Care

Jing Tian was stunned. "Huh?"

I said frankly, "Is my leg broken? Is it incurable? Do I need to use a crutch or a wheelchair in the future?"

Jing Tian raised his eyebrows. "What nonsense are you talking about?"

I patted his chest with my movable hand. "It's fine. I can accept the truth."

Jing Tian pulled my hand away. "What truth? Why do you need a wheelchair or a crutch? Haven't I told you that you're fine?"

I looked at Jing Tian and said carefully, "Now you're more like your normal self. You were so gentle earlier that I had to assume the worst."

Jing Tian didn't know whether to laugh or cry. He poked my forehead. "What's all this nonsense in your head? We should send you to the neurological department to see if your head is injured too!"

I felt more at ease when he used this incredulous tone. I reached out to hug his arm. I rubbed my face against it. "Well, I was heavily injured. Can you blame me for thinking that I'd be crippled?"
