The Stepping Stones

The news of that murder spread and soon more weak people from that sect came after me. I wouldn't have killed them since I was guilty but they triggered my fighting spirit when they uttered my favorite line before the fight even began. 


"Unknown pugilist, you shouldn't have killed that external elder of our sect. You failed to recognize Mt. Tai in front of your eyes. Now be prepared to give your life to amend your mistakes." 


I said and punched them. Similar to the old guy earlier... they died quite easily too. 


After that, I ran away from that Kingdom, not because I was afraid of fighting more of them but because they were just... too weak. 


I didn't want more blood on my hands. I was already feeling quite guilty. 


But later, I heard the news that the sect master of that sect had issued a bounty on my head and was intent on finding me.
