You are our senior?

"Huh? You are our senior?"

When Oscar entered the clubroom this was the first thing he heard. Jason was staring at someone with eyes full of disbelieve. She was someone with a petite body even shorter than most of the girls. With her pale silver hair, she looked like a doll.

"Yes, I am Luna Edgar and I am a third-year student this year."

Jason's mouth was agape. Oscar was surprised too. Luna's face was too childish no one would believe that she is a third-year high school student. Jason looked at Ted.

"Yes, she is a third-year student. She is a really good senior."

Ted nodded and told Jason. Jason's eyes sparkled. It was the first time for him to see this.

" A real-life loli!"

He was smacked down by Luna. She looked at Jason angrily but her anger couldn't hide the blush on her cheeks.

"I'm not a loli! I am already seventeen years old!"

"Then almost legal loli!"

Jason was smacked down one more time.

Luna looked frustrated. She was angry with the word of the loli because of her own height.

"Let us return to the activities of the Mythology club! I am thinking that we should do a comic book for the school festival!"

"School festival?"

Lydia was surprised by the event she never expects to hear here. Especially when the topic of the conversation was too different. Luna was able to successfully divert attention somewhere else from her height.

"School festival is-"(Jason)

"I know what they are. I just didn't know they were a thing here."(Lydia)

"Hm, are you not from here?"(Luna)

"No... why did you ask?"(Lydia)

"Its kind of a tradition in this city. Rextert High School and Rextert Collage is pretty well known in this country. So school festivals are also something like a power demonstration."(Oscar)

"That's a weird way to explain it. School festivals are mostly used to attract the attention of the students who might interested to join our school. But since this place is well known it might arise other ideas on people's minds."(Ted)

"Wow..."(Lydia)

Oscar took the seat next to Jason and stared at Luna. She and her brother's names were familiar to him but he couldn't remember from where. He thought that maybe Luna might know him but when she saw him, her expression didn't even change.

"What kind of a comic book are you planing... senior?" Oscar asked politely. Still, Luna's left eye twitched because of his pause on the senior part.

"Adventure of course. I already started at the story. And if we have someone who can draw, we might have made one of the greatest activities of this year's school festival!" Luna said excitingly. Her eyes were shining with the dream of success.

"Lingard is good at drawing. I can talk with him."

Ted said. Jason and Oscar nodded at his words. Lydia thought a little and said to rest "I can paint it if you want. I am not good with drawing but confident at painting something already drawn."

Luna was very happy. Oscar and Jason took the rest of the work for themselves. Even though they were waiting for the emergence of the spirits, they hoped that it won't be the end of their everyday life.

After the talk about Luna's comic book is over everyone chatted. Oblivious of the dangers coming towards all of them. Their not so simple but nonetheless happyish life was about the end.

Meanwhile, Luna's eye was occasionally landed on Oscar. Her eyes had a strange glint. And if someone looked closely they could see the slight curve of her lips.

'So this is Oscar Williams... How interesting!'

Somewhere in the vast land of white rocks stood two people. One was a mature beautiful lady and the other was a humanoid creature with a goat face.

The mature lady looked at the goat-faced creature with a frown. She was looking already unhealthy and the frown made her look sick. Her purple eyes twitch with annoyance.

"What is the meaning of your words, Scelus!?"

"Lady Amaris, it is as you heard. Lady Aurora felt the disturbance of fate. She suspects The Convict has escaped to the human realm."

The frown on the Amaris' face deepened. A chair and table appeared in front of her and she quickly sat down on the chair. She tapped her fingers to the table while she was thinking. The goat-faced creature, Scelus was watching her without a noticeable expression.

After a while of thinking, Amaris sighed tiredly. She looked at the Scelus with cold eyes.

"Where is Aurora? We have to make sure our plan won't be interrupted."

"Lady Aurora already descended into the human world."

"What?! She already went to the human world! Rebellion is in the human world too. She threw herself into danger."

She hit the table with anger and the table crumbled to the glowing pieces. They quickly disappeared. Amaris was furious and her purple eyes glowed with dangerous glint. But soon she started to cough violently. She closed her mouth with her hand. When the coughing end there was purple blood on her hands.

She just cast a glance at the blood on her hands and shook her head. There were more important matters from her sickness. Disturbance of fate was a serious matter and Aurora's going to the human world was can not wait, unlike her sickness. She took a deep breath and steady her mind. She has to act rationally or she will be blamed by others.

"Scelus."

"Yes, Lady Amaris."

"Is there someone who can protect her there?"

"She brought twenty middle-class spirits with her."

"They can't protect her long enough. We must act quickly. You should go and inform Heulfryn."

"Lord Heulfryn? Excuse me for my impoliteness but why Lord Heulfryn? After all, he is known for his dangerous personality."

"He has great power and a much larger mana pool left, unlike others. He can last longer than anyone else."

"I see, you are truly wise with your choice Lady Amaris."

After replying with a monotone voice a dark flame covered Scelus' body. After a second it disappeared inside of the dark flames. As soon as it disappeared the flames died out too. Amaris looked at the place where Scelus was.

Another frown appeared on her face. She was feeling the storm coming. A storm that will destroy everything she is trying to build. Her eyes glowed with intense purple light and her face grew paler. A moment later light fade out and she panted.

A crystalline screen appeared before her eyes. On the screen was an image of a teenage girl. She had brown shoulder-length hair, brown eyes, and a doll-like face. Amaris looked at the image of the girl. There were mixed emotions on her face.

"I don't think we can manage it. If Oscar fails, I have no choice but the use her. I hope you will be successful Oscar."

She said sadly. Her eyes were lost their previous dangerous glints. There was only sadness left. She shook her head and the image disappeared. She looked at the vast land covered with white rocks. Remembering what she was fighting for.
