The Fire Realm

Noah was in owing because of the results he had got. What kind of book was this? He took a closer look to find golden letters imprinted on the book's cover. "Book of The Fire Realm" he spoke out the words slowly. Its cover was a dark grey making the golden letters pop out. The book itself was extremely hot but for some reason, this heat did not bother Noah at all, actually, it felt comforting. He opened the book only to find that its pages were blank. "Why are its pages blank," Noah asked the system.

"This book is one forged out of the fire and can only be wielded by the inheritor of The extension System, to show that you are truly the heir you must pour some of your energy into the book for the words to appear, this spellbook also won't work for anyone else until the heir is banished" Kastiel explained.

Noah was excited, "thanks for the free exp," he thought to the system which just grimaced at what he had done. Noah had caught a few words from what Kastiel had said. Instead of dying, Kastiel said, "banished". "Does that mean that he is immortal?" Noah thought. "Not exactly, you can be killed, just not easy but your chance at immortality will increase depending on how stronger you get" Kastiel concluded. Either way, Noah was quite happy with his chances, right now, he had to concentrate on the book in his hands. just like before, he concentrated and pictured two streams in his mind, one yellow and one blue, Noah guessed that one represents his life force and the other, the energy reserve from The extension System. He gently started pouring his orange energy into the book and it started to glow really bright but not bright enough for other students to see. The light slowly faded but the page was still blank. "Why didn't work," Noah thought in puzzlement, he had wanted to learn how to use his new skills so bad yet the damn book couldn't even show letters. The Book Of The Fire Realm's pages then glowed and letters written in some kind of language were written on the page. Although Noah had never seen such a language before, he seemed naturally drawn to it and seemed like he had studied the language all his life. Noah concluded that the book would only show information if he thought of what he wanted. He read the words and as he read, every piece of information was stored in his brain as if it was some kind of store. Noah was naturally a clever person but even he could feel that he could have never held this much information in the past. Following the book's instructions, he concentrated on pushing his aura to his eyes then, almost everything blew up in color. The buildings didn't but every living organism did. He then decided to use it on some of the students in the room. He first used it on a boy who was sitting really close to his table.

He suddenly stopped and closed the book. Noah started panicking, he couldn't control his own body at this point and he was freaking out. He closed his eyes and in front of him stood basically a copy of himself except a bit taller and more handsome. The whole experience lasted less than a few seconds. Noah had so many questions, why the option soul fire was on the tab, why he was strangely drawn to it, and who that man was but before he could say anything, the sound-blocking gems turned from their blue to grey. An announcement was sounded inquiring all first-years to report to the hall they had gathered at before.

"What the hell" Noah almost screamed out. Corts Spaces were super rare and only belonged to the extremely privileged, like the top of the top, they were devices stolen from the Relivi space ships and to make matters more complicated, he was infinite, even generals didn't have access to that kind, "What exactly is this system?" Noah unconsciously muttered before heading to The Hall.

The Hall was packed with different students, to Noah, this was practically a gold mine. He decided to use his Inspection Skill on the students in the hall.

Noah seemed to notice something in the people he inspected, the soul fire was hotter depending on the ability. The soul fire seemed so addictive by just its name yet he had not even seen it, he would ask Kastiel about this later but for now, he needed to concentrate on what was ahead of him.

He saw a tall skinny man who was the complete opposite of the man at the beginning. He had frizzy brown hair and such a skinny body.

"If I may have your attention" the man spoke making everyone go silent. It was probably about 6:30 PM at the time, so cricket sounds could be heard. "You shall be assigned to your respective dorms this evening since someone had forgotten to hand them to you" he staff a glare towards one of the staff members who laughed it off. The man then divided the student body into 4 groups which were then given to each staff member to handle. Noah's group was given to a soldier who looked like he hated his own mother by the nature of his face. The man then started dividing people in groups of two, this was because four people lived in a single dorm, two second years and two first years.

Noah was assigned with a blue-haired boy who had a very explosive personality. He was granted leave after getting his new dorm mate. "Hey, so what is your name," asked too excitedly for Noah's comfort. "Mine is Rhett," he said desperate to start a conversation since they had been walking in silence for the past 5 minutes. "Ummm, mine is Noah" he replied trying to sound friendly. For the rest of the walk, Rhett just went on and on about his high school life with an occasional nod from Noah. Noah decided he would use his inspection skill against Rhett when he was asleep as it would be creepy if he just stared at him.

They reached their dorm, D-13, in about three more minutes, they found the second years sitting on the couch in their section playing games, they didn't even care for the presence in the room. Noah looked around in awe at the room, it was plain white with a couch, a television, and a luxurious bed, and that was just his section which was really big, the other sections had the same setup and in total the room was big. Noah looked at his bed in owing, he hadn't slept since e left the hospital. He didn't even notice Rhett leave his side, he immediately forgot about all the questions and the day, he put his head on the pillow and instantly blacked out in his uniform.

During the first minutes of his sleep, Noah dreamt of a place that was completely covered in fire, he was not burnt by the fire, there were creatures that were covered with it, and just like him were not bothered. Although the fire was non-threatening, the place was a nightmare, like looking at hell. A beast suddenly looked at him and started running at its newfound prey. Noah cursed Kastiel for this.
