life and gave me this mind and will of my own goal, and now the mother front of me that gave me this body and second life.

Jack: 'Now that I know who my mother is, where is my father? I have a feeling of what is to come from him. For now though my mind is a bit tired, probably from the birth, I'll sleep now and then find out who my father is.'

(8 years later)

The beginning of my new life was pretty neat, beside acting and being a baby. Now I know how the MC's that were reborn as infants felt in those fanfics.

Besides that, I've gotten to bond with my mother, Nico Gelé, pretty well. She was the CEO of the "Gelé Industries" a little manufacturing Industry that has helped with my current generations transformation weapons, and other miscellaneous technology. Our residence is not like the Schnee residence, but I never liked spacious houses so I'm not complaining.

Gelé Industries network system is not as grand as Jacques' SDC network, but that will change in the future.

Honestly this works best for me since I have experience in the engineering industry. With my knowledge and inventions I created my previous world, I can create sustainable energy sources and do some great things for this world. Not that this Remnants technology isn't good, but the kingdoms, especially Atlas, is too reliant on dust. "Just because something works does not mean it cannot be improved."

Oum I miss Black Panther. Maybe I should remake the marvel series? Not like I can get copyrighted.

Anyway.

Now for the father of Jacques which in turn is now my father, Norman Charna. Let's just say "Like Father Like Son".

Although Jacques made his own choices, choices that hurt many people, his arrogance and racism definitely came from his father. For one, while growing up he did not care if I was around when he was on one of his racist rants and even tried to brainwash me into believing it.

Which may have worked on the original Jacques but not this one! I just mainly ignore him and hum when he expects an agreement to his rants.

I also learned how he married into my mothers family for the same reason original Jacques did, to take the name for higher status and wealth.

I don't know how my mother fell for him, but the same could be said for Willow as well. He has already taken the CEO position from my mother, but made it seem as he had no choice.

. . . . . My mother is bed-ridden due to a sickness and has been for while, it's not life-threatening but it got in the way of her work so she passed it to Norman thinking he would do good.

But Norman seems to be quite the actor.

When in my mothers presence, which is not that often, he makes it sound like he is preserving her name, but in reality he has been corrupting it, to an extent.

Our family name is not as influential as the Schnee's, so he's not enslaving Faunus, thankfully, but instead has created policies that discriminated against them. Not only that, he's been making some illegal deals/trades to some not so friendly employers. I'll have to attend to that once I overthrow him.

Oh did I not mention how I know this? Well, I've been sneaking into his office in our residence and copying his illegal transactions documents and other paperwork that pinpoint to him corrupting my mother's name without her knowledge or consent.

Honestly I can't wait to unlock my semblance so I can heal my mother and expose him together.

For the past eight years, I have been tending to my mother's needs while she has been bed-ridden. If Original Jacques and Norman didn't do this for her, she would be at a much worse state. Medication isn't doing anything for her and while she isn't suffering physically, she is mentally. I mean who could blame her, she can't move most of the time and Norman is treating my mother as if she doesn't exist, with only little interaction and almost no attention to her condition.

On another note, most of you are probably wondering what I've been doing in terms of progress and learning.

(AN: Don't worry I'm not going to include some School arc or whatever.)

For starters, when started walking at six months of age, I began doing light training while increasing the difficulty as I got older. I've practiced basic martial arts training for mobility and precision, but no weapon training yet. I have also been reading in the house library learning as much as I can about the technology of my current generation, history, and aura.

The technology is not that bad, but still over-reliant on dust. They haven't tried the relay satellite yet so that's something to plan for.

Also, suffice to say, I am extremely disappointed with the history of Mistral and Mantle, the part that became Atlas today, during the great war and even now with Mistral being a black market and all, but thankfully Vacuo hasn't been drained of their resources, or rather it won't since I AM HERE!

Sorry I just had to do it.

As for my aura, I want to unlock it so I can start utilizing it efficiently for my martial arts training and weapon training. However, as a precaution in case my aura pool is larger than the average huntsmen, I have some theories that could help.

(AN: I'm calling the amount of aura a person holds "aura pool," hope that's acceptable.)

The reason for the caution is because Remnant did not discover how Grimm are attracted to large aura pools, like moths to a light, until after the fall of Beacon. And while we are well protected from a somewhat lack of Grimm, I don't want to become the reason for a sudden increase. Plus, my theories could also lead to many more discoveries of the potential for aura if I am successful.

For those wondering, my family and I live in a town called Rima within the Continent of Anime south of Shion. A cave system lays in outskirts of the town. The cave does not have much dust but contains many different ores, metal, and alloys. Not as much as Atlas resources but still quite a lot.

Now to my current setting.

(Third POV)

Near a river stream, a boy with an small athletic build for his age is seen crossed legged on the ground in a meditative position. Jack, our MC, is currently in the middle of a trial and error process in unlocking his aura. He has tried different ways as to finding his 'soul' within his body and releasing his aura based on energy unlocking processes he has seen different anime and shows.

But then he thought of something. If aura comes from the soul, then the closest to being the soul would be the brain. Think about it, even if the heart suddenly stopped, a person would still be conscious, even if for short amount of time, because the brain functions do not stop. However, if the brain no longer functioned or was destroyed, the soul is no longer within the body.

Following this thought, Jack then starts focusing his consciousness towards his brain and the part of the body that connect signals from the brain to the rest of the body, the spinal cord. If his new theory is correct then-

*burst*

A sudden gush of wind is expelled from Jack as his body is no surrounded by a color representing waves of pure blue water, his aura has been unlocked and its pool is huge.

Jack: "I didn't expect my aura pool to be this large. When I started focusing my consciousness into my brain and spinal cord, I started 'seeing' this orb of light. Then when I touched it, it was like this refreshing, powerful, energy started expelling itself from the orb and started spreading throughout my entire body. Can this be explored further? Curiosity for later, I need to do something our my aura will attract some Grimm."

(Tethys' Void)

Meanwhile, as Jack was unlocking his aura and finding ways to hide his massive aura pool, we see Tethys viewing many different screens as a way for looking for new members for her familia.

However, she soon raises her head as her eyes widen when suddenly sensing Jack's recent accomplishment. She gives a warm and proud smile.

Tethys: "It seem Jack has started to scratch the surface of the true capabilities of his new body. It is both exciting and nerve-racking as to how grand your feats will be in this world, Jack."
