"Listen, I'm happy with myself. All I want is to live my life, get married, have my kids and live a happy heart attack free life. I just wanna live in peace. Just let this go Ivan, I'll never believe in unnecessary hard work. Mom and Dad have to learn to understand this too, I can't change any further"

"Well, you can't really blame them for being worried can you? What about your future? They won't be there for us all the time"

"That's what I don't understand, I'm an artist, why do they treat me like I'm unemployed? My pieces are quite expensive, and popular"

"They wanted you to take journalism more seriously"

"I didn't want to, art is what I want to do and its what I'm gonna do"

"Why don't you have a serious talk with them, you know, tell them its art you really wanna do. And convince them you're capable of being responsible"

"Of course I didn't mean that, they do. Just, become a little less carefree about life, that could get them off your case"

"I'll do my best. Now you, why don't you have any interest in girls?"

"What? Who told you that?" He asked, he sounded thoroughly surprised.

"Well, your actions I guess"

"That is so wrong, no, I actually have a girlfriend you know"

"What? That's betrayal. You didn't tell me?"

"Its not like I know of any of your boyfriends"

"Bummer dude, that's cause I have none. Never had one"

Ivan stared at her, he was shocked

"Are you... serious?" He asked

"Yea, you don't believe me?"

"Sounds quite unbelievable. Are you... You know?"

"A lesbian?"

He nodded, she laughed

"No idiot, I'm not. I just know not to get into a relationship until I'm ready to settle down"

"Like, get married?"

She nodded

"Wow, that's awesome"

"We've really not been paying much attention to each other"

"I know right?"

"That's bad, we were so tight in high school. Until it was match after match for you"

He smiled

"Now that we've noticed, we could fix it"

"Yea. So, your girlfriend, is she someone I know?"

"Um, I don't think so"

"Then you have to introduce her to me as soon as we get out of here"

"Definitely, she's always wanted to meet you. she thinks you sound interesting"

"Ah" she laughed,

"I already like her"

"You really think we'll get out of here?"
