"You blockhead! Didn't I say we help him?" Lucis raise his voice to match Muzin.

"you mean making an adjustment to his body? You think you're the only person ever thought about it? If it was that easy, everyone is cultivator right now!" Muzin raise the volume again feeling like he's about to lose against Lucis voice.

"then how the fuck I can do that to her? You crab moustache!" Lucis shout again as he point at Suyi.

"you did?" Muzin voice suddenly went low with surprised them he look at Suyi again making Suyi nervous. why did they have to drag her in their quarrel?

"you. there. sit!" Lucis point at the mat close to the fireplace where he or Suyi usually meditate to restore their energy.

Nanji was confused but nevertheless he follow the instruction and sit on the mat innocently, he thought he just made two people fight because of him, even Kuji completely went silent and scared. Only Suyi calmly shaking his head, it a routine for Lucis and Muzin to insult each other and she's pretty much getting used to it.

What Lucis did on Nanji was really simple. He reform his meridian and heal it at the same time, his energy is universal that even normal human can use it with just a bit of amount adjustment.

Everyone sit back calmly staring at Lucis and Nanji expecting something.

After one full hour, Lucis retract his hand and stand up calmly with a smug, not even a sweat on him. Of course Nanji is an exception, his clothes is wet with sweat like he's just been splash by water.

"is it done?" Muzin went over fixing his gaze at Nanji with curiosity.

"should be, you can check his meridian."

Muzin hurriedly take Nanji arm and pour his devine sense and energy with all his focus.

In just a couple of second, Muzin retract his hand with a big frown. "weird... can you sense the world energy?" Muzin asked Nanji.

Nanji quickly close his eyes and use the technique he learned from the clan before.

Every second feels like an hour as they stare at Nanji getting inpatient especially Suyi, after Lucis did something to her previous, she take a week before she can start gathering energy but she can instantly feel the world energy.

Kuji was confused but she just stay quiet since everyone look so serious. She's trying so hard not to crack a joke while waiting for Nanji.

After almost an hour, Nanji finally open his eyes but his breath is so heavy like he just ran through the seven mountains.

"i.. I think I can feel something like air around me sometime but it feels heavy than air at the same time." Nanji said as he wipe the sweat on his face with the already wet clothes he have.

"its warm when it passes through my body." Nanji said with a frown. To be honest, he feel like a wind blowing at him during fever.

"that should be it. You just hasn't able to gather and refine it yet that's why your body still rejecting but your meridian now can gather energy." Muzin said then he look at Lucis with a weird gaze like he's some unknown creature.

"how? You made it look easy." Muzin asked as he circling Lucis a couple time examining his energy wave.

"as long as his body is tough enough to handle the operation, it's easy. Of course I also need his body in good condition but look at him, a healthy young man." Lucis smile as he tap Nanji shoulder.

Nanji smile wryly when Lucis talk about him like Lucis himself is an adult like Muzin. With just one look and everyone can see that Nanji clearly older and mature than Lucis.

"Then can you make my two little brother a cultivator too?" Suyi asked, she was worried that Sukong and Subin will die of old age before her.

"Do you know how to swim without learning about it? Can you throw a baby in the water and expect him to swim back by himself?" Lucis said then he suddenly feel like what he just said sounds like a wise immortal, he really wish he have a majestic beard at this moment.

Everyone went quite looking at Lucis completely have no idea what he talk about while Kuji is struggling holding back from talking, she really have a lot she want to add.

"what he trying to say is their mind need to be cultivated too. You just need to think what's the difference between you or this young man and your brothers." Muzin explained.

"maturity?" Suyi asked towards Muzin.

"understanding." Lucis said quickly before Muzin continue stealing his lime light.

"yes, before you can control your body, you need to be able to understand how it works first." Muzin added. He start wondering how exactly Suyi became cultivator with her shallow understanding.

Just as Muzin suspect, Suyi understanding about cultivating is really shallow than what it should be but her maturity cover that part greatly. She really doesn't know how to use her energy except for simple strengthen body enchantment and simple water spell. Lucis operation in their body made it easy to gather energy with little understanding but he never actually explain how to control and how the conversion can be done in their body.

"like doctor?" Kuji asked. She finally can't hold back anymore from asking it's feel itchy just looking from the sideline.

"erm, something like that..." Muzin scratch his chin and thought about what Kuji asked. Doctor have the general knowledge about human body but they're quite lacking in the depth of individuality, every person is different even if they're twin since birth. How their body grow have a lot to do with how their brain made it.

"to step into the world of cultivation, we're taught about meditation and understanding about one self." Nanji explained. This is part of his training to become energy gathering cultivator that has been thought when he join the small clan before. No one can understand oneself better than by themselves, it's the basic of tempering the cultivator since young.

"Yes, if you join a clan, they will be elder regularly check on you and guide you through your cultivation." Muzin smile. Nanji is a good candidate to be their new clan disciple since he already knew the basic.

Lucis sneer feeling unsatisfied. He cultivate all the way until now without anyone advice and help especially during his foundation building which almost kill him. He once again cursed the god if they really exist.

"unless you're genius... like me." Lucis raise his head proudly.

"Sure..."Muzin said feeling annoyed. "Big family usually have their own elder helping their younger generation before they even join the clan, so if you're lucky and recruited by one of these family, you're pretty much have a smooth journey through your cultivation."

"Like Konan? He have family name so he must be from some powerful family." Kuji said feeling jealous. Why did that guy even come here if he have that powerful background.

"who?" Muzin frowned. He saw the village and he's pretty sure someone from big family wouldn't even bother stepping their feet here.

"Konan Barian, I remember him. He introduced himself to me during the wedding." Suyi added. It's look like Muzin take these big family pretty serious.

"pfft! Hi hi hi hi.. hua ha ha ha ha.." Lucis laying on the couch pressing his stomach feeling like someone tickling him.

"what the hell with that name? Should have added "the" in between his name." Lucis said while continue laughing. Konan remind him if Conan the barbarian.

"Big family sure don't have enough strength to rival any clan but they usually have the backing of one, you should be careful not acting like this to any big family. We never know who's backing them." Muzin said with stern voice. The name is not even funny but Lucis just laughed at it just for the sound of the name.

Nanji especially surprised by Lucis behavior, he just realized that Lucis actually have the easy going personality and lack discipline.

"That name, it sounds like western." Kuji said and trying to think what's so funny about it because she wants to laugh at him too.

"yeah, maybe his ancestor come from the west. That include you, your name sounds like someone from the southeast island country. Your ancestor should be originate from there." Muzin said looking at Kuji.

Kuji instantly stunned. She grow up here and part of hunter family as long as she remembered, how come she suddenly have origin that she doesn't know about?
