First true fight and war -NE

We decided to walk back to Tempest, as the portals that I use aren't useful for large groups yet, same with Rimuru's teleportation. Not to mention, it was only a few extra days of travel and it would be relaxing. Well, that would be true if not for the fact that this world is a distorted alternate timeline. Anyways, we left and plan on returning in about two months for this thing the classes do, it's kind of interesting. Pretty much, we travel to a different territory. Thinking about it, how did Rimuru not notice that the demon he summoned was the same as the one he 'beat' during that training, and I guess the same in vice-versa.

Well, whatever. We're walking on the path toward Tempest and are now two days out of Ingrassia, heading toward Jura. All the kids are with us too. We all agreed it would be better to take them and train them ourselves in Tempest instead of leaving them as tools. We might have a few people after us, but we have Veldora, Milim, Rimuru, and myself, and that's just for now. Soon Shion will power up, same with Benimaru, not to mention the already broken Hakurou.

Anyways, my corrupting of this timeline apparently brought a certain event forward, which isn't exactly good. So, as we were walking, we encountered a certain paladin-girl that was fed information that we were evil, corrupt, yada-yada.

So, of course, I step forward and ask the important question, [Why exactly do you think that we are everything that you've just listed?]

[Because monsters are evil beings, and I was told that you were.] Hinata replies.

'You know, I think that might've just made me want to stab her really, really hard.' Taking a few deep breaths to calm myself down, I see in a ready stance. [What, are you going to try and kill us?]

[Of course, it's my duty as a paladin of the church to kill you vile creatures and save those five children.] She then unsheathes her blade sending out a huge wave of energy, not directed at Rimuru, nor me, but the one that just caused Hinata to forfeit her life, Shuna. I had received an S voucher for disrupting fate and claiming the dragon for myself and am now in the midst of using it. It just so happened an amazing skill showed up with it, Devourer, which I of course select. Then, with the help of Raphael, I 'devour' the energy wave before it can continue.

Truly now pissed off, I take a step forward. [Rimuru, protect the others, her life is forfeit.] I said this in a tone that was truly not ever going to take no for an answer, so he quickly did so. Shuna looked at me with some happiness, yet also some worry and a bit of pain. The fact that pain existed because she felt she was weak pissed me off even more. So I stopped moving forward, and I walked towards her.

I then take her into a hug. [You are not weak. Please remember this. You are also not just anybody, you are my wife and I, as the Klaxosapien Queen, have already recognized you. This means that you aren't simple either, you are the Empress Consort of the Klaxosapien empire, remember your title and position, and stand with dignity.] Yes, most of that was bullshit, there is no empire, but I am a Queen, and she damn well sure is my wife, therefore the Empress Consort, so, yeah, I just bullshitted my way into wanting an empire, huh.

Anyways, I give her a light peck on the lips and then pass her a syringe with a note and instructions. [Read it, I'm going to kill a pest.]

I then walk back toward Hinata and say, [So you just tried to kill my wife, your life is forfeit due to this. I simply have one other question, are you guys attacking Tempest as well?] Hearing this, Rimuru was shocked and deeply worried.

[We are. while I'm not happy about it, the church, Falmuth, and the Demon Lord Clayman have decided to forge a united front against Tempest and the monsters present there.] Now Rimuru, the slime that can't sweat, is sweating.

[Mmhm, SAPHIS, redirect all satellites that can point at the combined armies and their leadership towards them.] Hearing this, it was now Hinata's turn to be confused. [What are you doing?]

[I'm about to exterminate the pests that are these armies with the exception of Falmuth.] I then turn toward Rimuru, [You will be the one to destroy Falmuth. You need their souls to become a demon lord and you will need that power.] Rimuru nodded his head in understanding, but then realized something, [If I need to exterminate an army, how did you become a demon lord.]

This question actually made me pause and think. A true demon lord requires a Demon Lord Seed, which can be granted or taken. Rimuru took his seed, but I still became a demon lord without the Harvest Festival, making me not a true demon lord. 'Raphael?'

[Host has a seed that was granted upon leveling up to Demon Lord, however, the host has not completed the harvest festival. Suggestion, host completes the harvest festival using the Church's and Clayman's combined armies, leaving Entity Rimuru with enough to become a Demon Lord himself.] 'What about his Raphael skill?' [Host received me from his system, not from the Words of the World, therefore I am a superior version, yet still a copy.]

'Understood, I'll change my tactic.' [Thank you for giving me a moment to think, Ms. Sakaguchi. I have now decided that I need to slaughter a few armies so that I can become a True Demon Lord, as I have just discovered that I am simply a Demon Lord, not a true one, not yet at least. So you will be the first soul on this quest.] I pull out my sword and immediately dash towards Hinata, who was still recovering from finding out she decided to fight a Demon Lord.

Hinata recovered just before my slash hit, so she turned and slashed back, blocking my sword from continuing. Instead of stopping the flow, I decided to follow Z2's innate fighting instincts as a member of a race born only with the war on their minds for generations. Tilting my sword, I guide hers away while I lift my leg and kick out at Hinata, striking her in the ribs and blowing her backward a couple of dozen feet. Sometimes I forget how strong I actually am, and this time, I decided to use it all.

Immediately following up, I appear in front of her, attempting another slash, but this time from her bottom right and aiming for an area in her ribs that would allow me to slash her lungs and maybe even a bit of her heart, without the armor in the way. She stops me from hitting any vitals by twisting her body, but not from receiving a deep cut. I pull out my sword, causing blood to start flowing out quickly, and, knowing she has healing magic, I continue the onslaught, not giving her even a moment of rest.

Finally, after fifteen minutes of back and forth, she's tired herself enough to slow and leave a small opening, incredibly small, but big enough for me to take, and so I did. I made a stabbing motion and pierced the artery in her neck, then swiped outward causing it and her neck to be cut. I guess I slashed into her esophagus as well because she starts to drown on her own blood as well.

With this, she falls to the ground, dead. I use 'Devour' on her entirety, sword included, and received her skills and techniques, as well as her sword's special ability. The ability is broken and requires you to hit something only seven times for it to die, small cuts included. You could make a needle-sized pinprick and that would count. I only received two myself, but that doesn't mean it wasn't dangerous, it just means I was able to dodge safely for the most part.
