and it all seems like a dream to me.

In my dreams...

-Just Perry

a bittersweet mirage

tempting my cold heart,

My thoughts are swirling in circles

But no reward if I cross start

shadows of what was

or what could have been

Still rolling dices

Trying to uncover the unseen

Whispers of the past

are drawing me in

tangles my memories

touched my chilled skin

Cravings, so hard to neglect

sleeping to survive

just want to close my eyes

Because in my dream you are still alive

'you must be Light' she smiled sweetly.

She was the most beautiful person I've seen. She was a tall,porcelain-skinned woman with an oval-shaped face and a pointy chin. Her flamingo pink eyes matched with her creamy pink hair that was worn in a french braid. She had bony cheeks, a narrow nose, and small ears. Her voice was angelic with that rose pink wings. I would say it matches her personality well. She wore a white and rose pink gown. She had no makeup on. Her face was shining and she had a golden floating halo above her head. I was stunned and couldn't look directly into her face.

I can't look her in the eye. I was simply dumbfounded. Her face was brimming with purity. I finally mustered up the courage to say something. 'hi.'

I said. she smiled and apologized for being rude.

'You're right, I didn't even introduce myself. How ride is that?' I noticed how she bit her nails after she realize that she didn't introduce herself.

'ít's okay. I didn't take it seriously of any kind.' I said calmly.

'i'm Angela. It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm your guardian.' She looked at me pleasantly.

Of course, I wanted to stay cool and composed. but the thought of being adopted by this beautiful angel is just so enticing.

My face automatically wore a big smile.

I said nothing. We kept staring at each other until the doctor nudged me and asked me to introduce myself

'hi, I'm cupid.'

Damn it! That was totally not what I meant.

She chuckled softly. 'I think someone's tongue-tied. Don't worry, it's natural to be scared. You don't need to overthink it Light.'

She is such a benevolent creature. Is everyone like this?? Or is it just me?

'ok,' I said embarrassed. I totally made a fool of myself. I don't know who she is but she is literally going to be my guardian angel. I wonder if that's also one of my human traits.

She left the room with the doctor and nurse.

The atmosphere was still. there was no one around unlike the other times where someone would constantly come to check up on me. The other patients in the other room groaned and complained about how I always got special treatment even though how the doctor despised me.

I thought it was because of my age but the reason was something that left me shook.

'do you want something to eat?' she abruptly changed the subject.

The doctor shot weird looks at me. I assumed it was because I got too curious and decided to drop the question.

'yes.'

She signaled the nurse and spoke to her in another language. I didn't understand her, but somehow I intercepted what she was telling the nurse. it was blurry and unclear, but I still intercepted their message.

She noticed me staring seriously at us and said; 'hey Light don't worry, I just told her to discharge you fast.'

'oh, okay.'

I didn't say anything. Somehow the tongue they spoke seemed familiar.

'what is the tongue you are speaking' I asked.

'oh, it's us cupid's language. Only people who are born and raised in the Cohavian region will know. But I'm sure you will get to learn it sooner or later.' she said.

'you get some rest. I'll be back for you later. okay?' she smiled and exited the room quietly. The doctor cleared his throat. 'okay, light. there is one other person who wants to meet you?'

'who is it?'

'it's the prince of Ahava.' he said calmly.

'excuse me?'
