Trying To Adapt

So Young

"We are sleeping here because it's late already; a night here won't kill you," I said out loud to him.

"You are not serious about this; let's head back to the palace; I will tell Joo to make arrangement tomorrow; get a good place, mostly a better bed." He kept on talking.

I feel like hitting a hammer on his head right now, I feel dizzy watching him talk, and when he finished speaking, I said," Your highness, I won't argue with you, but do you know how far we are from the palace? It's dark too, and all the green snakes will be out by now except you want to marry a female snake?" I lied to him but not a big lie; I read it in folk tales, which might be accurate.

"Tell me you are lying to make me stay with you in there." He said with his eyes all over me.

"You know what, I don't have enough time to argue with you; we are not letting go of the plan, you coming with me, and it's final." I pulled him close and dragged his ear as he begged.
