Leah Clearwater
It's Thursday and the new hybrids have progressed well with learning control. I've cooked many breakfasts, lunches, and diners for my growing pack, and lemme just say Alice and Jasper are absolutely nuts for breakfast foods. Alice is really big on pancakes and waffles, pretty much anything smothered in butter and syrup. Jasper is more like me, I have made us several Mexican style omelettes. He is originally from Texas and spent sometime with the Mexican coven with the vampire that turned him. I was originally from Texas in my past life so we have a lot in common with the foods we like. Everyone went wild for the street tacos and elotes I made on Tuesday.
I have seen Leah slump off a few times over the week but she hasn't mentioned what is wrong yet. Truthfully I am not that patient of a man, so I intend to confront her privately and that brings me to where I am right now.
6 miles from the cabin is a small river with a waterfall that comes down from the Rockys. Currently I'm leaning on a tree watching the beautiful brown skinned girl swim around. I silently shed my clothes other than my boxers before jumping in.
The splash alerts her to my presence as I swim up to her. "Adrian! What are you doing?! hehe!" She asks and giggles from the tickle I gave her before pulling her into my arms.
" I'm here to figure out why you've been distancing yourself this week. I was going to let you come to me when you're ready to talk about what's on your mind but if I'm honest I was worried and grew impatient." I tell her as I place light kisses on her cheeks and forehead.
"You noticed huh?" She says shyly. I just nod in response and wait for her to tell me what's going on. "So when we did the mind share thingy you saw how the tribe kind of just ignores me because my father cheated on his wife with my mother to make me..." She says looking down to avoid my eyes. I lift her chin and make her look me in the eyes. "Well... It's stupid Adrian, but I'm not used to attention, and you and everyone else has been very welcoming. But I can't help but feel like an outsider. You're all pale faces and I'm not so I'm having trouble deciding where I fit in in this pack." She says a single tear at the edge of her eye.
"My sweet Leah... You really are a silly girl. You don't have to fight for a place with us you don't have to bring something specific to the table that you think the pack needs. Just be you! I've completely falling in love with you! From the singing in the shower that you probably think no one can hear, hehe. You are this goofy, but strong girl that just makes the rest of just smile at your antics. Don't ever think you don't fit in with us. You! You are perfect for us. We wouldn't be us without you." I tell her as I hold her tightly. I didn't think I was doing anything to make her feel this way. I need to try harder to let them know they're important to me, it must be hard being in a multiple person relationship trying to find your place in everything. "I'm so sorry Leah that you felt that way." I tell her pulling her chin up so I can claim her mouth with mine.
After pulling away she gazes into my eyes. "You didn't do anything wrong Adrian. Really this is just something I'm having to adjust to. And honestly it's not a bad thing to have to adjust to. I have people that love me dearly, I know you all do. Even Alice and Jasper have incorporated me into Alice's online shopping and Jasper's workouts and he's even tired showing me books he's read that he thinks I would like. You're all amazing people Adrian, and I will get used to it I promise." She says before giving me another kiss.
"Good, because I love you silly woman!" I tell her.
"I love you too pale face" She says sticking her tongue out at me.
"I finished your song.. Would you like to hear it?" I ask and I can practically feel her excitement coming at me in waves through our bond.
"Uh DUH!" She says excitedly before parting with me. "Race to the shore?" She says before taking off swimming as fast as she can. I just teleport to the shore and stand there waiting for her. "You fucking cheater!" she says pouting and I just laugh at her cuteness.
With a wave of my hand I dry us both with my magic and we begin to dress. I remove the guitar from my subspace and find a tree to sit against. She sits cross legged in front of me like a child waiting to hear a story. "You're too adorable" I tell her with a smile and I watch her blush. Then I start plucking the tune. 'It's gotta be a country song for my nature girl' I think to myself

I realized in the next moment that I close my eyes when I play and sing, because when I opened my eyes Rosie and Bells are sitting on either side of Leah holding her as she sheds tears of happiness.
"When you 2 get here?" I ask.
"We were coming to check on you 2 when we heard you start playing. We were sitting at her sides before you were even done with the intro, hehe." Bella says laughing while stoking Leah's back. "Now I can't wait till you write my song!" She says excitedly and Rosie just chuckles at that while holding Leah's hand.
"Soon my dear. Now Leah, do you get it now? Do you see how much you mean to me?" I ask as I put the guitar away and saddle myself behind her resting my chin on her shoulder.
"Yeah.. Yeah I get it." She says pressing a kiss to my cheek and taking one of my hands and placing it to her lips.
"Good! The 3 of you mean the world to me.. Don't doubt for a single moment that I would do great and terrible things for any of you." I tell her placing a few kisses behind her ear.
"That count for me too?" I hear a familiar voice coming down the path we used to get here. 'Alice'
I watch as Alice and Jasper come through the treeline right next to us. "Come now dear, you know damn well he'd murder everyone in the country to protect his 'pixie'" Jasper says with a chuckle referring to the nickname I gave her.
"See this guy gets it." I say laughing. "That goes for you too though brother." I say and I just watch him nod in understand and mutual agreement. "Now how long you too been there?"
"We showed up right as Rosie and Bella sat by Leah! You're such an amazing musician Adrian!!" Alice says excitedly. I just groan in embarrassment. 'I'm entirely too mushy with these girls' I think to myself berating myself.
"Thank you Alice I appreciate the compliment. Now how about you all hope in the river here and I'll go back and cook us a meal and bring it back for a picnic?" I ask and I can see the girls excitement and Jasper looks like he wants to make a request. "What's on your mind Jasper?" I ask.
"Ahem.. could we possibly have more tacos?" He asks embarrassed.
"Ah a man after my own heart." I say with a smile and I can see him get excited at the prospect of tacos. "It will be done brother! I'll make some separate spicy salsa for the 2 of us. You know these ladies cant handle the heat!" I tell him with a smile and he just laughs. The girls were not amused at me calling them out like that and I can tell I should bring some milk because they're going to try proving me wrong.
*Blink*
In a flash I'm moving around the kitchen preparing the impromptu taco picnic. After about 2 hours everything is done. We got shredded steak, chopped onion, chopped cilantro, a few slices of lime, some roasted jalapenos, 1 fresh jar of spicy salsa with all the jalapeno seeds, 1 jar of fresh mild salsa for the girls, and a stack of 60 homemade tortillas. The tortillas usually would have taken longer but I can multitask with my vampire speed and telekinesis so I had many things cooking, cutting, and chopping simultaneously.
*Blink*
Now I'm laying out a large blanket by the river where the girls are all swimming and splashing each other. Jasper notices me from the tree he had picked to sit in and read his book, so he came to help me lay everything out for our picnic. After a while the girls came up and I used my magic to dry them before we all sat and had an amazing meal together. From all the groans and moans happening I can tell that I outdid myself once again.

(A/N: In about 4 or 5 chapters I plan on having the group go to Denali so Adrian can meet that coven. Currently Tanya and Irina are available there since Irina will not meet Laurent she's available too. Now I'm not sure about taking them both into the harem so I need votes, and I would like you're opinion on how to make it happen. Should it be by fate like Rosie and Leah or a created bond like with Bella? let me know.)
