Chapter 5

(Yin pov)

It has been a few months since both Indura and Ashura, along with his friend, went on their journey to the places that the ten tails chakra was spotted. Around that time, I've just been helping the village out, whether it's playing with the young ones or helping the workers build, and/or helping the elderly with their problems within my capabilities. Father has also been making something, though I don't know what since he won't let me help or even see it. Whatever it is, I know it originally wasn't in the Naruto anime.

Indra has returned in a short amount of time, I can already tell he didn't do something right, even if I didn't already see it in the Naruto series.

Now we just wait for Ashura to return, and then the successor of ninshu will be chosen, and finally, I will leave for my journey...why do I get the feeling I'm forgetting another important event. Oh well, I'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

It has been almost a year since Ashura left, and he still hasn't returned. I know he will come back safely, but me being the good big sister I am, I still worry for him.

I was helping around the village again when I suddenly sense a huge amount of people coming towards the village. I can already tell who is bringing them here, so I just continue helping out.

When Ashura came in, there were tons of people following him, like if he was some kind of hero, which he kind of is.

I walk up to Ashura, silently like a ninja (yeah, I can see the irony in what I said), and hugged him from behind, surprising him and his followers.

"Hey little bro, glad you're back safe and sound. You also brought more friends with you...a lot more friends," I said, though the last part was with a sweatdrop.

"Yeah, I did. So, was Indra picked for being the successor of Ninshu?" Ashura asked.

"What do you mean, Father hasn't picked anyone yet," I said confused on why he said that.

"EEEEEH?! Why has Father not been picked yet, I came back much later than Indra, he should be the successor of Ninshu," Ashura said surprised and greatly confused on why.

"He waited for you to come back, little bro," I told Ashura.

"Also, who is the little lady that is so close to you, little bro?" I teased Ashura and his little girlfriend, who both blushed bright red.

"O-oh right, Yin this is Kanna, my wife," Ashura said while introducing me to the beautiful black-haired girl standing next to him.

"EEEEEEEEEEH?! YOUR WIFE?! I missed the biggest day in your life, aw man!!" I yelled in surprise and frustration at what I heard.

"Anyways, it is nice to meet my new sister-in-law, Kanna. I got to say, you both got lucky finding each other, you're both perfect for each other," I told the both of them while hugging Kanna.

"Thank you, Ms.Otsutsuki," Kanna said while bowing.

"Come on now, we're sisters now, you can call me Yin if you want," I told Kanna while feeling awkward about being called Ms.Otsutsuki.

"Okay Ms.Otsutsu- I mean, Yin," she said cutely.

"Oh, you are just so cute, my brother did pick a beautiful and adorable wife, didn't he?" I said teasing both of them again.

"Well, we should probably go inside the house, if we want to see who becomes the successor," I reminded them.

"That's right, I want to know which one of us he is going to picked as the successor of Ninshu," Ashura said curiously while also panicking a little.

"Well, let's go," I said leading them back to the house.

Were are now in the house, waiting for dad to pick the successor.

We are all waiting patiently, to see who he chooses.

"My successor shall be...

Ashura!" Father announced to everyone

Surprising everyone, except me, there and in anger, Indra asked why was he not chosen. Then Father said that the village he helped, basically became worse. I wasn't paying attention, until after Indra left, with his two friends.

"Congratulations little bro, you deserve it," I told Ashura.

"Yeah, sure," Ashura said still in shock at what he heard.

I left him and his friends to go get my stuff, and to be prepared to leave.

When I got everything ready for my trip, I saw something big and purple heading towards us. I ran outside and what I saw was Indra with different eyes...the Mangekyou Sharingan, which meant he killed his friends to obtain that power. Poor Indra and his friends.

A while later, we're back after the epic fight of Ashura vs Indra, which involved Father giving Ashura his power, Ashura using the Rasengan, Indra using the perfect Susanoo, and Ashura using wood style to beat him.

I'm back in my room about to leave when suddenly, there was a knock on my door. I went to go see who it was, and I was surprised to see it was Father. I let him in my room, and he gave me a small vial of a black substance.

"Father, what is it?" I asked father, suspicious about the item I was given.

"That one vial will let you become immortal, in a way," father said which completely shocked me.

'Immortality...wait, he said 'in a way which means it isn't exactly what I think it is I thought, looking at the vial.

"It will let you live forever, but you can still be killed in the same way as before, except for old age," father said, again surprising me.

"Thank you father, for this gift," I said crying while hugging him.

"Yin, this will be the last time I will ever see you. Thank you for being a part of this family," my father said while returning the hug, crying as well.

After a few moments, we break the hug. I look at the vial, then I drink the contents inside.

We are now in front of the gates, with me about to leave, and everyone was there.

"Welp, I'm leaving, and that'll be the first and last time I'll have left the village," I said in a slightly joking tone to lift the tension in the air.

"This is goodbye, Yin-nee. I'm going to miss you," Ashura says while crying slightly.

"Hey hey, come here," I said hugging him, giving him comfort.

"It'll be okay besides, you have your wife and friends to help you out along the way of being the successor of Ninshu. I know you'll do great," I told Ashura, and I see determination growing in his eyes.

"I won't let you down, Yin-nee!" Ashura declared to me.

This was so emotional that I was slightly crying during it.

"It's time for me to leave," I announced to everyone, while also turning around and walking out the gates, waving goodbye to everyone.

I can hear them saying goodbyes and good luck on my journey. While they were saying that, I gave a thumbs up in the air, showing that I will be okay.

After walking a little bit and making sure that the village can't see me, I stop.

"I know you're there Indra, come out and hug your sister. You won't be able to see me again after this," I said to Indra, who was trying to be sneaky and hide from me.

"I knew you would've found me," said Indra, while he walked out with a blank face, but I can tell he is hiding sadness in his heart.

"It wasn't that hard, especially since I used my shadows," I said while also bringing up a shadow from the ground.

"Are you going to leave?" Indra asked with a tone full of sadness.

"Yes Indra, I am," I told him while walking up to him.

Indura suddenly rushes towards me and hugs me. I can tell that he wanted to see me before I left, though who could blame him. I was his big sister and I'm leaving him, Ashura, father, and the village.

After a few moments of hugging, we break off and I give Indra a goodbye kiss on the head.

"Goodbye little brother," I told Indra with a voice full of sadness.

"Goodbye, big sister," Indra said before he turned around, walked back into the forest, and vanished as a ninja should.

"I forgive you," I said quietly so that nobody can hear me. I then turn back and continue on my journey.
