When Asa left, Ingrid, the tall woman with short blond hair, seductive clothes and feline features, approached Fabricio with an angry expression. He started to step back instinctively, his face showing traces of fear and despair, but his eyes quickly landed on the figure of Lara, the young black woman with white hair.

She was watching the scene unfold and seemed very interested in this subject. So the young man with the sword sharpened his resolve and stopped backing away, facing steadily Ingrid, who came closer and closer. She noticed this different behavior and soon realized the reason, however she didn't worry about it, as she had a valid reason to complain and quickly came face to face with Fabricio, who was looking at her with his head held high.

Ingrid was wearing a black blouse with a large V-neck, showing most of her large breasts. Her legs were encased in two large Japanese-style socks, intensifying the perfection of her big legs. It was not possible to deny her provocative beauty.

If not for the moment, the scene would be iconic. A six-foot-tall, muscular, attractive woman glowering angrily at a relatively short, skinny young man who was restraining himself from running away. She grabbed him with both hands by the collar of her shirt and lifted him up until he was level with her. So, she said:

"Do you know what you did? We're already struggling to survive here, and what was supposed to be a friendly practice ended with your partner passed out!" She didn't speak quickly, but her words penetrated deep into Fabricio. His voice was thick, very easily mistaken for a man who had a 'thin' voice, it put even more emphasis on her complaint. The suspended youth trembled all over his body, though his face did not show his despair, perhaps because of his pride; he was almost crying. Ingrid added:

"Did you see what happened yesterday? Do you want to have the same fate as this new recruit?" She spoke and looked at Lucas, Fabricio and Lara also followed her gaze. Lucas didn't understand anything.

"What do you mean 'my destiny'?" He was confused. "Nothing happened to me, so why did she say that?"

Fabricio turned his gaze to Ingrid and nodded, this time his despair was stamped on her expression. He didn't care anymore if Lara was seeing him or not, he didn't want to receive punishment. He said in her defense:

"B-But, I didn't do anything! I always fought Rafael like this! It was only today that this happened!" Ingrid listened and took a deep breath, after all, she knew it was true. So she put the boy down and said:

"Let's wait what Asa says, if the doctors say it was her mutation that caused it, you won't like your future." She turned and walked out of the training area.

Lara, who had been watching all that, also left, but didn't leave the training area completely, just sat down on one of the surrounding benches, perhaps waiting for Asa's return or just resting. Meanwhile, Fabricio walked towards Lucas, who still didn't understand the situation. The young blonde said:

"Look, I know you must be getting used to your ability, but what you did to your friend… I'm disgusted. Be more careful next time. Enjoy your punishment well." His tone was one of total contempt. He turned and left, but before leaving the arena, he added:

"By the way, if you still believe in a god, pray to him. Asa doesn't usually go easy on punishment." So he walked towards the medical department.

Lucas didn't know how to react, he didn't hurt Ruby on purpose, but he knew it was still her fault. He looked around; there was no one training, apparently he needed to train alone, but first he needed to do something. Then he walked towards Lara, who was still sitting on the bench.

She didn't notice his approach as she was resting with her eyes closed, her arms spread out on the bench, enjoying the morning sun. Without a doubt, her beauty was unique, her silvery-white hair reflecting the sunlight and giving a beautiful contrast to her black skin. Now, looking closer, Lucas saw more details of her appearance, these small features made her face an even more beautiful and unique art. She wore a white tank top, black leggings and sneakers. All her clothes accentuate her curves, giving a very seductive look, but calm and continuous, her seduction second only to Ingrid.

He blushed immediately upon seeing her, he couldn't tell who was prettier, if it was Ruby or Lara. But he was sure of one thing, Ruby's beauty came from an undeniable purity, while Lara's was compared to the most beautiful stillness within the darkness. He, despite the time, immediately thought of the starry sky when he saw her; looking at the sky at night with this person beside him would be a once in a lifetime occasion.

While he was admiring the young woman's beauty, she finally noticed him. She didn't move and barely opening her eyes said:

"What you want?" Her tone was full of indifference.

It was only after hearing her speak that Lucas recovered and remembered his purpose. Then he straightened his posture and said:

"I know you must think I'm a maniac, but I didn't do it on purpose! I never thought I could hurt her, so I want to take away the bad impression I left. Everyone has already left and I didn't have time to say anything… so… you were the only one left…" He fumbled at the end, not knowing how to answer correctly.

Lara was silent, not showing any reaction even with a few seconds passing, leaving the environment strange. The one who suffered the most from this was Lucas, he didn't quite know how to explain himself, but now he had to put up with this awkward silence. So he mustered all his remaining will to say a few last words.

"Well that's. Have a nice day." He turned and started walking towards the base gate. However, a weak voice reached his ears, making him stop in his tracks for an instant.

"Better control your mutation, good morning." The voice came from Lara, she didn't change her position, just opened her mouth to speak. However, this was enough for Lucas, who now felt relieved, after all there was already a person who knew about his true intentions.

He was very happy, but he didn't stop walking. His destiny was the way out of the base, he planned to train away from unwanted looks, not out of fear or distrust, but because he had already gotten used to it. However, he wouldn't reject training with observers, it was just a preference.

Unfortunately, life often held a different future than planned. Before he could get out of Lara's range of vision, a shadow quickly approached, it had an almost human shape, the only difference being the presence of wings, resembling an angel or demon. He looked up, trying to see the source of that shadow, even though he already knew who it was.

Asa landed right in front of him, he had a suspicious and surprised face, but he dispersed his expression and said:

"Morgana and her assistant are trying to figure out why Rafael was in that state, but one thing is certain, without your quick action, he could be in a much worse state." As he spoke this, he placed his hand on Lucas' shoulder and nodded his head in approval.

"However, you still have to be punished for what happened to your friend. Follow me." The trainer turned and started walking.

Lucas was feeling fine at first, but that last sentence dashed his hopes.
