A storm of passion

Suddenly sensing a tense atmosphere, Phoenix began to cry. Lucianna thought that he was uncomfortable from his soiled diaper, but when she checked his diaper, it was as clean as a new one. Then, she realized that it was approaching his feeding time, so perhaps he was acting up due to hunger.

Lucianna sat on the rocking chair beside the fireplace and unbuttoned her shirt to reveal one of her breasts, ignoring Beichen's unfathomable gaze. There was nothing else to hide now that he figured out her identity.

"There, there, my little pumpkin pie," she coaxed the colicky baby in her arms.

However, Phoenix was not interested and refused his mother's bosom. Lucianna frowned and became wary. Phoenix was always a cheerful baby and never cried to this extent, so Lucianna was worried that he might be sick somewhere.

"I think he might be ill somewhere," she hurriedly suggested in a concerned tone.
