7:50

"Hey!" I looked away from the sky, it was Harmonie and Chloe who joined me.

"Sorry for the delay, it took longer than expected," said Harmonie

"With a person like her, it must be a hassle every day," I said, pointing with my chin to Chloe.

Harmonie, looking puzzled, turned to look at Chloe,

"Oh, no, Chloe had nothing to do with our delay. It was Ad-" before she could finish her sentence, Chloe interrupted her.

"What are you talking about? It's my fault."

Harmonie turned back to Chloe again and a sort of silent conversation took place between them. They must have found some common ground.

Chloe then moved closer to me and sat next to me, 'weird'. Harmonie also joined us by sitting on my right.

We finally heard the ringing bell that ended the conversation Harmonie and I had been having for a few minutes and Chloe, strangely, had remained silent.

We heard the bell ring and got up and grabbed our bags, we had PE class for two hours.

Chloe quickly went to the gyms, probably to get a good spot to change.

" H ? "

"Hmm?"

"Chloe, why is she acting this way?"

"Stress." she simply replied.

"Stress?" She nodded,

"Don't forget, we have a presentation to make to the class later."

"I didn't forget-oh, that's why!"

"Yeah, but she'll be fine, don't worry about her."

"Who told you I was worried about her?"

"You?"

"Well, you're wrong." She didn't answer me, she just started laughing.

We finally got to the gym, seeing us, the PE teacher asked us to speed up. I wanted to, but when I saw Harmonie walking without any intention to speed up, I decided to do the same.

As we entered the locker room, I noticed that most of the girls were already in their gym clothes, even Chloe. However, Chloe looked worried, 'she must really be stressed!'

Harmonie moved closer to her, gave her, her phone, and put her things on the bench before starting to take off her jacket and shoes.

''Cassidy hurry up and get changed,'' she said to me and then turned to Chloe,

"Go make your call in the showers and be careful." Chloe nodded before leaving,

"Why does she need to make a call on your phone?" I asked as I changed into my gym clothes, she only needed to put on her sneakers since she was already in her gym clothes, so she was now ready, waiting for us,

"It wasn't my phone, it was hers. She handed it to me since she had her arms full this morning. And for the call, she is talking to someone helpful when she is stressed for reassurance... Something like that." She told me, she then turned around, we were the only ones left and she said,

"Well, we're the last ones, we're going to have to go. Chloe, we need to get out of the shower room!"

"Coming!"

Harmonie then turned to me, "Let's go."

"Aren't we waiting for her?"

"There's no need, I'm here," said Chloe,

...

"Oh, we're doing volleyball," I said, seeing all the materials already set up,

"Girls hurry up!" Our classmates were all sitting in front of the teacher's little board, and we could see drawings on it.

"We're coming sir!" said I as I quickened my steps, I sat down and as I turned around my head I saw Harmonie and Chloe walking as if nothing had happened.

"Girls...seriously..." sighed the teacher, they finally sat down.

"It's morning, sir." simply said Harmonie with a shrug, the teacher just decided to ignore them and started the explanations on how the class was going to go.

10 minutes later

We had finally finished our warm-ups, there were 5 teams of four people and one team of three people, but that wasn't us. There was one extra person on our team, a girl who was pretty quiet in class.

Harmonie and Chloe moved closer to her, 'I feel some bullshit coming on'

"What's your name?" asked Harmonie,

"We're in the same class," the girl said shyly, it was Chloe's turn to speak.

"Yes and?"

"And you should at least know her first name," I added,

"Oh, so you know her first name?" said Harmonie with a little something in her eyes, it looked like admiration, mixed with surprise and a hint of pride. And it wasn't that that put me in my current state of shock, it was the fact that I just realized that I didn't know her first name either.

"Cassidy!" said Harmonie, snapping her fingers,

"No, I don't know her name" while shaking my head slightly.

"Chloe and Harmonie, form a team and start warming up with the ball, same for you, Corine, and Cassidy!" Shouted the teacher,

"Oh, that was Corine," said Chloe,

"You owe me 20 bucks, Chloe, I bet on the first half of the Alphabet and I won."

I finally decided to abandon the two morons and focus more on 'Corine' who remained silent.

"Hey sorry," I said with a grimace, she looked at me quizzically.

"Sorry, why?"

