As one of the three inner disciples, he was clear on Shifu's temperament. If he ordered them to do anything then one must do it. Thus, he rushed towards the gate only to remember that today was the day that the entrance examination was taking place. He despaired. How would he know which one came from the array, not to mention there was a possibility of nothing?
As it happens, the heavens haven't given up on him. There were three people in front of the gate that was conspicuous as a splash of ink on a white paper. They were not doing anything while everyone around them climbed like their life depended on it. Not to mention, they were drenched from head to toe.
Xu Tian Sheng was in cold water one moment and woke up at a high altitude the next moment. It took a while for him to get used to it.
Tang Mu Xing recovered the fastest as he had a trained body. He turned around to help Xu Tu up, only to discover he was motionless. He put his hand on his wrist to feel the pulse. Thankfully his heart was still beating. It seemed that he just fainted. But it was still unknown how he lost consciousness.
A person clad in a light blue robe landed before them. His steps brisque yet light. He looked kind and cheerful. But his power was something that one needs to be wary of. He reached his hand out to Xu Tu gently. Tang Mu Xin blocked those hands impolitely. They were in a place where the other side was at advantage and this person was powerful. He had to be alert or they won't even know how they died.
"I am an inner disciple of master Han Zikui. He wishes to have a chat with you. But, before that, I wanted to help this friend of yours."
"How can I be sure you have no malicious intent? Not to mention I don't even know who this master is." He was wary. The person showed a surprised expression, it seems that it was unusual that he didn't believe the words he said.
Tang Mu Xing wanted to refuse but his colleague's situation wasn't looking good. Even though he only spent a week with him, he knew that he wasn't weak at all. For him to not be able to wake up, it seems that it wasn't simply drowning. And the protagonist also seemed to have some problems. It may take more than a little time for him to get out of this stupor. So he gritted his teeth and very reluctantly agreed.
The youth took out a flying spiritual boat from his spatial bag. He first helped the mortal to move his two companions on the board. Then, he controlled the boat with spiritual power towards the peak where he and his fellow core disciples lived with the master.

When the boat arrived at the White Jade peak there was already someone waiting for them in front of a courtyard. It was a handsome man with jet-black hair and a calm and heroic look. The young man only nodded towards him and wasn't able to salute him because he was holding Hecate in his arms. "Master, I have brought the people who came through the array. This one has fainted not long after I arrived at the place."
It's not that Tang Mu Xing was willing to let him carry Xu Tu. But he had no choice but to relent because he had to help out Xu Tian Shen. His co-worker had reminded him to put priority on the protagonist if he ever has to choose between him and Xu Tian Shen.
"Follow me inside. I'll check him and have a little chat with them about the situation." The man said and went into the house.
The manor inside the courtyard looked cold and solemn. Yet, at the same time, it was very messy. Perhaps it had something to do with the countless arrays surrounding it. Tang Mu Xing felt the air around this place was pure and gentle but the overlapping drawings made it give off a creepy feeling.
The elder put Hecate down on a wooden bed and checked his pulse, while doing so, he also checked through his meridian. The result shocked him. A person who came from the mortal world through an ancient teleportation array had a cultivation and it was at Late Stage Foundation Building, almost reaching Golden Core. He felt that this person might be a genius that would be encountered once in a hundred thousand year. He had five spiritual roots, all of which were mutated into their strong counterparts, that eased his cultivation instead of hindering or slowing it down. Was it even possible? He nearly thought he was having a stroke and was hallucinating as a result. But after repeatedly confirming, he finally believed it.
It seems that the array had a special ability in it other than teleportation. He let his disciple lead the other two people come inside. They were wary of him and he could understand why. "This friend of yours has a peculiar constitution. I will have to check the two of you to know how to heal your friend. " These words might not have lowered their defense but it made them willing to have their body checked.
Once is an accident. Twice is a coincidence. Three times is a pattern. When he discovered that the scary looking guy, who kept guarding that unconscious youngster, had a spirit root of earth and wood which mutated into single spiritual root of metal, yet still retained their affinity, he was starting to understand something.
Lastly, when he checked the youngest looking of the three, who had a 'near impossible to encounter' type of spirit, which was the dragon spirit, he was stunned for quite a while to digest that he had encountered the three most rarest situations in the cultivation world. And they all came from the mortal realm.
