Chapter 19

"So, what are your plans now?" They were having a little 'chit-chat' while following the river. "Normally, you would find a village or something if you follow a river. But I don't think that we will find one anytime soon. There is no way a noble built their castle next to a village." *Sigh* "Lets just keep going."

After walking for a few hours they came upon a carriage that stopped by the river to wash up.

"Oh, we are a little lucky." The people that were next to the carriage spotted the young, beautiful girl that was coming towards them.

"Howdy, ma'am how can we help you?" Something small jumped out of the carriage. "Oh, a dwarf." Zil could not keep these words inside her mouth. "You are right. So how can we help you."

Dwarf was kinda annoyed since he was in the middle of doing something important.

Putting up a cute face. "I-I... am lost, can you guys help me get to the nearest town?" The dwarf was surprised by the sentence. "What do you mean you got lost. Did your rich father throw you out?" The dwarf laughed inside himself.

Zil has met tons of people like this dwarf: The type of people who did not like nobles. I mean they had a reason to not like them. "N-no its not what it looks like. I got lst while exploring."

*Sigh* "Mate, you are bad with lies. Just tell us what you want." Before Zil could speak another worker came up to them. "Boss, why don't you treat the lady with a little care?" 'Simp' is what everyone around the carriage thought of him right at that second.

"I want to get to the nearest town, do you mind taking me there?" Zil spoke up, she was planning on forcefully making the take her anyways. The old dwarf laughed for a few seconds. "Nearest town? You mean the 'Main city?' Sure we can take you there. But it will have its own price." The dwarf has checked the clothes that Zil was wearing. No commoner would get their hands on clothes like this.

Without hesitation Zil took her bag. After searching inside it for a few seconds she found a black gem that she stole from the castle. "Will this do the work?"

The dwarf was almost shocked to death. "What?! How di you find this gem!" Zil knew that dwarves loved ores/gems so this was the best thing to give him.

"Are you sure of this? This is a very valuable gem." Zil could not care less about the gem and she got on the carriage. "Just keep it man." hm?

Inside the carriage there was an someone else. Zil did not mind the person and just sat down.

After a while others got in as well and they departed. "We should reach the city before the sunset so don't worry." The dwarf said.

They were passing by a place that was full of flowers. It was a beautiful sight.

*Achoo* The boy sitting next to Zil ofc. "Allergies?" The boy did not even look at Zil.

"None of your business." The old dwarf heard these words and was a little annoyed. "Oh please don't mind my hybrid son. He is a little annoying."

Zil did not say anything, well she could not care less about these people. But damn dwarfs talk a lot.

"My son is going to the 'Main City' to get into the 'World Academy'" Zil was a little surprised by this. "A dwarf school in a human city?" The old dwarf jumped to the back of the carriage.

"You are not from around here are you." Zil made sure to not break her character. "Well. All 4 kings of races agreed on peace a year ago as you know. Now they made academies in every biome for everyone. That's why its called the world academy. Every race is allowed there."

It was weird. Some thing like this did not happen in Zil's past life. "Are you perhaps planning on getting in the academy as well?" Zil laughed it off. "Of course not, they wouldn't take in someone that has no talent."

*Pfft* "I have an eye for talented people, you are a mage aren't you?" What a useful skill, that's what Zil thought. "Yea, I am one why do you ask?"

The dwarf smirked before answering. "I don't know in what situation you are in right now, but you wont be able to get through the city without anyone backing you up or anything. I recommend getting in the academy for you, just because the gem was so valuable I can help you get into the exams."

"I don't think, I need anything like that. I can take care of myself." She was just about to say these when she was interrupted. "Zil! Accept this offer. It will be a great way of hiding yourself from the goddess, its just a normal thing to accept this offer. And you can grow stronger inside. The goddess wont follow you around inside the academy." Anais jumped into the conversation, she was silent the whole morning for some reason. Probably because Zil ate a human arm last night.

"I guess it makes sense, I can't take on the goddess or her soldiers at the moment." She turned her head towards the dwarf and nodded.

"Oh and, how are you miss?" The dwarf asked. "Why? Is there a age requirement?" The dwarf nodded.

"How old is your son?" Without any hesitation the dwarf answered. "17 is the required age, but you are allowed to be a little older."

The current body that Zil was inside of was at the age of 21. "21 is okay right? I mean you are gonna make it okay right? That gem, don't think that I am a stupid person. You better get me in the academy."

"What a rude way of asking for a good thing." The dwarf spoke under his mouth.