"Your first name?" I asked,

"Oh, that's okay, I'm used to being invisible," she whispered,

"Huh, what are you talking about?" she tilted her head slightly,

"My name, it's okay if you don't know it. No one in the class calls me by my first name anyway."

"Why?" asked Chloe, but Harmonie was not with her, seeing my expression she nodded where she was and as I turned around I realized she was going to get a ball.

I heard Chloe and Corine talking to each other, but I didn't pay attention to what they were saying since I was watching Harmonie bothering the teacher, I couldn't hear what they were saying to each other either, but by seeing her face I knew that's what she was doing.

"Oh you know the three of us have a little, problem remembering people's names, it's not because of you at all," said Chloe, this had caught my attention, so I turned to them.

"And we're not going to lie to you, we don't know the names of most of the people in the class," Chloe continued, looking at me briefly at the end.

Corine turned her gaze to me, and I nodded my head to confirm what Chloe had said. I don't think we were the only ones with this kind of problem, but we had one that was a special case, an extreme case.

"Hey, here you go," Harmonie said, handing me one of the two balls she had in her hand.

''Thank you,'' I said as I took it. 'Ah, I almost forgot.'

"Tell me H what did you say to the teacher to make him be like that?" said I as I looked at our teacher who was yelling at other students.

"You know he's like that all the time... Sir! You're going to make us deaf by the end of the year!" shouted Harmonie at the teacher who was at the very end of the field.

"Warm up!" the teacher shouted at us, Harmonie turned her attention to us with a smile on her face.

"When are you going to stop bothering our gym teacher?" asked Chloe.

"Never?" And as if she remembered something,

"Well, we need to warm up," she said, taking Corine's hand.

"Hey, the teacher said Corine was with me."

"Sir, can I get in with her?" she yelled again as she put her hand on Corine's shoulder.

"I'm not deaf, Harmonie. And yes, you can get with her." said the teacher,

"Thank you, sir," she said, but her voice still raised,

"Harmonie, stop it!" said Chloe, giving her a 'mom ready to punish her child' look. Harmonie smiled and said nothing, she then took Corine's hand again and walked away from us a little.

"Well, let's get started too," said Chloe with a sigh,

"Are we using the net or not?"

"No, without the net."

"Okay."

It wasn't every day that you could see them acting like this, it seemed like they switched personalities. When Chloe acted calmly, it seemed as if it was Harmonie who took over her torch and vice versa, a real team effort.

We heard the teacher whistle less than five minutes later, nothing surprising since we had spent our time talking.

Harmonie and Corine came closer to us,

"Well, let's go to the last field. I don't feel like going too far. Do you mind?" said Harmonie who was a little quieter.

"No," I said, Chloe and Corine just nodded.

We were going to face a mixed team with two girls and three boys. They were of an average level according to Harmonie.

"Laurine, you go first," Harmonie said, 'Laurine?' she moved closer to Corine and handed her the ball, 'Oh, Corine.'

"You know I want a boom, don't you?" asked Harmonie as she looked at Corine, "A boom?

Corine looked like she understood what she meant as she nodded and had a look of determination on her face.

Corine was on the line for the serve, Chloe was on the right side of the court, and I was on her level, but on the left, Harmonie was in front of the net, she had, a serious expression on her face.

"RC Laure, RC!" said Harmonie,

"Power?" asked Lau-Corine,

"2/4" answered Harmonie, I looked at Chloe and saw that she was also looking at me with a puzzled look, we just ended up shrugging our shoulders.

And then it started. We had to stop when one team had 11.

The score: was 11/0.

A massacre, it was a massacre, the rival team was completely massacred, Chloe and me, we had played very little. But for Harmonie and Corine, we had the impression that they had given everything, but we knew that for H, it was only a warm-up.

We had finally understood that RC meant right center, RL right long...

"So apparently we aren't staying at the last field," said Harmonie,

The next team was like ours, only girls. It was an average hard game according to Harmonie.

"Apply yourself to the precision, they will go for the power." I don't know why, but apparently, we understood her. Since she was congratulating us even when we were doing anything good according to me but giving us advice right after of course. I wondered if she would even like us to give her advice. 'Good question!' and then just as I said that to myself,

"H, focus on speed, you already have the accuracy," said Chloe, who hadn't taken her eyes off the ball that was in the hands of the opposing team.

"Thanks, ma baby." I heard Chloe grunt in annoyance, and I saw Harmonie smile when she heard it.

