"So, how exactly does Drizella plan to rescue us?" asked Ivan
"She's gonna kill herself"
"Why? How... How does that help anything?"
"Her mom made her the life source of the triangle when they began to stay here. She thought she'd turn out to be as evil as her but things didn't go that way"
"So, if Driz dies?"
"The triangle and everything in it will be destroyed"
"That includes us then, we're in the triangle"
"Of course I know that. There's an orb, with it she can protect whoever and whatever she wants to protect, send it safely to shore"
"Why won't she just use the orb and send us to shore? Does she have to die?"
Slowly, Irene nodded
"Apparently, nothing is to ever leave the triangle once inside it. Even the mermaids can't leave. The orb can only work when the life source has been destroyed"
"You're basically saying, we have to watch her die"
"Pretty much. All she asked is that we take care of Dash and help him find his family"
Ivan took a long deep breath.
"That's sad"
"Its the only way"

"Calm down Max, we have all day to search. The divers are getting ready, they'll be in the water soon" said the sheriff.
Max heaved a sigh, a very sad sigh.
"It'll be fine" the sheriff said and gave him a pat on the shoulder,
"Let's just pray and not think too much"
Suddenly, they noticed people running towards the water. They looked over and noticed huge waves in the water, there was also a very loud rumble.
"What the..."
"Sir Max" one of the divers yelled as he ran towards them
"What's wrong?"
"Three bodies" he panted
"What? What are you saying?"
"Three bodies just appeared on the shore sir, and two of them perfectly match the description of your kids. We checked, they're alive"
