"This is so terrifying, I just want to go home"

"Relax Irene. I think there's someone watching us"

"Are you trying to piss me off? dude, of course someone is watching us. But I don't think I wanna know who, or what"

"Psst"

They turned to the direction it came from, there was a little boy.

"We need to run" he whispered.

Irene tried to move but Ivan stopped her.

"What?" She snapped

"We can't just trust him"

"That's a little boy Ivan, what could he possibly do to us?"

"First, we don't know our current location and..."

"Look, I understand if you don't trust me but I'm trapped in here just like you and I've been here longer. Now I'm telling you, we need to run" said the little boy.

The laughter came again and Irene grabbed Ivan's hand and followed the boy.

They ran for a long time then stopped, they were all panting.

"Running isn't really a good idea, it just makes us feel safer"

They stared at the boy,

"What does that mean?" Ivan asked

"She sees the entire the triangle"

"Who does?"

"So this really is the Bermuda triangle" Irene thought.

"The mermaid" he answered, Irene's jaw dropped.

"There's a mermaid, in here?" She asked

"Yea, really terrible ones"

"MORE THAN ONE!" She yelled

"Quiet Irene, now I don't think you want to annoy this mermaid"

"I feel dizzy, I think I'm gonna pass out" she said.

"Do that and I'll just keep moving, like you were never here"

Irene straightened up and glared at him.

"Who are you?" He asked the boy

"My name's Dash, I've been in here for a while now, I think"

"How old are you?"

"I'm not sure about that anymore, I was nine when I fell in, was in 2019"

"This is 2021. So, you've been here for two years?"

Irene gasped,

"Ivan, we could grow old in here" she squealed

"We could, if we don't get eaten that is"

"Eaten!" They yelled in unison.

As if they'd been heard, the laughter resumed.

Suddenly, the neat rocky floor disappeared, the entire scenery changed. Looking around, they could see human and animal skulls lying around, full skeletons too. There were blood stains all over the place.

Irene tried to hold it in but she couldn't, she threw up.