Result of the game: 11/5 for us, of course.

"The girls had all my respect for you. You there, the tallest one when you do your serves turn your body like this," said Harmonie showing her how she should do it,

"That will help you not to miss serves all the time. Other than that, I love your team spirit."

"Tell me, are you going to compliment them all or what?" I asked,

"No, I'm just glad I could compete with them. They're strong," she said as we walked to our new field.

"Oh!" exclaimed Harmonie,

"Strong, very strong," added Harmonie as she saw the opposing team of three boys and two girls.

I looked at them, 'How can she know that just by looking at them?'

11/7

They only had 4 points left to win, and we had 5, I guess I wasn't the only one who thought we were going to lose. But apparently, not Harmonie and her fighting spirit. I felt as if I blinked once, the game was over. Did I black out? 'What the hell happened? '

"H had made some sick sets to us and Cora attacked," replied Chloe, apparently I spoke out loud.

I just nodded my head, I wondered what Harmonie did to Corine during the last five minutes of warm-up. She looked like a completely different person.

We were finally on the second court, "Medium Strong and Hard."

She moved closer to us, "There, you need to work on speed. Laurine keeps your power, play 0.5/4. Chloe, with the speed you attack-"

"Wait, she can attack?" Harmonie looked at me with an expression that said, 'What did you think?'

"She's got great air," she turned back to Chloe,

"You're going to have to use your speed ma baby, don't use power to attack, use speed, I'll get the power." I'm not going to lie, but I couldn't understand what she was saying.

"And you, Cassie, you just make good sets."

"Huh?

"Wait, that's it?" She nodded,

"Oh."

Although I didn't understand her, I was expecting something crazy for me too, but serious, setting?

"Don't make that face, Cassidy. You have the most important role, and I'm not going to lie to you if you're not careful, you're going to be k.o. after this game." I didn't believe her, and I was wrong for not doing so.

The score was 11/8.

I was completely exhausted, I felt like I had run a marathon. My lungs were on fire.

"Don't sit down, walk to calm down." I nodded and complied, "Chloe, Laurie, you could drink after."

"But H-"

"No, Laurine," said Harmonie before walking towards the teacher.

2 minutes later

"Okay, we'll resume in two minutes," said Harmonie,

"But H-"

"I'll explain later. It's going to be average, borderline weak," muttered Harmonie,

"Chloe, you can sit down," she said as she sat down next to Corine and Chloe, I sat down.

"Well for this game, our level is average, borderline weak." 'Huh?'

"Wait, were you talking about our level compared to the opponent's all this time?"

"Huh what?" she asked me,

"I thought you were talking about their level,"

"No, I was talking about our level. For example, medium hard means that we have an average level compared to them and that we have to be hard, that is, focused on accuracy."

"What does the hard in medium hard mean?" asked Corine,

"Speed and power. Medium means playing normally as usual."

"What should we do if our level is medium to low?" She looked me straight in the eyes,

"We'll have to work hard, we'll have to try everything. Weak hard, very hard, and very strong."

"You are telling us that we have a weak level and that we must use precision, power, and speed, right?"

"Yes, and we have to give it our all," said Harmonie,

"You know what? That's it, I'm done. I'm done trying to decipher what you're trying to say."

"Don't try to figure it out, I'm having a hard time with it too. And she wouldn't be able to explain it to us," Chloe said,

"She just said we were going to be exhausted by the end of the game and that we need to show teamwork." We all turned around, shocked.

Harmonie nodded, "Hmm, that's right."

"And you could have just said that."

"I just told you she can never explain complicated stuff," Chloe told me,

So to sum up, Harmonie and the teacher made a bet, I'm still wondering how it's possible, well if we beat the group of three guys who were on the first court, she won the bet.

And finally, she won her bet. I soon realized why she didn't want the two girls to drink water.

I felt like I was going to throw up at any moment, my head was spinning, and I passed out.

Yes, you heard me right. I will never do that again. I've had my fill of sports. I hope this bet is a good thing, but knowing Harmonie, it must not be.

Oh, I almost forgot, the score was 11/10. I swear I'll never follow Harmonie and her dumbness that she still hasn't given up. I can now confirm that Harmonie's competitiveness is torture.

I felt someone catch me before I fell,

"Good job, champ," says the one who is the cause of my current state,

'Fuck y-'
