Chapter 64 Real Speed

One week after the meeting in Lucis mansion.

The city is quite a distance 6 day from the village and with the recent unrest between cultivator, they take time to prepare for the journey.

In front of Lucis mansion.

Lucis is floating with his back straight and head high up looking proud while Shuzan, Muzin, Suyi and Nanji standing on the ground looking at his back with complicated expression.

"brother, what are we waiting for?" Muzin asked looking at the floating Lucis feeling like something ridiculous about to popped up.

"ha ha ha ha good, goood!" Lucis said as he turn around facing the gang behind him while stroking his black beard.

"That beard look so fake." Muzin said to Shuzan with a low voice.

"fellow daoist, how are you guys today?" Lucis asked stroking his majestic beard and moustache.

"Do is? What's that?" Muzin asked and examine everyone looking for this daoist thing.

"ah, young people these days, have no clue about the world." Lucis shake his head while continue stroking his beard. He enjoyed being look at like a wise sage.

"Can we go now? I want to get back as soon as we can." Suyi said with annoyed expression. She personally saw Lucis spend a lot of time making his beard last night with the best attention she ever saw in him.

"ai.. young girl. Patience, patience is the key." Lucis said with a calm voice just because it sounds cool at the moment.

Nanji was acting like an outsider avoiding his gaze to somewhere else feeling awkward. This act is exactly how Shuzan behave when he learned under him which is acceptable since Shuzan really look like a wise immortal but Lucis look like a joke and nothing more.

"listen you youngsters, we need to travel without drawing attention to ourselves and act cautiously, we also-"

"We know, how many time we gonna repeat this conversation?" Shuzan said with annoyed tone, he envy at Lucis that already have complete core. Lucis often fly around without magic tool teasing him and his speed actually faster than his own flying disk. It's still acceptable since Lucis have core after all but Lucis just have to laugh at him for being slow which especially hitting the nerve.

"alright, alright." Lucis said realized that the group in front of him is not particularly entertained. "mister snail, please lead the way." Lucis look at Shuzan with mocking tone.

"Sna.. snail! Hump!" Shuzan snort and threw his flying disk on the ground then the disk quickly expanded.

"Get on!" Shuzan said with displeased tone. Nanji starting to hate Lucis for always ruining Shuzan mood. He glance at Suyi then he jump on Shuzan disk with a bitter expression.

Muzin snort then slowly an evil smile appear on his face.

"Behold!" Muzin shout then he threw a black knife with gold engraving on it to the air.

The knife slowly expanded and the gold engraving start to shine brightly showing the majestic carp carved on it.

Shuzan eyes getting bigger and bigger looking at the crazily luxurious looking flying dagger Muzin use as his transportation.

"Design with an emphasis on dynamic performance such as handling, speed burst, top speed and the comfort of the rider. I introduce you, gold carp!" Muzin said with a smug, head raise high feeling very proud.

Shuzan really wanted to wreck Muzin dagger right at this moment, the younger generation sure have a lot to brag in front of him. He starting to feel like he's getting too old and has been left behind by the newer generation.

Suyi feel like another useless event about to come. She start weighting down wether to ride with Lucis or Muzin since both actually act like a kid.

"Amateur!" Lucis shout as he brushing his beard with a comb that appear out if nowhere.

Muzin glare at Lucis and feel like he's so young brat compare to him now. Lucis snort is a useless struggle for a loser. He raise his head high and hand behind his back brandishing his senior aura.

"watch this noobs." Lucis said then he wave his hand, a big black boat ten meter long with decorations here and there, furnished with couch and other small furniture also equip with small cannon at the front and back. It's especially look comfortable with the roof that blocking the sun.

"i present you, Astura mark one!"

Everyone was shocked. A boat? Luxurious looking boat on land?

"what.. is that a boat?" Shuzan asked completely stunned at the boat floating in the air.

"Nanji, come ride with this grandmaster. Here's more comfortable with food and drink serve in this long journey." Lucis said as he stroke his beard proudly.

Nanji feel complicated. One is the real gang leader while the other is his master.

"What happened with not drawing attention to ourselves?" Suyi asked.

"you young people know nothing. This is how you travel a long distance, not with..." Lucis pause and look at Muzin and Shuzan."that pathetic looking thing. Look at those two old man, what a sad looking they are." Lucis shake his head with sympathy like he really mean it.

"You have enough space for everyone, Nanji let's ride with him." Shuzan said calmly and jump into the boat.

Lucis was taken aback never expecting that Shuzan actually acting shameless this time, he was just about to rub it in his face the whole day.

Muzin look at his dagger and the boat over and over again. He spend a lot of time perfecting this dagger and finally managed to show off but Lucis completely taking over the lime light with his majestic boat.

"Come on brother Muzin, stop dazing about. We're going the same way anyway, why waste energy if we have someone else providing a free ride." Shuzan said with a mischievous smile.

After hesitated a bit, Muzin finally conceded defeat and jump on the boat with dissatisfied expression.

"joke on you, I'm not the one providing the energy for this thing." Lucis said as he whip out a couple medium magic stone and put it in the box near his feet.

The boat vibrating for a moment then it slowly raising up in the air and flew forward slowly gaining speed.

"this thing is slow." Muzin comment, unimpressed with the performance.

"chill, the system is just starting. Once the whole circuit is powered, you'll see." Lucis smile excitedly.

Muzin cross his arm and sit back. He have to admit that the ride is comfortable but he's unwilling to recognize it since he still think his golden dagger is better.

Suddenly a barrier lip up covering the whole boat then the boat quickly kick up it's speed tearing through the sky with the speed of 3000 kilometer per hour. The sound of the flying boat is extremely loud like the sky being torn apart, the whole villagers was frightened looking at the sky and some even pray for mercy to the heaven.

The Murky town especially turn into chaos, almost everyone ran outside the building they're in and kneel on the ground. Some people thought that the heaven is angry

"is the old immortal have came out from their seclusion?!"

"the heaven! It the heaven!"

"God is angry!"

Such as the comments among the town resident. They rarely saw cultivator so they're easily scared by something they don't know.

"fast right? Let me tell you..." Lucis continue explaining how amazing his boat are but none actually can hear him with the loud noice.
